Hilderbrand Jewelers fixed two watches that another watch repair business told me (without even opening up the watches) would cost $150 or upwards to repair. I was shocked and very disappointed as the watches weren't even valued at that yet one of the watches had tremendous sentimental value. I then took them to another jewelry shop and they sent me to Hilderbrand Jewelers. When I brought my watches in the gentleman who greeted me took my watches to the back for evaluation. In a very short time, he came back and told me that both watches could be repaired for $25 each. They just needed to order the parts. I was SO happy!!! My watches were ready in just under a week and I couldn't be more pleased!!! I will take all my watch repair needs to Hilderbrand Jewelers in the future. They also had beautiful jewelry! Oh my gosh I was quoted over a week at another place to get a ring repaired my great aunt gave me and h8lderbrand had it done in a couple hours same day for a fraction of the price! I will forever come here for any sizing or repairs. I was missing a small diamond on the ring and they had the right size in stock and everything. I have never seen such amazing service or same day. And not even just same day... I think it was about 3 hours... the last place I had a ring repaired it was mailed off for over a week and cost 3 times as much. Parking - very large shared lot; plenty of room Service - very quick, professional, knowledgeable, good price Band options - they have different sizes of many different band sizes/styles so that you can see what band size you would like to cut an original down to. I was surprised they were able to resize my wedding ring and create two bands (out of my dads wedding band who passed) within an hour! We came 90 min later and they had cleaned and polished my ring, and the two bands were perfectly sized and polished too. They also returned the remaining gold from the original band. I took in a Tag watch that had been giving me a lot of grief since I got it (bought it elsewhere used, do not recommend). They got it working again in about a week and a half, and did not charge me anything. This review is based on service pricing and welcoming service by Robert today. I recently bought my Lagos bracelets from Neiman Marcus. I googled on how to clean it which it did clean well; however, the luster and oxidation was also removed. I got 3 quotes: Caleesi (south lamar- $25 per bracelet) Lagos ($25 per bracelet which I would also have to pay an extra $15 for them to send it back to me. I would have the hassle of boxing it and sending if off with insurance via certify mail.) This awesome establishment: $25 polish without oxidation for ALL 3 bracekets (I've decided not to get it oxidize bc I like the look of it not being too dark like other Lagos, and besides, oxidation is a natural process with time. (Lagos Cavier collection) I'll update with pictures of the polish tomorrow. Robert said that he specializes in watches so he will have another person to polish them since they are very delicate. I stopped in to have a ring resized. The ring was 3.5 sizes too big! I was concerned that having to take it down that much might affect the integrity of the ring, but they assured me it would not. The price they quoted me was lower than their competitors. I dropped the ring off and expected to pick it up a few days later, but unexpectedly was told it would be ready within the hour and that they would text me when it was ready. No more than 45 minutes later I got the text and got a perfectly fitting ring! And as expected, the integrity was intact. The job was done flawlessly. My wife works in the yard all the time, and the main diamond on her wedding ring was lost, and likely will never be found. Over the years we had several small pieces that needed repair, including a few watches with badly scratched quartz faces, and some small pieces from family members that passed, that we would likely never wear. We went in and were greeted by the very friendly shop dog, and Van Hilderbrand, the owner. We pulled the pile out of our bag, and he quickly went through the sell and repair piles. He made some good suggestions, including resizing and fusing my wife's wedding and engagement bands together, which she is very happy with. He gave us a quote for all the repairs, the quote for the sell pile, and the difference. This was a Saturday morning ~10:30am, and he said everything could be done by 3pm same day! What!? Excellent knowledge and service at Hilderbrand Jewelers. I bought a bezel for my watch (not from Hilderbrand) and took it to Hilderbrand to have it installed. The bezel fit, but I wasn't happy with the way it looked because it was not the correct bezel for my watch as it left too much of the crystal exposed. Luckily, Hilderbrand had the exact bezel that I needed and for a GREAT PRICE! I was having a hard time finding the bezel online for the price they offered it to me for. So I went in the next day, bought the bezel from them, and they installed it while I waited. Heldebrand is a fabulous jeweler! I recently lost the pin that connects the watchband to the face of the watch. Without the correctly sized pin, it is impossible to connect any band to the watch. I went to a jewelry store in the area in which I live and they did not have the correct size pin to fix my watch. I then called the manufacturer of the watch to see if they could repair it and they said that they did not have the size pin that would fit my watch. Basically, they dismissed the repair as not doable. I decided finally to do an internet search for a jeweler who might be able to be of assistance to me. I called Hildebrand and Van answered the phone. He suggested that there was a high probability that he could do the repair. Before leaving for the store, I decided to bring with me a pair of silver earrings, thinking that there might be a remote possibility that he could repair the broken post on one of the earrings because relatively few jewelers seem to work with silver. To my amazement, it took Van about 15 minutes to do BOTH repairs at a very competitive price! I cannot speak highly enough of Hildebrand Jewelers! read more

Van at Hilderbrand Jewlers helped me with one of the most difficult decisions for a guy, and this is to choose an engagement ring for my wife. My wife had a specific cut of diamond in mind and other than that, not much more to go on. Van helped look through books of rings that can be ordered direct to store to get ideas. We evenually settled on a ring that didn't come with the gems embedded, so he found the right gems to craft on to the ring. My wife was delighted with his work, we are a forever customer!
