What a lovely place to enjoy your breakfast without a bustling audience. It's calm, clean and soothing place. Not too many servers but who ever is attending you gives you quick and perfect service. I tried their wild mushroom omelet, ph it melted in my mouth and I finished it in seconds.. it was that good. Pancakes are the softest, yet fresh even though I took it as to go. I also got to try their avocado toast, honestly didn't like it that much but they made it keeping in mind a healthy choice so probably that's why Everything else was great.I'll go again to try their crepes

Overall it was a good experience! The interiors are always clean and pristine. Our server was sweet, I got the buttermilk pancakes which were delicious, the biscuits were kinda dense but ok and the garden veggie skillet, which was way bigger than I expected! I took it home to go. For two people our total was $44 and nearly each item cost around $15 which was kinda pricey but worth it!

One of the best parts of The Hills Cafe is its location--tucked away in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood with a lovely view of the lake. The inside feels bright and fresh, a modern take on a classic café style. The food leans more toward a lighter affair--it's not the heartiest or most indulgent breakfast you'll find, but it's a nice option if you want something a bit easier than the typical heavy café meal. The biscuits I had last time weren't warm, but they were still tasty. The server was a little slow and not particularly cheerful--friendly enough, just seemed like she didn't really want to be there--but the calm atmosphere and scenic setting make up for it. Pictured here is the Wild Mushroom Omelet.

I got the southwest skillet. It has brisket, eggs, red onion, hash browns, and avocado. The brisket was cut into very small pieces, so it was hard to eat individually because I didn't want to eat the onion. The hash browns were very crispy and delicious. The over easy eggs were cooked nicely too.

Great local breakfast/brunch spot! Came here with some friends on a Wednesday morning, we were greeted and seated immediately. I had the hills skillet, highly recommend. It was flavorful, fresh and a great portion. It comes with a side of biscuits/toast or pancakes. The decor is modern farmhouse and a super light and refreshing place to enjoy breakfast and coffee.

This place is located in the heart of Castle Hills so it's not hard to miss. For me the sweet best dish here is the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Each bite lets you taste the crunchy, sugary cinnamon sugar that envelope the exterior. The pancakes themselves are marvelously fluffy and it pairs so well with fresh strawberries. If savory dishes are what calls to you, you can't go wrong with the Hogg or Tex-Mex skillets. The chicken dishes are alright for but not as flavorful in terms of seasoning for a Texan breakfast dish. Considering how this is in Castle hills, the prices aren't bad.

As I had enjoyed my experience at the Austin Ranch/The Colony location, I was looking forward to having breakfast here. Unfortunately, my experience failed to meet expectations. Service: When I am served my coffee, I am usually asked if I am ready to order. Rather than ask, my waiter immediately left the dining area. I assume he had dishes which were waiting to be served at his other tables. Food: When I ate at the other location, I was deciding between the Denver and Sausage & Cheese omelets. So today, I chose the latter. Rather than the ground sausage being spicy, it was bland. The hash browns also lacked any noticeable flavor. The only consistency between the two locations was the coffee. In brief, if both locations are equally close by, consider driving to The Colony.

Ian helped us out today, & we had such a great time. Our seating was outside with lots of shade. Indoors is aesthetically VERY pleasing . All the food was SO GOOD. My family came here for breakfast (3 adults & a toddler) & we were seated right away. I had a vanilla flavored coffee, side of bacon & chicken tortilla soup, side of fries for my toddler. My husband ordered the American breakfast & my dad ordered a vegan oatmeal. All the servers were incredibly attentive. Enjoyed this so much!

Went here for breakfast and were very pleased! We made a great choice by going to this place! Loved their very berry waffles, the berries were fresh and topped with cream. The chocolate chip pancakes were also great! Melty chocolate chip morsels were the best part. Oh and their coffee was freshly brewed and tasted just amazing! It really woke us up :D Will definitely come back!

I have been coming here again and again. It's been over a month and it's our FAVORITE weekend brunch place. The place is so nice, clean and well-decorated. The service is excellent and everybody is so nice and provides fast service. I never waited in line whenever i come here during brunch hour. Food is EXCELLENT! Clean, delicious, and you can taste the fresh ingredients. My ultimate favorite is the southwest skillet. The brisket is tender and smoky, the hash browns is flavorful, the egg is fluffy, generous jalapeño, and ALWAYS perfect avocado everytime. They have mimosa and other fun drinks. Highly recommend.

such a cute little breakfast and brunch place located at the top of Castle Hills. they seated our group of 6 very quickly. We loved all the food there, and it was very very reasonably priced. They had some pretty good oatmeal along with breakfast burritos and pretty decent coffee as well. I got the hues rancheros and my partner got the steel cut oats. Prices were very decent for the portion size, I felt energized and ready for the day. The service was just for a needed and they were able to see it a fairly large group of six people quickly. Would return for the convenience and price!

Cutest spot for breakfast and lunch in Castle Hills. Wonderful warm smiley welcome when I walked in. They definitely had the welcome committee ready for everyone that walked in the door. Very sweet. It was around 9:15am and had a good amount of people but by the time we left it was pretty jammed packed and they were on a little wait. Go early. We had a very kind waiter. He was helpful and attentive. Everyone was so friendly. We ordered the salmon and traditional benedicts, tasty! Also splurged on Texas pecan waffle and chocolate chip pancakes- wowzers. It was a wonderful times. A beautiful day for brunch! Thank you, Hills Cafe!

I have been here a few times in the last few months, always for brunch, and I have always been very happy with the food and the friendly service. The portions are generous and well presented. When I was there last Saturday, I got two scrambled eggs, and they came with two sausage patties, fruit, and three pancakes :) I was surprised that they have kept the prices of everything very reasonable. They don't have a full liquor license, so no Bloody Marys, but they have mimosas, so it's all good! The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming, and I look forward to my next visit!

Do they serve mimosa's or bloody Mary's for brunch?

They do now! They had several options, mimosas and more. They are good! Considering the OJ they serve, it is not a surprise

Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.

Luckily, there's plenty of parking in the attached garage and a good number of tables and chairs inside the store. However, most people come with a group of 4-5 people since it costs $15 for the first person as a base, and then only $5 more per person, with a max of 5 people per group. We were lucky enough to snag a table, and we got to enjoy their various classic games, including Jenga, Uno, and even Monopoly! They also have some stands that sell various crocheted plushies, stickers, and cool keychains. In regard to the Boba, there is a good amount of tea bases that you can choose from, and so many flavor choices as well. It's awesome that they let you customize your sweetness level, and you can add on toppings such as boba, lychee jelly, or coconut jelly for no additional charge. My friends and I each had about 3-4 Boba drinks, but the best one we had was definitely the Thai tea with brown sugar and boba at a 50% level of sweetness. It was refreshing, and you could actually taste the tea flavor. The boba was soft and chewy. Hopefully, they add some popping boba in the future. We will for sure come back to Miao as it's a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some classic board games!

Each pizza pie we tried had its own unique twist, which made for a fun and tasty experience. My favorite was the Short Rib and Blue Pie -- rich, savory, and delicious. We ended up sharing so we could taste everything. The Carnevino could've used more bacon jam, as the bacon flavor didn't really come through. The Sausage and Peppers Pie had more of a spicy kick, which added some heat to the mix. Our waiter was attentive, engaging, and offered helpful recommendations. It looks like we came just after the lunch crowd, so the timing worked out well. The outdoor patios looked like a great place to sit next time -- definitely want to try that. Beyond pizza, the menu has a lot more to explore, including pastas, chicken dishes, and even a kids' menu for those with little ones.
