Good for a quick meal, but nothing special!!!!! I visited Triple A Cafe recently. The food was decent -- some items were tasty, but others were bland and lacked attention to detail. Portions were reasonable, but it didn't feel like anything particularly stood out. The staff was friendly, though service was a bit slow at times. Usually a great experience! The service was spot on not a problem at all. But I think they were a little busy and maybe they didn't have everything that they needed. I ordered the avocado toast and they were 86 on it which makes sense that happens. My daughter ordered pancakes.. didn't taste like the batter was very fresh. They tasted very doughy for lack of a better term So I ordered the steel cut oats. It took almost 15 minutes to get out oats. That should have been my first caveat. Once it finally got out it was mostly white like it was full of cream or some sort of milk because the steel cut oats were gluey. It was great presentation and nothing was anything wrong with the service it was perfect service. But I think that for some reason those things are either not ordered often or maybe the quality of the items should be improved I'll attach some pictures obviously I don't convey the texture or the taste I'm hoping this is a one-off because I know for a fact I've had great steel cut oats here before read more

First time visiting Triple A Cafe and I was very impressed. Upon arriving, we were greeted immediately, and although it was busy, were seated at a booth right away. The hostess took our drink order and the waiter was at our table within a few minutes after to take our order. Our server, Ernesto, was pleasant and made sure our dining experience was a positive one and made sure our coffee cups were always full. I ordered the Big Tex omelet with a side of hash browns and sourdough toast along with Lavazza coffee. The food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The portion sizes were great. It was a rather large plate and the omelet took up one half while the has browns took up the other half. The toast was thick and well buttered. The omelet was chock full of ingredients and very tasty. Everything was cooked perfectly. My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, was that in the fruit cup, the grapes had pits in them. Like I said, not a major deal, but did want to call that out. I will definitely be back for breakfast again in the near future. read more

Food was great. Hubby loved his skillet because it is not dry. I love corned beef hash and theirs didn't disappoint. I like my eggs well done and it was perfect. Service was tops. Three wait staff attended to us checking if we need anything. They are all so nice and accommodating. Went there on a Monday late morning so there's aren't a lot of customers so it was quiet. I normally give a 5 star rating but today only a 4. Went for breakfast on Birthday 3/20. I ordered normal order of classic benedict. with grits. Benedict was great but grits were terrible. Fine on top but about 1/4 down looked like melted butter and like soup. I should have sent them back was so upset and I even forgot to get my free entree card punched. Hash browns are hash whites and they failed to achieve any crispy sear on the potatoes ... just look at the photos on yelp - I don't know how you can mess hash browns up as a breakfast joint. I am surprised at the high rating. I would not recommend. Starting with customer service, I was seated fairly promptly upon entering. However, once I was seated, I was not served or even acknowledged for over 30 minutes. It was busy, but every other table was getting served and taken care of, and many patrons that came in after me were served even before I was even acknowledged by any of the wait staff. After 30 minutes, the hostess finally came to our table, took our drink orders, and told us our waitress would be with us shortly. The waitress came by, no apology, not even a "thanks for waiting" or anything. I never felt more disregarded as a customer. The poor customer service aside, my friend and I ordered the skillet. I ordered the garden skillet, over medium eggs with sourdough bread. I wish I could say the food was redeeming for the poor service, but good gosh the food was so incredibly bland. I will say, this is probably the closest I've gotten to true over medium eggs, so kudos to the chef for executing that properly, but the food tasted so unseasoned and has no flavor at all. To top it off, my friend and I both had stomach problems later. The food was flavorless, and the customer service left me completely disappointed. The only reason why this place gets a 3 is because 1 dish was semi-decent. Even a 3 Star for this place is generous. Atmosphere (2/5) : There's a foul odor when you enter so don't sit near the restrooms. Service (3/5): It was just awkward. The waitress just ignored us most of the time and didn't even give us a chance to try to reorder a different dish. Food (3/5): For the love of God, why do you put butter in your oatmeal? It's not steel cut oats as advertised; it's just the quick 5 minute oatmeal. The sausage tastes like dry cardboard. The biscuit was overly salty but had a good texture. Meat Skillet: Fairly decent and a good hearty meal to fill is up. Overall it's a shame about this place because I used frequent this place since 2021. Found this great breakfast spot! Hubby's Baconato omelet was delish! Who doesn't love Bacon and avocado with their eggs?? The biscuit and grits were perfect! The coffee was fresh and yummy too! When we first discovered Triple A Cafe, we were sad that we hadn't tried them sooner. They are in a very convenient location and the food and service were great. We especially loved their salsa. However, over time, the luster wore off as it seemed the quality of the service greatly deteriorated and the extra charges for every tiny detail (a tiny cup of salsa to go with an omelet, for example) got to be a bit much, especially when we asked for extra of items that were said to be included, but then never received it. My partner tried to purchase the salsa in a larger quantity to take home, and after weeks of visits, despite leaving his information with the staff repeatedly and having learned early on that they do catering (so this should have been a very simple request), never could connect or get a price or any information. We have now abandoned Triple A for greener pastures. read more

We're visiting from out of town and happened upon this little diner. Totally recommend!! The food was great and came out quickly. The servers and management were so warm and welcoming. Inconsistency is going to kill this restaurant. After several visits, some of which were outstanding, and some of which are quite dreadful, I've just decided no more. Today was dreadful. The server was one we hadn't seen before. When we came at the tail end of a rush, we ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food. Then we had to wait for utensils. At least she was pleasant. As for the food: 1 I ordered sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast. One piece of sausage was just right while the other was on the edge of burnt. The hash browns had been cooked earlier in the day and then reheated. They were awful. 2 Son had the chicken fried pork tenderloin. It had an odd, off putting taste to it, perhaps adobo was used as the seasoning. It really wasn't very good. 3 Wife ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich. She ordered it without cheese. The server wrote no cheese on the ticket, and it came out with double cheese, on piece on top and one piece on bottom. Also, her sausage was like mine, one done correctly, and one burned. One final note, they seem to have switched to a spicier sausage than they started out serving. It was a poor decision. All in all, the place needs a new cook, and a new manager. Managers are supposed to oversee the quality that comes out of the kitchen, and this one clearly does not. We likely will not be going back. read more

We have driven by this little place a hundred times, and finally decided to try it. And WOW- I am so glad we did! First of all, the inside is so cute! I remember the dark bar that occupied the space before, and it's drastically different (and way better.) We were greeted immediately by our server, Alex, a polite young man. We chose a comfy booth and ordered coffee first. It was very good. We reviewed the extensive menu and finally made our decisions. I went with the chicken fried chicken, with hash browns, biscuits, and scrambled eggs with cheese. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy- cooked perfectly- and the breading was superb quality. The gravy was delicious and not too peppery like some places. The eggs were awesome, though I would order my hash browns extra crispy next time. The star of the show is really the biscuits. They were probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant and comparable to my grandma's homemade biscuits from my childhood. Buttery, light, but also dense and doughy. Seriously- you can't do this place without trying the biscuits. The hubby got the chicken fried steak skillet and he said the flavors were absolutely incredible. He ate every single bite and finished my chicken too. Lol. He also tried their signature hot sauce and he said it was great. Apparently it's the family recipe of the owner's grandma, so you can't really go wrong. The service was impeccable. Our server was genuine and attentive, but other servers also checked on us and everyone works together as a cohesive team. Great environment, super clean, and the food was fast, hot, and fresh. We love having breakfast there and usually have enough leftover to take home. for breakfast the next day. I love the break burritos, skillets and Benedict's. We usually sit at the bar and they have some outside seating. They serve Lavazza coffee. We also like the Ruben for lunch and the chicken fried steak as a take home for dinner. We want to support local businesses, today we devote forgo our usual breakfast spot, Mommas daughters, and give triple AAA a try. Possibly it was a. Off day for our waitress and perhaps the cook. We ordered the gyro skillet w pancakes, which arrived after we asked another waitress to bring the check and please deduct the pancakes. Husband orders the county Benedict, minimal gravy poor quality sausage, medium eggs were rubbery and nothing was extraordinarily warm. My eggs also ordered medium rubber, probably could have bounced them off the table. It felt like our waitress was overwhelmed, and it seemed that there was a lot of staff but not a lot of teamwork. The hostess was not very proactive, we watched a customer with a toddler have to go and grab his own high chair in full view of the hostess who had her head in her chin leaning on the counter. Bad look. We knew we made an error when everyone was getting their food, eating and leaving whilst we waited on our pancakes that came as the manager came over with the check and offered a discount on our just now arriving pancakes that e figured we would take home, but they whisked them away and eventually were returned. Maybe the training is lacking or it was a bad day. Not sure. They seem to have a good business, lots of customers. Today we were disappointed. Felt bad for our waitress it felt no one was jumping in to help. When the food gets done, somebody should bring it out doesn't matter who just bring it. Triple A is our go to breakfast place when we visit our son in Grand Prairie/ Arlington area. Great coffee and food. Their brand salsa is pretty good, I usually get a croissant breakfast sandwich and mix it up with ham instead is sausage. It's a lot either way so be hungry! My husband gets omelet and again, it's a lot!! I've not experienced long wait times but seating is decent. It's a medium size restaurant.
