    Classic Benedict with extra hollandaise
    Palka M.

We sat at the bar to avoid a 30 min wait, which was fine since it was a Sunday we didn't expect any different. I dont sit at bars much but I did feel like the service was not so great, now I don't want to be that person- but I did notice toward the end when it wasn't as busy it was better so I get that service is going to be different during peak time. I got the eggs Benedict which was good but something about the hollandaise didn't taste like hollandaise. The breakfast potatoes and pancake were delish! Pancake was huge! Also love a place that has both hashbrowns and potatoes (they also have fries) best of both worlds!! Love it!

Easter brunch was GREAT! A definite 10/10...our waitress Amiyah was great, she was super sweet and patient with our huge family, a party of about 20+. Everything I tasted was delicious - the breakfast potatoes, the bacon pancakes, breakfast burrito, brisket tacos, the white chocolate raspberry pancakes (loved the cream cheese glaze)...I even tried one of the Spring Special drinks, Blueberry Lemon Drop - really good! I honestly can't wait to go back to try more items. The staff was super sweet, accommodating and even with it being busy on Easter Sunday, we were seated a little after our reservation, but everything worked out perfectly!

First time at Bluebonnet and not a bad experience. Service was great. Our order was taken seamlessly, our server was I knowledgeable and attentive. We split the Breakfast sandwich and hash browns (added cheese). The sandwich was very good. The eggs were cooked properly and the bread was well toasted. The hash browns were crispy per our order but very bland. Definitely could have used some seasoning there. Not a bad experience and will return and try another side instead.

This is my second visit and honestly I don't recall much about my first visit but this visit had me appreciating that I came back. Bre was our server and kudos to her and she was informative and also very nice. My SIL ordered the Carmel apple mimosa and I told Bre I would wait to taste to see how it was as I didn't want to be stuck with a drink I didn't like. She assured me I wouldn't be stuck but one sip and I was like "sign me up for one of them" - my sister in law loved her biscuit as she said it was so soft it melted in her mouth. The pancake was as big as the plate so it was enough to share. The bacon came out the way I like as well as the eggs. On a personal note, I would prefer other options besides Chalula and Tabasco for hot sauce options. Overall a great experience!

Our server was Bri and she was excellent. She was the cherry on top of a great experience. The restaurant is bright and beautifully decorated. We had the caramel mimosa. It was so good. Oftentimes there is too much champagne and not enough "sweet" to the mimosa. This one was tasty and literally good to the last drop. My order was the Cowboy skillet. It's literally a hash brown scramble. Warning: the red onions are not sautéed. I would have taken it with no onions, if I'd known better. My friend had a light fluffy pancake. One pancake is big enough to share. It was great food in a great surrounding with a great server. When I visit Dallas again, it will be on my TODO list for sure! Oh yes, I had a biscuit. It was light and fluffy. Bread can be so heavy. I've had biscuits turn to a dry mush in my mouth. These were great. They would make any country grandmother proud.

Finally got a chance to try out this spot for brunch. Upon entering, we were seated quickly in a booth. The place was packed with people and the ambiance was nice and relatively quiet. Our server Katrina was super sweet and helpful when deciding what the choose for our meal. I ordered the chicken diablo sandwich with hashbrowns and cheese. The sandwich was much hotter than I was expecting but it was great! The hashbrowns were okay but that might have been because they were insanely covered in cheese. The chicken and waffles were also very good and were a nice portion size as well. I also ordered the drip coffee with caramel which to me was not that great. But overall it is a good neighborhood spot that I would come back to.

Went to visit this place for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised considering the low reviews. I got the cowboy skillet and the Nutella French toast. The food was well done and generous portions. I was surprised at how much food comes with the skillet. Would highly recommend it if you're hungry! The service was attentive but our waitress seemed a bit unhappy. The inside was clean and design was very well done. Would highly recommend giving this place a try.

This was my first time here but when I am back in the Lewisville area I would visit again. My friend, daughter and I came to eat here for brunch. We were seated immediately. The decor was cute but some of it looked "cheap" but I loved the large painting that they have in the restaurant. Our waitress brought us water and gave us time to review our menus. Our waitress answered all of our questions. I chose to get a espresso martini, it was so tasty. It was mixed perfectly. I also got the veggie skillet and added black beans (a $1 upcharge). The skillet was huge and it came with two sides. You definitely get your money's worth. My skillet was really good my only complaint is that it could use more cheese. One of my sides was a pancake, it was also huge and fluffy. It was cooked to perfection. I also got a "premium" side of fruit. I was a little disappointed because it had hair it. My waitress took it back but it looked like she just took out the fruit that was touched by the hair, it did not look like fresh bowl. Overall the service and food was good I just may pass on the fruit next time.

I stumbled upon this brunch spot on Yelp and decided to take a detour. The restaurant was moderately busy, with many tables unoccupied. When I opted to sit at the bar, I was not given a menu, as some other places did. Surprisingly, the bar was ill-prepared for diners. Only half the seats had utensils and menus. Despite being away from his station, the barista quickly acknowledged me and took my coffee order. I chose the Bluebonnet French toast. When the barista mentioned the abundance of toppings, I initially thought I had made the right decision by not ordering any sides. However, upon first glance, the Bluebonnet French toast was a disappointment. For a dish named Bluebonnet, I expected more blueberries, at least a dozen. I am glad not to have poured any syrup. The blueberry glaze barely had any blueberry flavor. The toast was moderately sized, both in surface area and thickness. In hindsight, I should have ordered a side. Due to the ongoing bird flu epidemic, the restaurant has a surcharge on egg dishes. There was signage on the door and the bar. As I was not at a table, I failed to notice if there was signage at the tables.

We came around 11-11:30, and even though it was fairly busy we were sat quickly. I believe service can make or break an experience, and I really enjoyed our server, Katrina. She was attentive, kind, and delivered exceptional service, which seems to be rare these days. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is for small ways that the food seems to be lacking. The omelettes could use more egg in the egg to toppings ratio, the iced coffees are soooo small, and the bright blue waffle topping is slightly off putting. However, none of that is enough to keep me from returning; we most definitely will! It's family-friendly, but I can also see this being a great place for adults to grab some brunch and drink. Would definitely recommend!

Avocado toast and I added lox.
    Lynn H.

Met a friend here for brunch today, and while the location is incredibly cute and the service was kind, the food was a bit hit-and-miss for us. My friend ordered the lobster omelette, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The texture wasn't the light and fluffy omelette you'd hope for, and the ingredients felt more "sectioned" than incorporated--big scoop of cheese, big scoop of lobster (generous chunks, though!), and a scoop of tomatoes, almost like a burrito filling. I've been on an avocado toast kick all summer, and this one ranked as my least favorite so far. On the plus side, the portion was generous--two large slices of sourdough, which is rare. But the bread wasn't really toasty, and the toppings (diced tomatoes, red onion, pepper flakes) didn't wow me. I added lox and a fried egg on the side, but I've been spoiled by better versions elsewhere. It did come with a side of fresh fruit, which was nice. The highlights? The space itself is adorable--lots of charm. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a big win. But be warned: it's loud, so not the best spot if you're hoping for an easy conversation. Overall, I might give Bluebonnet Brunch House another shot, but I'll definitely try something different next time.

Super cutie place with impeccable service. We had a wonderful young man as our server and he rolled out the red carpet for us. He was attentive, prompt and perfectly perfect. We ordered coffee and fresh orange to start- awesome. The lunch vibe was upon us so instead of breakfast or brunch we skipped to the good part- fries! We had some awesome sandwiches and such a great time. This place is so lovely and really enjoyable.

The concept of emptying out and filling a baguette with salad is definitely interesting... And it might even be a deterrent for some people for trying it out, so I am very grateful for my friend who turned me onto this place! Upon my first visit, I tried their Tinga chicken Zepplin and it is phenomenal. It is very very good! I got mine with chipotle ranch and avocado ranch. The flavor of this thing has me coming back at least once every two weeks. It is expensive, especially after leaving a tip and buying a drink on the app, coming to about 20 bucks for a stinkin' meal, but it is delicious. Being extremely curious about what happens to the inside of the baguettes, I noticed that they sell bread pudding, dessert, too; so I assume that this is where all that bread is going. The bread pudding is VERY GOOD, but serving-size is very small, but in my opinion, the perfect size for a dessert. I can see how some people might be upset about the small size, but frankly, they are fat ass Americans, lol, who are used to super-size drinks, fries, and inflammatory diseases #Hashtag "make small desserts a thing again". The ambience is on par with most fast food eateries these days: it is absolutely terrible! Hard surfaces everywhere, hard chairs, hard tables, so naturally it is a very unwelcoming environment, which is exactly how these corporate businesses design their stores... Corporate businesses don't want comfortable soft Carpets, comfortable benches, where people will spend time hanging out all day, or even soft seats... They strategically make their stores hard surfaced like this because, acoustically: sound is loud in these environments, and subconsciously customers don't want to spend very much time in these settings; Hence why they are designed this way to maximize turnovers and increase traffic. In my opinion, I think an eatery specifically like Bread zeppelin, would benefit greatly from having the Panera-bread style of soft carpets, soft seats, free Wi-Fi, welcoming all the local collage kids and other customers to hang out even if stay beyond the time it takes to eat their sandwich.
