This local spot reminds me of traditional authentic Hawaiian poke. The poke bowls are delicious and…read morethe ingredients are very fresh. You can build your own poke bowl. Which I love to do as there are so many options to choose from. Or you can opt for a premade combo which is good if you are indecisive or don't know what to mix. They also serve spam Musubi, another traditional Hawaiian dish that I like a lot. But I like spam. On this trip I opted for ramen as it was suggested by Naa who works there. I got the spicy tonkotsu which was very flavorful. It did not taste too spicy to me because I really like things extra spicy. So I might not be the best judge of spice level. If you like pork belly in your ramen such as myself it is listed on the menu as chashu. They also have beef, chicken and veggie add ons. If you want something sweet they also have mochi donuts. You can order on the kiosk. Or at the counter. The kiosk is super easy and convenient. Or you can order at the counter. The menu is on display monitors. Or there are paper menus. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They will explain the menu to you and make suggestions if you need help deciding. You can watch them make your food as the space has an open layout. This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch.

Stumbled upon this place while on a walk around the harbor! Was pleasantly surprised by the quality…read moreand quantity of food in the poke bowls, and the wide range of items on the menu (poke, açaí bowls, mochi, and more). We got two of the warm/cooked bowls (salmon, chashu pork) and the salmon lovers poke bowl. Loved the two salmon bowls, which were very fresh and had a lot of other delicious complementary toppings (edemame, seaweed salad, green onions, etc). Self order is super convenient! Limited seating indoor and outdoor, more of a grab-and-go place.

This is my secret pokebowl place. The one in timonium is so much closer to my house but I always…read morecome to this one up here near Hunt valley. Everything is better and cheaper. The only bad thing is that this is literally run by a couple so I'm not sure if they can handle a big order at once. So if you put in a big order, expect to wait a little. They also never reopened dine-in tables since COVID so there is literally just a table and chair and the place is not really much to look at. Take out orders are perfectly fine with me. Unlike other places they don't skimp out on stuff if you order online. They give you the same bowl stuffed with fresh fish and usual ingredients. This certainly get a five star for value. The only reason I gave four stars to this place is I usually only give five stars to something at Michelin levels.

I had driven by this place many times but finally decided to see what's what…read more The interior isn't much to look at but I ordered carry-out, a Sushi Delight and a Sashimi Delight. I went in and the man behind the counter was still slicing and preparing everything. The sashimi slices were some of the biggest I've ever seen and it was all very fresh and he gave me miso soup and ginger salad. The sashimi was salmon, tuna and yellowtail. The sushi included a couple pieces of broiled eel and a couple pieces of tako (octopus). I wouldn't say it's a dine-in destination but if you want good sushi/sashimi without anything fancy at a good price, give them a try!
