Mango Lassi Butter Chicken Garlic Naan

Tucked away in Casper, Wyoming, this Indian eatery pleasantly surprises with its homemade naan and cozy, family-centric vibe. If you're craving authentic flavors that go beyond the typical small-town fare, this spot is a definite winner. A special was the owner's personal touch--taking the time to chat with us about the naan.

I was super excited for Mango Chicken so I paid for extra mint chutney......... and never got it. Thanks

Fantastic! Don't let the basement location back you off. Today was my second visit. Great food, courteous server. I will definitely return when I'm in Casper. Love the Garlic Naan, Samosa Chaat, Vegetable Curry, Chicken Lollipops and Dal Soup!!

New owners in 2020 and wow did the food get even better somehow. I've managed to try over 20 dishes now and haven't found a flaw in the preparation or flavor of both the Indian and the Himalayan dishes. The new owner is the main server and she's super friendly knows all her dishes. The reason I say that is they have a huge multi page menu with so many things to try, including lots of vegetarian dishes. The buffet has been temporarily closed for nearly a year due to Covid, so that means ordering dinner size dishes at lunch, but I'm always happy doing that as leftovers from here don't last long. This even happens to be my ten year old son's favorite restaurant in town as he loves their cheese naan with chicken tikka masala. Make sure and have the masala tea with your meal. Highly recommended!!!

This is Wyoming, land of the bison burger, but in Casper, it is also the land of excellent Indian and Nepalese food. We entered a lovely dining room complete with white china and cloth napkins and were greeted by the owner who also was our server. The menu had a great selection of entrees, appetizers and breads. My husband had the chicken biryani and I chose the lamb saag (tender lamb chunks with spinach). Since everything looked so good, we also shared a Himalayan appetizer platter, veggie momos, naan and roti. Delicious. All our food was beautifully presented and piping hot. The sauces served with the appetizers really complemented the nibbles. We have travelled in India and the flavors were spot on. You folks who live in Casper are really lucky to have such an authentic taste of India and the Himalayas right on your Main Street!

    Veggie Noodles were kinda spicy!

Please tell everyone you know! 5 stars on the food alone. Living in Casper, it has been hard to find solid ethnic food, and this place is it with flying colors. While the dinner portions can be a bit pricey if you are dining alone, there is no reason to because you should call all your friends, family and neighbors to come try this place. No I am not a paid spokesperson, yes I have an affinity for Indian food, and yes this place would still be 5 stars on the food alone anywhere in the country. Being the first time here we also split the appetizer sampler and the Chicken Tikka Masala (ordered a 3 on a spicy scale of 1 to 5), which it was more than enough food for two large adults, bursting with flavor, and exactly made to the ordered spicy level. I also had a garlic basil naan, which was toasty, and chewy and so flavorful that I ordered a second one. The ambiance did leave a little to be desired in the back portion of the restaurant, but it fills the void of quality ethnic food Casper has been seriously lacking. For first timers, please note it can be hard to find but do not give up. It is through some double doors and downstairs right across the street from Eggingtons. I can't wait to come here for the lunch buffet!

Some of the best Indian food I have had. Very friendly people, too. I look forward to eating here again the next time I am in town.

This place doesn't know what himalayan food is. Nothing was authentic. Wouldn't go to this place for second time.
