Short and brief. I've eaten Indian food all over, Bay area, London, Paris. Indian is my favorite food, I take my Indian food seriously. I've tried this place a couple of times over the course of a few years and I have never had a dish that was actually good. Tonight I ordered Malai Kofta and the kofta would not have passed as fresh a week ago. The gravy was bland. And the rice. . . Why in the world is it not Jeera rice? I'm flabbergasted. I've had their Saag Paneer in the past and it almost ruined me on that for good. I thought I must have just caught them on two previous bad days before tonight. Nope! The restaurant itself is kind of hard to find, and is in the basement downtown. The food is only moderately expensive, but usually fills us up for more then one meal. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, the seasoning is amazing. My favorites are the chicken tikka, veggie samosas, and their awesome naan. Street parking is easy to find along 2nd Street. Look for a sign on the sidewalk right in front of Market Square. Go inside and follow the stairs down to find this hidden treasure (emphasis on the hidden). The restaurant is spacious and easily fit our party of 6, although we did see multiple parties larger than ours during dinner that night. We ordered everything from Cheese Naan to Samosas to Lamb Curry to Tandoori Chicken Tikka (my personal favorite). Needless to say, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we ordered way too much food. But luckily for us, everything also made for great leftovers. Spectacular Indian and Nepalese food!! My fiancé and I were road tripping from coast to coast, and after a few days in the Midwest we were finding nothing but burgers and pizza joints. We had scheduled a stay in Casper, WY purely out of convenience and didn't expect to find a truly phenomenal and authentic Indian restaurant out here! Reasonable prices, and great for sharing. We got the Mattar Paneer and Chicken Korma at a 10 spiciness level. Neither were very spicy, but they had a bit of kick. The vindaloo at another table smelled great too. Best Indian food I've had in ages. We had the Chicken Tiki Marsala, Aloo Saag and Garlic Naan. All delicious. I asked for a spice level of 8 for the chicken and it did not disappoint. Very spicy but just right for my taste. Aloo Saag was a 5 and it was a perfect medium level of spice. read more

We've heard nothing but good things about this place so we finally checked it out. I'm glad we did because it may be the best Indian food we've ever tried, Wyoming or anywhere! We had the garlic naan with a baighan Barta and a Himalayan dish I wasn't familiar with called momo chicken. They were phenomenal dumplings with the "chefs sauce" for dipping. We will be back! Best new restaurant is town! We're so happy it opened up. Every time I've come it's been absolutely amazing! Everyone in Casper or traveling trough needs to try this place! Hidden in the basement of Market Square plaza, on 2nd St. and Durbin, you will be pleased from the moment you walk in. The ambience is authentic Indian/Himalayan. Drinks have been great. My girlfriend has enjoyed the wine and I've enjoyed the Indian beers, Kingfisher and Taj Mahal lagers. I've had both the Butter Chicken (amazing!) and Chicken Curry (also delicious). My girlfriend had the Chicken Saag and Chicken Korma, both of which I would take as my last meal! Each dish has the option of different spice levels. I like spicy and it's been great each time (not overpowering). There is also mild and medium spice levels. Before you leave, make sure to have a Mango Lassi to finish you meal (mango yogurt dessert). Their food is hands down the best Indian/Himalayan cuisine I've ever had! It's so flavorful and you can request how spicy you want it to be. We usually go for #7 in terms of spicy and it's sooo good! We order the lamb curry, chicken tika masala and the one on the sizzling plate that's has lamb kebab, shrimps and chicken and it's soooo good! The service is amazing and very friendly. I only come here for the lunch buffet. I think you get the most bang for your buck and there's some nice varieties especially if you are not accustomed to Indian/Nepal food. This was our first experience at this restaurant. We ordered chicken curry and goat curry. The food had good portions, it came with rice and we ordered naan bread as well. The food was not hot but was warm. The rice was soft and delicious. The curry was not up to par. The goat curry was soft but it did not have enough spice for me. It also had species in it which typically are taken out in my culture. The chicken curry also was not spicy enough, it seemed like something was missing from the food. I am not sure if I want to try more of their food however I think they are the only Indian restaurant in Casper so I will prob end up giving in again. read more

We ordered five out of ten on spice level and it was pretty good, comparable to a low medium. We also had the spicy cabbage. First time with this dish. So so good. Strange to find better Indian food in Casper, WY than I can get in Eugene, OR. I had to stop myself from over-eating because it was so flavorful. As soon as you sit down, they bring you out papadam with a sweet dipping sauce. From reading previous reviews, they seemed to have worked out the kinks in their service - my server was very attentive. Next I had the paneer appetizer (fried cheese). This was served with a delicious mint dipping sauce. For the main entree, I ordered the chicken korma. Chicken in a delicious, thick, cashew sauce. I ordered the spicy heat, but could have gone to the extra spicy (I like my food very spicy). The rice was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the roti with butter, which was a perfect companion to the rest of the meal. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Casper. Great food! The Home made Naan was nice and light. Perfect for dipping and wasn't too thick so it complimented all the dishes really well. We ordered the Lamb Samosa, Chicken Tiki Masala, Bhindi Masala, Baigon Bharta and Basil Naan. The only thing that could have been better was the chicken was dry in the Masala. Had the lunch buffet today for the first time and enjoyed it. The food was good and the naan was very good and fresh. My biggest problem was the lack of options on the buffet; lots of chicken dishes and not much else. I enjoyed the Tandoori chicken a lot and all the other dishes i tried were good but just needed more options. They also have a very extensive menu available for both lunch and dinner. Great food and service! I had the lamb samosas, which were perfectly spiced and fried, and served with a delicious chutney. The main course was lamb korma, which was tender and flavorful. I asked for it to be medium spicy. I should have gone with hot. But always better to air on the side of caution I suppose. Also sampled chicken vindaloo and a tandoori mixed grill of chicken, lamb, and shrimp. Oh, and of course naan. Everything was wonderful and expertly prepared. For those new to Indian food, the lunch buffet would probably be a great opportunity to sample lots of different dishes. They don't have a beer and wine license yet unfortunately (as of 09/2016), so you'll be limited to teas, sodas, and water. It's located in the basement of the Marketplace building in downtown, which isn't exactly the best location. Once you get there, you have to snake through some hallways to get to the host area. But it's definitely worth the wandering. read more
