I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal there after five months of strict healthy eating. I had been cautious about flavorful food because of health concerns, including three strokes. When a friend invited me to lunch, I first said I would go to Angie's for a salad. She kindly offered to ask the chef to go easy on the salt and soy sauce, which put me at ease. The food turned out to be fantastic. Every bite felt like a treat after my long stretch of simple meals. The flavors were bold and satisfying, and I loved everything. The service was just as good. The owner walked around the dining area serving tea to guests, which gave the meal a warm, personal feel. His friendly manner made the experience even better.
