I had mine made with Baileys (just a heads up, it's a small upcharge), and it was so worth it! It was smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and definitely had a nice kick. One of the better espresso martinis I've had in a while. We ordered the seafood platter to split, and honestly, it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. Our waitress, Kay, was amazing! She was so sweet, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. She recommended the espresso martini and the mac and cheese. She was spot-on about the martini! The mac and cheese was good, but it was a little on the dry side and could've used a little more seasoning. That was probably the only thing we'd change. Overall, we had a really great experience. We ordered the Brussel sprout appetizer, crab dip, and chicken Chesapeake sandwich. All three were very good. My only critique was that there was a bit too much salt on top of the crab dip. I also got a non alcoholic lemon basil fizz. I did not taste any of the basil and for $11 I would skip this next time. Overall we were happy with the experience and would gladly come back.

The valet, the host, the servers and the managers all make you feel like you're the most important guest in the building, regardless of how many other guests and parties are there. And the atmosphere is one in a million, I felt like I was at a neighborhood hangout but also eating in a royal dining room. I love the attention to detail. So now to the food + drinks. I am not a drinker so I asked for mocktail recommendations and ended up with the POG it was served in a SPAM can and was so delicious it was passion fruit, orange and guava drink and was not just delicious but also beautiful! And I'm telling you now, it's closing by the end of July! There's another one nearby, and that one closes in August!! Maybe you don't think of fish as a fast food. But what they do here they do pretty well. The fish are great big pieces of tender, almost creamy white fish, in a pretty thick crunchy batter. The shrimp are quite large, in the same batter. The fries are generous and hot crispy waffle fries. The beverages are self serve. The flavors are good. The seafood and batter and cooking oil are all fresh. They have maybe six different sauces to choose from, they're all pretty flavorful, but with this batter, you have to go with the malt vinegar. It's a perfect match! This place is on Ritchie Highway, halfway between I-695 and I-895. I'll miss this place. If you can get here during the rest of July, you're lucky.
