I'll admit, I was disappointed. The wait for drive-thru was long even though I went well after the lunch rush. As I waited to place my order, multiple people came out without masks on. I think HipBurger is better than In-N-Out!!!! I used to live on the west coast and moved out to Greenville about 6 months ago! I never thought I would find a fast food burger that would top In-N-Out. I love the perfectly consistent spread, thin flavorful patties, and how the cheese is melted perfectly. It was like a symphony perfectly in tune throughout every bite. No complaints whatsoever! The garlic parm fries were great! Crispy exterior and soft exterior just the way I like it. Only knock is they were a little oily. Definitely tier 1 fast food fries. The chicken sandwich deluxe was excellent! Had a nice laid back mild spice, tender texture, and juicy with each bite. Would love to see them get a spicy chicken sandwich. I REALLY wanted to love this place based on previous reviews posted here. You could see that the food was freshly prepared to each order-that's a plus. The garlic parm fries were nice and crispy, but, there was no noticible garlic flavor or taste to the fries. The pseudo parmesan that was used didn't even begin to melt on the hot fries. There was some sort of oil in the bottom of the fry boat, so I'm thinking it was possibly a garlic flavored oil they used? The burger, good, but not good enough to go out of my way for it. Salted caramel milkshake-nice and thick; con, it tasted mostly like a vanilla shake; no noticible caramel flavor at all. Overall, I found HipBurger a slight step above most fast food franchises; good if you're really hungry and can't wait for anything else, but I don't forsee a return visit. read more

Never coming back here. We ordered a 12 piece nugget, a double burger with no tomato or onion, a regular burger, regular fries, garlic fries a vanilla shake and a Coke. We received 2 regular soggy fries, garlic soggy fries, a double burger with no lettuce or tomato (but with a ton of onion for my fiancé who hates onion,) a regular burger, a shake so sweet we couldn't drink it and NO chicken nuggets. Total waste of money. Food nothing special, just a greasy blob of gross. Not sure how hard it is to work fast food, but these people aren't good at it. Gross fail. read more

There's not even a close second to the Double HipBurger anywhere! Including Five Duds - and it wasn't smashed up in a ball of aluminum foil! Their bun is so much better too. I tried my wife's garlic parm fries and they were just as good as similar ones I've had at higher end casual dining restaurants, but much less expensive. The closest fries to these are the ones I had at HopDoddy's Burger Bar in Austin, TX. I tasted some of my wife's nuggets too! Watch out CFA, yours are now in second place. Their ChickSauce is like nothing I've ever had. Reminded me of a kicked up Yum Yum sauce. The HoneyQ reminded me of CFA sauce, but not as processed tasting. I think they make the sauces from scratch, because they serve them in cups. Next time, I'm trying the chicken sandwich. We happened on to this place after a visit to the nearby Doctor's Care. The look is sleek, modern and HIP! As a vegetarian I was hoping for more selection for the non-meat eaters but totally understand, after all this is a burger joint! Anyhow, we went through the drive through. The attendant was super thorough and courteous. There was only one car in front of us but he must have had a huge order because the wait was quite long. My daughter LOVED the burger and said it tasted super fresh and nothing like nearby fast food places. The fries were soggy but still good. Overall I think if you want a quality burger and don't mind waiting, this is a GREAT spot. If you're a vegetarian and good with grilled cheese, you will be happy too. read more

First things first, the food is fantastic. No dispute there. However, the service needs some work. Showed up for lunch today and the drive-thru was wide open so I figured let's do that. Order my food (3 sandwiches and an 8 count nugget) and pull up only to get a bag missing a sandwich. That's fine no big deal, but after waiting another 15 minutes for this sandwich and holding up the line (now filled with cars) it starts to become an issue. I've also had problems with sauces being forgotten, wrong drink, etc. Point being, if you're going to have a drive thru that's one way in and one way out it's got to be efficient and this one just isn't. Wont turn me away because the food is great but I shouldn't have to double check everything I get whenever I'm going through the drive-thru. read more

Went and got burger combo. Got home took one bite of burger all pink inside. Fries were cold and soggy and they threw the burger on top of the fries I'm sure making them even more soggy. No phone number to make a complaint only email address and no response from email I guess unless you want to make a catering order. This was my second time going here. I've had my eyes on this place for a while now as they started out as a food truck and it was recommended by a yelp friend. I'm always down for a good burger, so when we found ourselves at Conestee Park with my parents and sister's family I had to make a lunch suggestion and this place was it, of course. By now, I think, my family is starting to trust me more when it comes to food choices ... I hope. I thought it may be packed, and even though it was busy inside we were able to find parking spaces without a problem. Since there was a line we had time enough to look over the large menu on the wall to decide what we wanted to try. We ordered 2 HipBurger meals (one double) and an 8 count of Chicken Nuggets with ChickSauce for our boys. We sat at the long high table so we could all fit. The nice gentleman who rang up our order was quite patient and friendly as we had 3 different orders for our families. We never felt rushed and an employee was constantly cleaning empty tables. Our food came out all at once and we dug in. Oh man, this is definitely in my top 4 burger places in the Upstate now! Juicy, delicious burgers on potato buns, I believe. I think it would be even better if they toasted those buns. Most surprisingly of all were the chicken nuggets though. I've always had mediocre chicken nuggets from fast food joints to even classier places, but these were absolutely scrumptious, so much so I wanted to nab them from my own boys; alas I only took one. Haha! Dipped in that ChickSauce those nuggets made my taste buds sing. The fries are quite alright, but not perfect. My sis and niece got the parmesan fries and they added a bit more flavor. We did end up ordering the Strawberry and Salted Caramel milkshakes separately, because I was curious to how they would rank with the rest of their offerings. While the shakes were thick (good start) they did not include fruit pieces or other textural substance, so while I would not call it a plain milkshake, I suppose it still kind of was, but yet it was enjoyable to drink. I don't think I have the right words. I would order them again if I was in the mood though. Anyway, so glad I was able to try this new burger joint with my family and everyone very much so enjoyed their meal. Regarding the pricing, I think it is decent and not overpriced; when comparing to Red Robin per sé, for the same amount of people that we had ordered for, HipBurger is about 30 to 35 USD cheaper plus drinks are included in the meals. I know I probably say this quite often, but maybe it's a good thing I don't live in the Mauldin area (especially right behind the restaurant as there are townhomes there) or I would be lunching/dining here at least once a week. Tried this new spot today. Inside was clean, but nothing unique or memorable. Had the #1 combo with a chocolate shake. The burger was small , but tasty with a really fresh bun and toppings were very fresh. Fries were shoestring , but not fried as done as I prefer ...definitely not golden brown, very light in color. Shake was unremarkable. Fast food is not my thing, but I'd say this burger joint is between Wendys, and Five guys, for a bit less than Five guys and alot more than Wendys. I think I'd much rather pay a buck more for 5guys or save 3 at Wendys. I'm glad I tried it, but was unimpressed overall. read more
