We came around 4pm on a Sunday and there wasn't anyone dining in, so we got seated right away. I was in awe of how pretty the restaurant was, so the host sat us in the corner with the pretty signage and artificial cherry blossom tree hehe. The menu is very big, which can be a bit overwhelming. We decided to stick to our usual order, short rib/bone marrow fried rice and crispy chicken fried rice, but decided to try the shaken beef fries as an appetizer. The food came out really quick, since it was just us there at the time. The shaken beef on the fries were very tender and just melts in your mouth! When we packed our leftovers, you can see the juices from the beef spilling out lol. My bf gave me some of the crispy chicken skin from his bowl and it was so good; you can hear the crunch when I bit into it! My short rib/bone marrow fried rice was amazing as usual and very filling. We agreed that the food tastes even better when it's served fresh! We both enjoyed our drinks; sunset (mango hibiscus) and sparkling passionfruit calamansi. They have so many drinks that sound so good! Matcha, tea, fruit tea, milk tea, coffee, dessert drinks, and so much more! Our waiter, Duy, was very friendly and provided us with great customer service. We appreciated him checking up on us and making sure we were content with our meal. I would love to try their other dishes, but I keep coming back for the same thing haha. Maybe I'll try something new next time!

Flavor profile was good esp the garlic noodles and garlic steing beans, they were not too salty. Sadly the loco moco beef patty was a bit too firm and dry. Not enough gravy. Service was good. Someone made sure we put on name on the list when we were waiting at the door. A server check on us every once in a while. Took a while to get more chopsticks and the paper check. Ambiance was great. Not too loud. Spacious enough for groups to be apart and not too close thay you bump into others. Cozy. Up to date. Clean. 1 unisex bathroom.

Other than a few items coming out less than warm, (and yes I'm not talking about the items that come out cold already) all of us really enjoyed everything! Big problem though, the service. Waiter is very much not attentive to anyone. Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. He never checked in on us, and we were charged 20% gratuity since we were 12 people. I don't mind auto-gratuity, but when the service is nonexistent, it really doesn't sit well. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. Another addition: charged us twice for sea salt cream that we didn't order, and tried to say that we did order it.

Each and every time, we left frickin happy as a clam. The menu is simple- there isn't a grand number of 100 dishes, but that just means they have the means to focus on each individual dish as a whole and make it with care- and boy do they. Every dish is so delish, and the pho isn't made with MSG. I don't think anything there is. Sorry to you MSG lovers but I promise this place won't disappoint (if it does I owe all of ya'll a free bowl of Pho). Jokes aside, this little bistro is nestled in The Plant shopping center, one of my favorite plazas to go and probably would be satisfactory if I was a non-local coming for travel. Parking's a little crazy, but that's because everyone goes there. The way it's decorated inside is SO adorable and well-intentioned. You'll love all the cute little trinkets, wallpaper, and lights. Very chic and expressive, yet comforting and sophisticated. The service is professional, attentive, and friendly. They also have a variety of cool drinks and caffeinated drinks to pick from as well. Safe to say this is officially one of our go-to spots.

Unfortunately, this visit left me a bit disappointed. When we walked in on a weekend afternoon, several tables were still dirty from previous customers, which didn't create the best first impression. It also seemed like the staff waited until more people left before cleaning multiple tables all at once, rather than keeping up with them throughout service. The food itself was decent and overall tasted good, but the iced Thai tea was extremely sweet. My mom and I barely drank any of it. I was hoping for a better experience this time around, especially since I had such positive memories of this place.

If the dish is not spicy, it just isn't worth eating IMO. Dining with kids typically guarantees no spice level and that is simply depressing. While she is occupied with school, I took the opportunity to satisfy one of my many cravings. This lead me to Must Be Thai. With a solid 4 star rating and nearly 2500 reviews, I took a leap of faith and detoured from my normal go-to eatery. Our party of 3 adults arrived right before the lunch rush and we were seated immediately upon us signing in with the tablet. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Menus were provided and the staff went right into trying to take our order. A simple request for more time was obliged. Offerings you will find are sharable appetizers and a list of foods broken down into specific regions of Thailand. Lunch: *Anchan Lemonade (Butterfly Pea Flower) x2 *PAD SEE YOU [Calamari] *PAD THAI [Prawns] x2 *GREEN CURRY [Chicken] *Single Serving of JASMINE RICE [[Spice level here is apparently not an option. Dishes are made without spice unless the menu states heat. An assortment of chili condiments are available upon request to remedy the lack of heat.]] Food was absolutely delicious! The best item during the meal was the pad thai. This was so good we had to order 2. The noodles were cooked well- still having a nice amount of chew to it. These managed the thorough coating of the pad thai sauce without making the dish mushy. Shrimp protein was an added $5 fee but the portions were plentiful. We went with the green curry due to it being described as sweet and spicy- the perfect balance in flavors. The curry is automatically made at a medium spice level but on Thai terms- be advised this may be too spicy for the average person. The green curry was enjoyed by all and I would easily order this again. Pad see you was good, not as good as the pad thai, but still very delicious. While other reviews note this dish as being too sweet, I didn't notice since I put a good dusting of the dry chili powder on my food. The anchan lemonade deserves a little bit of the spotlight. This drink is 100% recommended due to it being refreshing, beautiful on the eyes, and sour as any lemonade should be!! You won't find a sugar packed cup of color liquid here. 5/5 stars for Must Be Thai!!! Pricing is definitely pricey and I only wished the portions were a little bigger. But!! Everything is made fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and the staff is killing it in the kitchen. I'm a fan!!

Everything was super affordable though, which was a plus.

Making the reservation was a tad difficult since the my did not respond to my email or inquiry from their website and had to call. We arrived for our early dinner and was seated promptly. The place slowly filled up as the night went on. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and entrees. Raved about dishes were their Belgium fries, mussels, and the chicken dish. Most of my coworkers ordered the shaken filet and rice. I had the short rib. Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. They also have a nice cocktail menu. I don't drink but all of my coworkers had a drink and they all seemed to enjoy their drinks. Service was prompt and courteous. We all had a great time. I would definitely return here again.

The dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. The overall ambiance was also enjoyable, making it a nice spot for a dinner out. Unfortunately, the experience took a concerning turn at the end of the meal. Our bill came out to $86.42, and I handed my credit card to the waiter. Within seconds (thanks to my card alerts), I received a notification that $103.92 had been charged. When the waiter returned with the receipt, there was no mention of any discrepancy. After waiting a few minutes to see if it would be addressed, I brought it up myself. The waiter appeared flustered and then claimed he had accidentally charged me for someone else's food. That explanation didn't align with the itemized bill I was given, which made the situation feel questionable. He assured me that it would be corrected and that I should see the adjustment in a few days, which I'll be watching closely. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of transparency and the fact that it wasn't proactively disclosed is what left a bad impression. Being overcharged without explanation -- and having to catch it myself -- is not something I expect when dining out. I'd consider coming back for the food, but I'd definitely be more cautious when it comes to the bill.

It is a tiny restaurant nestled in between CVS and another business, I forget what. But there is a tree blocking their signage and the additional small stand-up sign barely draws enough attention to the location. Restaurant is small, but the service is prompt and friendly. You order through a QR code on the table and all mobile devices ordering from the same table will have their orders consolidated. Beef Udon stir fry is tasty, but as many have said, on the sweeter side. Loooooove the texture and chew of the udon noodles. Very springy, almost like korean rice cakes or gnocchi. Sake chirashi bowl was delicious too. Would be nice if the wasabi was on the side. My daughter loves sashimi but can't handle when the wasabi touches the fish. Too spicy for her. Freshness of the fish is good. It's not the luxury cut of salmon, but the quality is still very worthwhile. Can't go wrong with Cali Roll, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls (fried egg rolls). Kids gobbled them right up. My bestie also ordered a sizzling plate which she finished just as quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND this spot for small get togethers, party of 5 or less. They may not have much in sushi variety, but what they dish up, they serve with pride with modest prices. Cheers to the sweet woman who gave our kids lollipops after their meal. Very family friendly.
