we ordered the honey walnut shrimp and wonton noodle soup and the soup was ok but the shrimp was overly greasy/oily. we had one piece of the shrimp and asked for it to be taken back cus it tasted so bad and the manager said that since we tasted it you can't get a refund since we had ONE piece. she also mentioned how if she were to take it back she would just serve it to a different customer if we didn't touch it. so you would give someone else our food even tho you dropped it off at our table?? how were we supposed to know it tasted like shit unless we try it? so even if they deliver us dog shit we can't have a refund bc it we tried a taste... posted a before and after pic of our food to show we literally didn't eat that shit. the food is ass and service is ass never coming back read more

Sadly, the food was a huge disappointment, the flavorless wonton soup had a raw looking paste as a filling instead of the usual ground meat. The duck was mostly bone and the bbq pork may have been from the day before because it was cardboard dry. The visit was made worse as I waited for my food and others who arrived after me were served first; not a good feeling. As I waited I couldn't help noticing the staff looked unsanitary. Authentic! Decided to try this place out since we were bowling in Riverside and was craving HK style cuisine. Attached is a photo of our order. Suffice it to say, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of every dish we ordered. When the food came, we ate! Everything was very good! I am personally not a calamari person (I would have preferred the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings) but since it was my son's birthday, he got the Salt and Pepper Calamari. Our best dish was probably the Chow Fun with Black Bean sauce. It is the one of two dishes we finished. The other is the Mongolian beef. The beef was very tender. The sauce has the right sweetness to it. The other item we finished was the Hot & Sour soup. With most restaurants that make Hot & Sour soup, it's either too vinegary or tastes like it came out of a can. The soup we had was very well balanced and actually tasted very good - without the weird aftertaste. Those who like this type of soup would know what I mean. Oh, refills for drinks are free (including milk tea). Overall, had a wonder experience eating here. Well over 99% of the patrons are Asians (good sign of authenticity). We'll be back as an alternative to going to Rowland Heights. read more

The first time i came here, i had the salted pork chops, though i was eyeing their crispy pork. My first visit was pretty great. Service was fast, the food was good. Ordered their lemon tea with passion fruit and learned their lemon tea is free refills (without the passion fruit flavor) which i adored. Sadly, i did my math wrong so i didnt have enough change at the end for tip but left what I received and said id definitely be back once i did have money. I really wanted to try their crispy pork next time because $19 for a plate is a good deal and me being filipina, i wanted to see if it was a good lechon alternative! Came back this time with my son. A little more busy than my first visit. Ordered the crispy pork. Received it lukewarm (the fat on it was already white and not translucent). It was perfectly crispy but it tastes like their roasted duck which is sweeter in taste. Wasnt bad but, i prefer my pork salty and not sweet. Didnt mind it wasnt warm since i know they were busy so we ate. Usually well eat half of our meal dine in as to try it when its hot and fresh, then well pack up the other half to have as leftovers. It being busy, i wanted us out quicker so they can have our table sooner for bigger parties (worked as a waitress for years so i get it)...no more than 30min, especially because we parked in one hour parking. I took off a star (3.5) because my son and i ended up staying there for an hr and 30 minutes. For that whole hour we were there however, we were forgotten. Other parties came in after us and left before us...some being a party of 5! Now i dont like bringing up race but i really felt that the waitresses overlooked my table because there were two of us but more importantly, i noticed them being more attentive to the customers that spoke their language. There were two waitresses on the floor and both were helping out the tables who spoke the language and take outs. A better strategy would have one handle nothing but take out however that wasnt the issue. The issue was me asking for a box, them telling me one moment and then me watching them help all the other tables in a more friendly manner, never getting back to me or even checking up on us. I noticed they would look at my table but they didnt seem to care that we hadnt touched our food (the leftovers we wanted to pack) and that we were just on our phones. Every time i made eye contact id ask for a box and still nothing so we sat there waiting for our box and check. One waitress even came up to my son and told him he didnt touch his food and then left without asking me if we needed anything! We finally got our box but it didnt come with the check. At this point i had reached my time limit with parking and i cant afford a ticket so i paid what i could (i wouldve needed change but wasnt about to wait around and risk a ticket i cant afford) and left. I was about $3 off and felt bad i didnt tip again (which is why i needed the change) however, at that point i was fed up waiting and watching other people get faster service. Food is good but if i DO plan to come back...id try not to come when theyre busy. read more

We had beef chow fun and shrimp wonton soup. Both were excellent. Chow fun was not too greasy. Portion size just right. Just the right amount of onions and beef. We ordered House Special Fried Rice, 2 Item platter which we chose Roast Duck and BBQ Pork, the House Special String Beans, and Fried Dumplings. All was delicious and generously portioned. With tip we spent just under $70.00. The staff was very friendly. We will come back, especially once the new movie theater, (across the parking lot), opens for business.
