After messaging through Yelp, we confirmed our appointment for my daughter at 1:30pm and I gave the owner my contact information as requested. At 1:00pm the next day (day of the appointment, I messaged again and told her we are eating next door and we'll see her at 1:30pm. She messaged back..."sorry, but that appointment is already taken". Really? The excuse they gave was that I never confirmed. She said I needed to do it through the app...which she never told me. Nor did she call or text me to let me know, if that is their procedure. She then offered a 2:30pm appointment. No thanks. Appointments are made for a reason. We had things to attend to later in the day. See screenshot of us agreeing on 1:30pm. They need to get better with the customer service. Boutique nail salon or not, you need to leave a good impression, which they failed to do.

So, so disappointed by this place, especially because I thought I had found my new spot in Miami. Everyone here seems so nice and friendly! I decided to treat myself to a manicure and regretted it. My experience here was one that truly upset me. I called on a Tues not realizing that they were closed to make an appointment but actually did hear back that day which I appreciated. They made an effort to still maintain appts despite not being open for business. I made my appt and let the girl know that I wasn't sure exactly what service I required bc I'm not familiar with anything more than just a standard manicure and gel. I called the next day about 30 minutes before my appt to let them know I was going to be 10 min late. Instead of having me just come in, they moved my appointment to 30 minutes later which was a bit of an inconvenience bc I had some thing later, but I wanted to be accommodating given that I wouldn't be able to be at the exact time of my appt. I get there on time for my new appt and I'm told it will be about 10 minutes waiting. 45 minutes into my new appointment time, which was 30 minutes after my original appointment time, I had still not been seen. Cannot imagine if I had made it on time to my original appointment. I expressed frustration because I had a commitment later and they told me that they might not be able to see me if I had a time constraint. This was extremely frustrating, but I rearranged my plans in order to stay since I was already there and had spent at this point over an hour working with this appt. While I was waiting I showed the owner what I wanted - few images to give her an idea of the design and then 1 to show her the shape. I told her that if it was too expensive given that I'm not working, I would go with simple gel. She said that what I wanted would be acrylics and told me that the price was $65 (over double gel), but I decided to go for it. The entire time I was waiting, the couple that was there was yelling across the salon to each other to a point where everyone else in the salon was looking at each other. When they left everyone breathed a sigh of relief and the people who worked there were talking about It and how uncomfortable it made everyone. I was frustrated that instead of asking them to keep their voices down and not disturb everyone else in the salon, the workers chose to instead to make everybody else uncomfortable around them. Finally started getting my nails done and when the technician asked the owner, who had explained the price to me, for white to do the details, the owner came over and told me that it was more to do a design. I asked her why she had told me a price before when I had very clearly showed her the designs that I wanted and all she said was that any salon would tell me that a design is extra. I said I understood but that I had specifically asked her the price for what I wanted and she had not given me an additional price that she was now telling me. At this point I already had the acrylics glued to my nails and didn't really have a choice because what I was paying for was half done. If I had to get a solid color which as you can see from my pictures is not too different from what I have gotten with gel, I would have just gotten the gel which is a much cheaper option especially given my circumstances. She did not offer an alternative and basically left me with no choice but to get a solid color. I was very overwhelmed by the situation overall starting with how late it was, having to move my plans around, and how uncomfortable the previous guests had been and now being faced with no choice but to either pay more or not have the design that I had half already paid for, that I quite literally started to cry. When I tell you that the entire salon (including a guest that did ask me if I was OK) could tell that I was crying I am not exaggerating. However I am also not exaggerating but the only person that offered any type of acknowledgment was a nail technician who just gently told me it was ok. Everyone else at the salon IGNORED me, while I sobbed, NEVER apologized for the confusion or offered any type of alternative. Just that it was normal to be charged more for a design, which she knew I didn't know and never told me from the start. The worst part was, I got home to see that both my polish change on my toes and the acrylics themselves, which again, were a design and shape I could have gotten with basic gel, were poorly done. There is no excuse for the way they treated me and I would have gone back to have them fix something that cost me more than I could afford had I felt more comfortable, but they made me feel truly terrible there. I had such high hopes since everyone had seemed so sweet, but ignoring a customer clearly distressed and on top of that doing a terrible job on the nails is one that I cannot excuse. I truly wish they had been more empathetic and tried to work with me on a solution instead of being cold toward me.

I came here after coming across their page on Instagram and I have to say that I recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you Blanca for the amazing nails. I will definitely be coming back.

That I ask and the video is what I got so disappointed

I would not recommend this place for the price that the charge I'm aspecting a beautiful work they removed my gel-x that I got done in San Diego for 35 dlls that look incredible purple wt unicorn effect because I have one broken and put new set 125 that how much the charge me for remove and put new set they look nothing wt I asked for really upset. Over charge for a really bad job

New nails done with GEL-X extensions.

Love this spot! So pretty inside and welcoming. Got my nails fixed and I am in love! The staff is very nice and great to talk to. My nails were a mess and needed some love, I am so so happy with the outcome! Unfortunately I live in New York so it will be awhile before I come back, but when I do visit Miami Beach again, I will absolutely be coming here!

So, my husband found this place online while we vacationing in Miami at Fontainebleau Hotel. Can I say we were sooo amazed by the professionalism and service! These young ladies really know how to treat you, the care and the smiles just made it a pleasant experience. They turned me on to a new nail color line called DND...my pedicure was amazing! My husband was quite happy with his pedicure as well, we're in Miami a couple times a year & will definitely be back!!

5 stars given where it is deserved! It is very hard to find such a good salon in Miami and let alone in Miami Beach. From the first experience with booking an appointment, to the way they greet you. Great service, products, and price point! I got the Gel X for the first and I'm very happy with how my nails came out. I came out with booking my next two appointment ! Highly recommended!

Beautiful gel + acrylic mani with pearl chrome finish

New to Miami Beach, and a bit fanatic about my mani/pedi routine, I came across C&C Nails on Yelp, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical at first given my experience at another nail salon but C&C not only didn't disappoint, it was one of the best gel + acrylic natural (ie my own nails) manis I have ever gotten. My nail technician was Veronica who is frankly an artist through and through. Her technique is flawless and her attention to detail is amazing. On top of the beautiful manicure, I opted to add a pearl chrome finish and the results are just beautiful. Carolina, the owner of C&C, is so wonderful to engage with, super nice and accommodating. It's a wonderful local business and we will be coming back.

Brittle nails that I had to put a clear top coat over & praying they don't fall off.

I showed the sweet manager my reference photo and asked what the best way to achieve it was. we chatted and she said, "Apres" while pointing me to one of the nail techs whose name I wish I caught! 11/24/24 2PM mani -- she was meticulous yet very efficient. I was in and out for both services in about an hour! Incredibly satisfied and although I'll only come back for nails, I'm excited for my next visit. I can't stop looking at them lol The only things I'm confused about/would like clarification on as I want to know exactly what I'm receiving so I can ask for the right service: Apres doesn't have Anais listed as a provider, I don't remember seeing any Apres polishes (tbf I didn't look super closely since I knew I wanted OPI), and the set of gel tips was not from an Apres box set. It was my first time receiving this style but have seen friends get it done in Manhattan where all the criteria was met. My tech didn't speak much English, I only know Bosnian for now, and my nails were looking great so I didn't question it while there! *updating to 5 stars after a very quick and informative response. I came in for a dip powder manicure with removal of my previous dip. At checkout, I was charged more than expected. I politely asked what the additional charge was for, and instead of explaining, both the manager and technician immediately became defensive. The manager immediately said he was only responsible for charging what the tech claims the service was. The technician claimed it was for "shaping" my nails, even though she had only lightly filed them in the same shape they already were. I was a bit taken aback by their reactions, but said I understood and was just asking them to explain. After reviewing their price list, I noticed the shaping fee was only listed under acrylic services, not dip powder. I went back to ask for clarification. The manager sighed, snatched the price list from my hand, said he was going to show me where it was and scanned almost the entire pamphlet and finally pointed at "shape" under the "acrylic" section and raised his voice to "say it doesn't MATTER" when I explained I did not get acrylic nails. The manager blamed the technician for the charge, while the technician blamed the business's pricing. Neither acknowledged that the fee wasn't listed for the service I received or that I had never been told there would be an additional charge. The situation escalated unnecessarily. I never refused to pay, demanded a refund, or accused anyone of wrongdoing--I only wanted an explanation. Instead, the technician insulted me, threw $5 at me, suggested I "needed medical help," and repeatedly implied I couldn't afford the service. She then told me "EVERYONE pays additional for shaping, why should you not?" Instead of acknowledging her role in this and suggesting I was at fault. I wish I had just left, but I was so taken aback and processing that I could not think straight. She turned to the manager and said "give her a refund since she's clearly here to just take my money. I don't want her money, I don't need it like she clearly does." After refusing to acknowledge me, the manager then told me that if I wanted a refund, the technician would first have to remove my manicure because "this is America, nothing is free." The entire exchange happened in front of a salon full of customers and was humiliating. My anxiety was on high, fully questioning myself and what I did wrong to elicit such a vitriolic confrontation over a question. I turned to look at the ROW of people staring at us from their pedicure chairs and quietly asked if I had been unreasonable and thankfully the two ladies closest to me immediately said "no." As silly as it sounds, I needed this confirmation because I still cannot make sense of what happened and why they acted the way they did. Mistakes and miscommunications happen, but treating a respectful customer this way is completely unacceptable. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.
