Was staying at the Eden Roc and this was the closest nail salon. My daughter and I went and absolutely loved this salon. Manicures came out fantastic so no issue there. The people who worked there were so warm and kind. They offered us wine and champagne. Everyone in there was laughing and happy. I will come back to H&M every time I am back in Miami. so i'm visiting miami for 4 days and wasn't able to get my nails done at home.. OH how unfortunate, so i needed my nails done badly, the 1 star that i did give this place is for the receptionist, she was pretty sweet. the nail lady whom i did not get her name, but she was an older woman i believe older than every other worker, she did my nails TERRIBLY. i only wanted regular polish, mani and pedi, not asking for too much. this woman did my nails so bad that i literally just wiped them all off, she brushed her foot against my feet WHICH WERE DRYING and didn't even bother to check if it was messed up which it was. i left this place completely unsatisfied with my MANI AND PEDI, not too sure if she did me like this because i am a tourist but i will never step outside of my state to get my nails done again, thanks for ruining it for everyone else lady. if i could show you guys pics i definitely would, just take my word for it you may want to stay away from this place or just don't let the older lady do your nails. read more

I've been a regular client for over 2 years and have a go-to gal who does my nails. I have been pretty pleased in the past with the service and work, with the exception of the lack of organization and the occasional lateness even though I have booked an appointment (I never walk-in). This time a different gal did my work because my regular was busy with another client (even though I had booked an appointment). This was fine except that the next day, the acrylic came off. I walked in a few days later to ask if I could get it fixed. No one could help me and I was told exact words 'you can walk in tomorrow, no problem, we are never busy at that hour'. When I called before I stopped in, I was told no that she was completely booked! I asked why wasn't I booked an appointment yesterday-you told me I was able to walk in! I was not given an answer and was hung up on even after I explained that I was a regular customer and the job on my one nail came off the next day! No problem solving or apology was offered. HM-is this the way you treat your loyal client of 2 years? I think I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Fantastic nail salon--quality of the service, treatment by employees, experience, and price--everything is top notch. I went to have a gel manicure yesterday and was so impressed by it that I decided to have a pedicure, too. I left loving both (and my technician). Not 24 hours later someone steps on my foot and ruins my big toe. I went back to the salon (with no appointment) to see if they might touch it up. My technician took me immediately and redid--not just fixed--the toe and then refused to let me pay for the touch up! I very rarely right reviews, but this salon really is just top-notch and deserves to be recognized for it. read more

8 of us went in for combo, mani pedis. While the ladies were friendly, after waiting more than 30 minutes to dry, each and every single one of our nails were ruined. In fact 24 hours later, while I write this review it's still "wet" and can easily scrape off. We do a better job at home. They also clipped 3 of us who were bleeding, while they bled polished their nails then kept the same nail polish for the next customers. Unsanitary! read more

I went to this salon a few times, because its closer to me than my favorite salon. My experience today was not satisfying at ALL. As I was getting my pedicure done, I watched 2 un-satisfied customers come back into the salon complaining that the polish didnt dry after 2 hrs, bubbles in polish...little did I know I would be in the same boat. The girl doing my pedicure couldn't paint my toes properly. She was telling me it was the color....she had to take the polish off my big toe 3 times. I never got to see it, she just kept messing up and trying again. As if this was her first time painting nails. The girl doing my gel-powder refill, was actually brand new to the salon. She was very inexperienced, but thorough. The problem was with DRYING the nails....not only in my scenario but with the other 2 people I saw come back in. After polishing, she put an "oil" on the wet polish to help dry fast. Then I sat under the dryer for 8 minutes...still not dry, one got a smudge. They fixed it, then back under the dryer 4 more minutes, still not dry. And ANOTHER nail that has now been under the dryer 16 minutes still wasn't dry and got smudged...they fixed it. Back under the dryer. This could have went on all night. I left after 20 minutes under the dryer AND their "drying oil"...and within an hour of leaving 3 of my nails are completely messed up. I don't know what they are putting in the polish or the "oil" but it was extremely frustrating and TIME CONSUMING....So basically I left there after speeding $85 for my toes and hands, both of which need re-done. Needless to say, I am not going back again. read more

I got a regular manicure at $17. And it's one of the worst manicures I have ever gotten so far. The women there are very unprofessional. My polish is so uneven and the shape of my nails are ridiculous! I owned a salon in NYC and we did a lot of manicures/pedicures for print work and I will tell you, this by far is not a place I would return too! read more

My sister in law was in town and we wanted to get a pedicure so we came here. I got the mani and pedi. When the woman was doing my nails she asked me if I wanted my cuticles cut. She then asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed. Ummm...yes and yes!!! What the hell? The woman who was doing my feet did not even scrub the dead skin from the side of my big toe and I had to ask her to. I feel like if I'm coming to your salon you should be the expert and know that if my nails are being done my cuticles need to be cut and the nails trimmed and my feet scrubbed. Clean them up! That's why I'm here. My conclusion is that the employees are extremely lazy at this salon. They did my manicure while I was getting a pedi in the pedi chair!! This is lazy treatment for customers who are coming to be pampered. My sister in law was also dissatisfied with how her pedi turned out and said that it did not last long. We were going to complain but didn't and decided that the service is just lazy and unprofessional and we wouldn't return. read more

Intolerable Rudeness! Not worth it.... So I am a local, and I referred a friend here whom just landed from NYC and literally went straight for a Mani-Pedi. Why? L Because as a local, I like to support local business, especially clean and modern spaces such as this salon. However, I left my home promptly upon her arrival at the salon, on foot, as I live within walking distance. To my dismay, they had given away the chair she had tried to reserve and apparently confirmed with the rude lady upfront.... Now, I am also a fellow local business owner; and I can respect a first come first serve basis, especially at an hour so close to closing time. HOWEVER, the attitude, and the ease of dismissal of my patronage- especially when I had walked there on foot, for a mile & with a smile, and a girlfriend with a nice bill payable to them in her newly manicured hands and feet... inexcusable, no matter what the price point is... I'm staying at the Fountainebleau nearby and needed a gel mani. The spa at the hotel wanted $90 for removal, mani, and automatic gratuity. No. Found this place within walking distance and they could take me right away. With tip (at my discretion) $50. More expensive than my home salon but just as good and not a rip off. Salon is clean and quiet and they did a great job. Highly recommend. read more

Do not get a wax here. I had had a good experience in the past but the last time I went they waited until I was on the table to run out and then have someone else come in and tell me the wax wasn't working. This time the women was super hesitant and left large sections with hair. The wax was not pulling properly (and in fact other times was so stuck she couldn't pull the paper). She proposed tweezing the rest but was hesitant then too (a couple of seconds per hair which made it so much more painful). I finally requested someone else finish the procedure. Another person came into the room and I explained my issues. She didn't check the wax at all. Essentially she said "oh well she is doing what she can, this just happens (it could be your hair or skin or the wax). There is no one else to finish." So she finished what she could. Then the technician didn't even finish putting oil and powder everywhere she waxed. I pointed out to her areas she had missed. No other apologies or anything. They charged me full price and didn't say anything more when I was paying. I've never had a wax this bad in my life. And what a poor response from management!! They didn't seem to care I was unhappy. Went to get a gel manicure for my birthday, making an appointment a week in advanced. When I showed up I had to wait 20 minutes even though my manicurist was just sitting there. When I was finally given a seat, it was another 5 before she showed up. While it took me a while to choose my color (not sure why they didn't show them to me as I waited) when I asked my manicurist which color she thought was best, she brushed it off and said, "whichever." During my manicure the lady spoke in spanish to her coworker, not realizing that I speak it as well, and was saying how she was "basically out of here already," and "not even paying attention." I found this incredibly rude by what she was saying and her speaking a language in front of people who cannot understand it. She barely painted my nails, doing such a bad job that the side of my nails are completely naked. My nail has already chipped and it hasn't even been a week. Gel nails are supposed to last! Would not recommend this place for manicures. read more
