Mind Blown! I seriously did not expect the service or the quality of food when I entered, Hobos. I am confident, that once I come back and enjoy their fried chicken, I will be bumping them up to 5 Stars. My BFF and I went shopping at the Dillard's Clearance Center in the Mid-Rivers Mall and needed lunch. We did a Yelp search and picked another restaurant down the street. Once we parked and started walking, we changed our minds and strolled down Main Street to Hobos. When we walked in and saw how packed it was, we knew we made the right decision. It was so full, that we had to be seated at a communal table at one end and another couple was seated at the other end. We were promptly greeted by our server and she took our drink orders. When she came back we let her know that we were newbies and this was our first visit. She took time, explained the menu, told us customer favorites and her own personal favorites. My BFF knew what she wanted, since she is doing low-carb dieting. She ordered, a Chef Salad with Bleu Cheese Dressing. She loved it. The dressing was super thick and the presentation of the salad was picture perfect. I was torn in many directions, but opted for the Cajun Chicken Salad. On the recommendation of my server, I went with the Smoked Chicken and I am glad I did. The chicken was full of smokey flavor and the Southwest Ranch Dressing was another perfect choice. In addition to the salad, I enjoyed a side of Jalapeño Hush Puppies. I wish all hush puppies were this good. The table next to us got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had to bite my tongue, I was tempted to ask them if I could take pictures of their plates. It looked so good, I will be making another road trip to St. Peters very soon.

Well known spot to the locates and for a good reason. We got pizza that's one size fits all. Chicken wrap with fries and fish nuggets with two sides. Known for fried food. Super sweat service girl both on phone n in person. Never been inside this spot super fun with TVs and bar. Will return for more !

    - Food was extraordinarily delicious, reminded me of home cooked goodness. They didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked but it came out juicy anyways thankfully. The chipotle mayo was addicting and the fries were so nice and crunchy. The food overall was perfect 10/10. ‍- Service for how busy it had been was really quick, we got a table almost immediately despite there being a line to get in. However I will note that the sign in sheet thing was a little confusing we weren't sure if the line was to sign the sheet or to be seated. Our server did her job, nothing above and beyond but good enough. - I love the decor selection and cleanliness of the place over however our cup rims looked as if they had been through WWI. Also the prices are extremely low which is surprising because my meal would've been worth like $18 at any other bar and grill.

Stopped in for a quick bite after attending some holiday vendor shows on a Thursday night. We did not have to wait for a table, but Hobo's was hopping this evening. While they were out of the special(smoked meatloaf which I hear is delicious), I order the pork steak dinner with twice baked potatoes and macaroni salad (carb overload)! It was wonderful! This pork steak was so tender could cut with my fork and had a great smoked flavor and very large! The twice baked potatoes were so full of flavor and so creamy and the macaroni salad was also top notch! This meal was so affordable and was actually enough for two meals! Large portions and great food and service. Many people were there watching the sports that were on the TVs. It had been a long time since I had been to Hobos and can say it is still amazing! Why did I wait so long to go back??0

I see gizzards as the Sunday special, can liver lovers have an alternate choice? ❤️

It's been years, but I did once see a liver special. Once.

Has Hobo's at the Legion brought back krinkle cut fries yet?

No. They were lukewarm and soggy yesterday.

I work remotely, so I decided to find a place with wifi that I can finish my work week while relaxing (Chillaxing) a bit. I came here on Friday mid-afternoon and was not disappointed in the least. The bartender (owner?) was friendly and helpful. The in-house Vails Brothers provided AMAZING wings. The Happy Hour was a cherry on top. This place is big with plenty of seating options. Large garage doors are opened up when it's nice, and it provided a lovely open air experience--and plenty of outdoor seating if you don't want a roof. Someone had a dog, so I imagine they are dog-friendly (outside). This was terrific, and I'm glad this is in my neighborhood. Thanks, Chillax!

This is a service dog, and we'd like to sit with everyone else." * Manager on duty: "If you have a dog, you need to sit in this room, because we have a kitchen area in the main dining area." * Me: "Okay, but this is trained service animal and we would like to sit in the same space as everyone else." * Manager on duty: "These are the food and beverage regulations." ... he is now saying something even more asinine than before, clearly not understanding that the ADA exists for inclusion purposes. We did not want to argue with this man any further, as his attitude and lack of knowledge was already frustrating enough. The Manager on duty turned on the lights in the room, and then had the audacity to leave the room, while my boyfriend was left taking chairs off the table so we would have a place to sit. We stayed for about 45-minutes, ordered food and had a beer. Prior to us leaving my boyfriend's mom (who frequents this place and even helped them stay open during COVID with purchases and donations) went to have a conversation with the Manager to help clear things up and educate him a bit... he responded to her with, "There are no exceptions, a dog is a dog." To the owners of Third Wheel Brewing: I am truly saddened and disappointed in the lack of empathy, education, and understanding of individuals who need accommodations, and use service animals. I would HIGHLY recommend you provide additional education and training to your staff about ADA regulations, and the treatment of patrons in relation to such. While at times, certain accommodations are acceptable, this one was isolating and intentionally exclusionary. Please do better.

Lines are clean and cared for, and beer selection is clearly curated by someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about craft beer. They are also a brewery and generally have several of their own beers on tap. They do multiple size options at good prices, so you can really take advantage of a nice day out doing some tastings. They also have some canned / bottled beer and do crowler fills. Bar: it's a brewery. Bar is limited. There are a few good liquors available, mostly whiskey and bourbon, with some ciders, seltzers, and possibly a wine or two available. This isn't the place to get a mimosa or a Bloody Mary. It's a brewery. Food: again, they're a brewery, not a gastropub, and do not have a full kitchen. Food is limited to Friday and Saturday (I believe), but is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Owner seems to continually try to improve selections, and on Fridays during lent has started doing Fish Frys (which were exceptionally good!). If you go in expecting bar-snack type food, you won't be disappointed. There are full restaurants within walking distance. Atmosphere: there are TVs and games, but none of them are loud and in your face. Tables are plenty and well-spaced / distanced, with comfortable seating available. Patio seating is also available. Which is great, because they are all fantastic. Here's the thing...staff is absolutely genuine. My experiences with the staff have been overwhelmingly positive, but my impression is also that they wouldn't hesitate to put an end to poor behavior. Be nice, be civil, and behave...or be elsewhere.
