Been here many times. Everything is always good here. This time I had the fish sandwich. And it was awesome. Staff are always friendly and attentive here.

Nice Italian spot, with a small variety of solid Italian and other dishes, especially worth it for the great cocktails. Very classic Italian restaurant, older crowd and can be a wait for food, but service was really great. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of cocktail options and holiday flavors, all of them were interesting and delicious! The Apple Gorgonzola salad is really nice, good portion and really liked the dressing. The pasta is pretty standard, though I wish they had a few more classic pasta options. I also found the bread pretty good, but wish it came a bit warmer or at least room temp. Overall it's a solid Italian spot in the area, but not really a must try

My fav spot in Oakmont! Their takeout is just as good as eating in which is hard to find. My current favorite is the blackened cacio e pepe but i also LOVE their blackenzola my husband got the blackened chicken Alfredo and it's never bad. The bucatini noodles are the BEST

Nice atmosphere, great wood and interior design. Good and service were great !!! Definitely would return to try other dishes . I had the lasagna and Caprese salad both were delicious

Turkey Club Sandwich with Fries and Cole slaw

This was a nice sit down place with an older crowd. But the food is really good and the portion size is very generous. The chicken salad sandwich was really good. Full cashews in it and big chunks of chicken with grapes. The croissant was good and airy. Not super heavy. It comes with Cole slaw which is super cabbagy and I did not enjoy that part of my meal. But great sandwich and yummy fries. The pork chop was pretty good, not dry at all. The mashed potatoes were smooth and good but pretty basic. The turkey club sandwich was large and decent. I would just comment that it might be heavy on the bread. Overall I would definitely come back and try other dishes. Saw a salad go by and it was so large you could split with someone or take 1/2 home.

Everything was great; food, service and ambiance. Beans & greens and pasta Fagiol soups are consistently good. Apple Gorgonzola salad was delicious with a light dressing. Everyone enjoyed the multigrain bread that was served. No dessert this time, but we will be back to try the gelato and cannoli!

    Veal Parmigiana

Bland. Overpriced. Service was adequate with a hint of arrogance. Small gnat (or 2) would not leave our table for most of the evening. Water glasses are too small and were spotted. Appetizer of stuffed peppers was overpriced for two small peppers. Zero taste or heat. This seemed to be the standard, possibly for the above average aged crowd. Veal was smothered in sauce and soggy. Carrot cake was giant and the only redeeming part of the visit.

Great place to eat. We took my cousins there for dinner and we all had a wonderful meal. I had the veal parmigiana and it was super good.

My default when I don't feel like being disappointed…read more @thepubat333 is that easy "let's just go to..." and no one argues it because it just...works. There's enough going on menu-wise that everyone figures it out, and I'm not exaggerating-every single time I've been there since they opened, someone at the table orders a French dip. Every. time. It's basically part of the experience now. Also if I see pierogi, I'm ordering pierogi. That's just who I am. Could've taken down the entire plate without blinking but I shared like a respectable adult (meanwhile mentally tracking which ones were supposed to be mine). It's just a laid back, neighborhood spot that doesn't try to be anything crazy and still ends up being exactly what you wanted. Fun fact: my friend and I once prank called from their landline, the owner immediately called back, we answered like nothing happened, and yeah...the phone was no longer an option for us after that

Bar seating was almost full with only a couple seats. Heard good things about their pizza too. There's free parking in the lot (although small). Shout out to our bartender Ange! The black and bleu shrimp was absolutely amazing. It's got blackened spice and has this creamy sauce that makes you go dip for more (I need that recipe honestly). If I had some bread, I'd definitely use this as a dip lol. We got the thin crust Sicilian pizza to share. The pizza unfortunately was very wet and kind of soggy. I think they could have waited to let it rest for a few min before serving because it would especially show when we were separate the slices and try to take one off the plate. I don't usually want my toppings and cheese to just slide off the pizza. Also since we were at a bar w/ some of the games going on, we wanted wings and got their crispy whole wings in a dry spice rub. They were pretty big wings and well seasoned -- not too spicy though if that's not your vibe.

We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!

It's a nice enough setting, though we appeared to be the sole diners at 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening. The menu consists of mainly small bites (appetizers/tapas) and some entrees. We elected to go with the small bites to share and ordered the hummus, bruschetta, and shrimp. All were tasty and quite enough to fill us, though I will ask the inevitable question that I see happen at restaurant after restaurant -- why, oh why, do you INSIST upon setting out a disproportionate number of xxx (in this case shrimp) for your guests? I swear I think you do this on purpose for the pleasure of seeing your guests fight over the remaining xxx (again, shrimp in this example)... Sigh... it just seems unnecessary. The shrimp came 3 to an order for 2 of us... Do you not see an issue here? They were tasty. Whatev. I give up.
