Late Sunday breakfast on the outdoor patio with our dog, a cappuccino for me, fresh squeezed OJ for my spouse and all American breakfast x2. Service is friendly and attentive, and the patio floor was clean and well shaded with enough space for dog to hang out while we dined. Not a view location, but a nice respite from Main Street on weekends.

It was Valentine's Day 2026. We had a room reserved at the Tiburon Lodge and I didn't know they had the Tiburon Tavern inside the lodge. We had reservations at a French restaurant down the street that was supposed to be a three course meal, but it was very crowded so Tiburon Tavern made room for us. We were so delighted at the ambience and how spread apart the tables were compared to the French restaurant down the road. The meal was a 10 out of 10, and I would recommend it to anyone in the future!

We had a great dinner and sat outside. The food was delicious and hot and our server was very attentive and helpful. We had the Tavern burger. It was cooked perfectly.

My family decided to try out a new breakfast/brunch place and picked this one. This place is big with both inside and patio seating. We were approached and seated at a table for four inside. We were given a brunch menu as it was still a little early to serve lunch and a bit late for breakfast. I have skimmed through their menu beforehand so I knew what I was getting. We ordered crabmeat eggs Benedict, ham and cheese omelet and corned beef hash and eggs. Their crabmeat Benedict was delicious and the poached eggs were runny just the way I like it. They use fresh crabmeat and it was plentiful. Corned beef and eggs was nothing to really rave about as it was how it should be, corned beef with eggs cooked your way. When it was time to order the omelet, the server insisted they don't have omelet on their menu. We have to point it out to her that it was clear as day that it is actually on the menu (peep the picture of the menu I will post on their page). With that squared away. The food is okay and on a pricey side. The place can accommodate large amount of people with their many seatings. They do keep checking in on us and see if everything was OK and refills our coffee. But I didn't get a friendly vibe from the start though (nobody welcomed us, just asked how many and was taken to our seats) until we were done with our food given that we were the only ones here in the place that day. They handed us our bill, we paid and that was it. No goodbyes, no come again soon. We just parted ways.

Tiburon Tavern is a standalone restaurant that is connected to The Lodge motel, and also serves as the main breakfast place. The food here is good, and the menu even offers up lobster and chicken and waffles. Their lunch and dinner menu also looks excellent, though we did not get to try this time. 1. Wife loved the steel-cut oatmeal and yogurt parfaits - sweet, filling, and healthy. 2. I opted for the hot breakfast entrees, with my favorites being the sausage and brie omelet, chicken and waffles, and classic American breakfast combo with scrambled eggs. The only ding is the hash browns tended to be more soft and fluffy and not crispy enough. Fried chicken was excellent however - hot and crispy outside and juicy inside. 3. Welcoming ambiance with wood decor everywhere, and gotta love their background music from the 80's/90's which should automatically deserve +1 star. I remember we had good times back in the day, where kids played and socialized together and not stare at phones all day. But I digress...

I love the fact that it's adjacent to the hotel since we were staying there. We decided to do dinner here, I got the New York steak with mashed potatoes. The meat was soft, flavorful, the mashed potatoes seemed boxy but not sure, they were good but not sure if they are instant or actually made there. We sat outside and enjoyed the brisk weather. The main waiter wasn't as polite as the second server who brought us the outside heater. Drinks were nice and strong.

Lobster hash: delicious. Lots pieces of lobster, nice hollandaise, soft cubed potatoes, and brioche toast. 4.5 stars

Casual restaurant attached to the hotel we enjoyed brunch and happy hour at. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Cost to worth it rating: 3 (most entrees $20 or low $30) Opentableable: yes Return worthiness: sure Highlights: - Lobster hash: wasn't expecting much, but it was quite delicious. Lots pieces of lobster, nice not too heavy yet smooth hollandaise, soft cubed potatoes, and brioche toast points. 4.5 stars - Crabcake benedict: savory crabcake with good texture and crispy English muffin which added to the dish instead of just being the vehicle. 4 stars - Chicken and waffles: real fried chicken pieces with crispy skin--not tenders like some try to get away with. 2 triangles of belgian waffle with whipped cream. 3.5 stars - Bubbly options: had a decent amount by the glass, few half bottles, and bottles - Patio: was able to sit outside in front with umbrellas - Happy hour: every day from 3-6 so includes weekend and drinks for $8 which is a real discount Midlights: - HH sliders: for $12 only came with 2 and no fries Lowlights: - Location: on the main street all cars drive through so not much of a view - Drinks took a while to arrive Better than I expected and enjoyed our brunch.

5/5 carlos was a great bartender and the staff was so accommodating to our staff party. thank you so much for everything you did for us we absolutely loved it and had a wonderful time.

Tiburon Tavern is cozy and polished. I had a drink Aperol Spritz. If you walk around maybe to go to the bathroom, there's an area with couch and fake fireplace. Some historical pieces and items. Tiburon is homey like Napa and North Bay is nice to visit. Old time old town. The spirit is good.

Tiburon is a funky little city. We arrived just around 3pm after hiking at mount tam. Most of the restaurants are closed from 2:30-5 for the close out of lunch service to dinner service. That made pickings slightly slim compared to another time when all would be open. We finally landed on Tiburon Tavern after wandering around. It was quiet and service just a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry so that's ok. We ordered a couple drinks and shared the platter which was plenty for us and even had leftover. Generous portion. Drinks were OK not great. We each got a valentines special drink; I got the First Date and my guy the Burning Love. My drink was a twist on the French 75, it wasn't balanced though. Quite bitter almost so no desire for another once it was complete. I think it's a solid spot in the midst of a lot of upscale places to choose from. It's good, offers a range of choices like salads, steak, pork chops, burgers, etc. Accessible menu for a variety of diners. Slightly high price point but you are in Tiburon.

We had the escargot, steak tartare, sole, clams, skirt steak, and hanger steak--purely for research purposes, of course--and every dish was excellent, each clearly doing its own thing. The steak tartare was confident and restrained, seasoned with intention and balance, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. The sole was delicate, the clams briny and assured, and the steaks were distinct enough that you could actually taste why both cuts belong on the menu. We were seated outside where it was windy but there was a heater above the seat thank goodness. The prices on their posted menu have not been updated, and food prices have gone up since. Fries - came with three sauces, the dijonnaise was ok but the bearnaise was just ok. The portion was really tiny for $7, which was a little unexpected. The fries tasted like they had been fried again before serving. Not sure I'd order this off the happy hour menu again Mussels with Pernod garlic butter - this was good! We ordered two servings. The bread was alright, it's a little disappointing since SF has such good bread everywhere. The mussels were fresh and the delicious sauce was not too buttery. The drinks were ok - they can do any cocktail with their well alcohol for $8 which is a good deal. Service was all over the place. The server was very nice but everything was extremely slow. When we arrived they weren't busy at all so it was very puzzling why everything took so long. They also forgot an order of the french dip sliders we placed when we ordered another round of mussels. When they started to get busy for dinner, we gave up and just walked in to ask for our check. I think it was a pretty good deal overall, but with the ups and downs with service, I may not go back.
