Had to stop in, it had to be done. This is a very casual bar and has a very tropical outdoor seating area. Didn't stay all that long but again, it is a must for any motorcycle enthusiast. Plenty of shopping I'm the area so stop in and take a load off. read more

This place was recommended to us by the gentlemen at the motorcycle rental place in Miami. We would never have found this place on our own, it sets back behind a parking lot on Duval Street. We were one of those biker couples that came for dinner prior to going on our glass bottom boat tour on a Tuesday night. We didn't have a lot of time and was looking for something good and fast. We sat inside, but could have easily sat in the open air seating area. I had the chili dog and chips. It's a deep fried hot dog, was different but good. The chili wasn't an after thought, it actually tasted good. My husband had the bratwurst, can't really screw that up. Service was good and I could see being a return customer. If you are coming for beer, music and fun it is a good place....but if you are looking for food go somewhere else. I had a burger and it was very average. Onion rings were very greasy so I couldn't eat them. My husband ordered a pull pork sandwich and could not take more than 2 bites from it. It was dry and the chips on the side greasy. I'd never recommend this place!! Over priced drinks and not much atmosphere if any. I had nachos and the were horrible....completely tasteless!! I'd give them less than 1star if I could!! Additionally, our waitress never even asked how our food was and they weren't even busy. About 5 minutes after I commented about the tasteless food, she asked if I wanted to look at the menu. Great cheap yellow beer, great bartenders (Bryan & Carly) and quite possibly the most interesting clientele we have met to date. Dr. Don was a wealth of wisdom to the two of us, and Kim and Justin were so funny! we didn't eat here, but i tried the Mary mix. Oh jeez, that delicious little cup is a meal in itself. one of the places you "must go" when in Key West. As a tourist trap, it's crowded with photo seekers and tourists. Has had great bands and big crowds. (I find it bar-smelly) Has indoors and outdoors, great t-shirt souvenirs, but really nothing "fabulous", just bar/shacky. read more

Hogs Breath is a typical Key West bar. Nothing more, nothing less. They have an indoor bar, an outdoor bar, and they claim to serve food. I'm pretty sure what they serve wouldn't be classified as food, so just go for a drink. It can and does get very busy, so getting a drink can be an daunting task at times. Stop in the t-shirt shop and drop 1000 bucks on your shirts so you can have a really cool shirt.....yeah OK. $3.50 for a domestic draft in a 10oz plastic cup. Typical Key West prices. Sort of a tourist trapy kind of place, live music all day and night, we had the fish tacos they were not bad.

Went to Key West to visit my friend who works here. Not sure what to expect. Actually loved the place!! Ate here twice. The pulled pork sandwich & the burger are delicious. Good sized. Not too pricey. Love the different bars w/ different atmospheres. The back bar has plenty of space & is chill w/ large TVs. The front bar is smaller but next to the band & raw bar. Cameras are on the front bars so you can wave to your friends who are jealous you're in Key West! Check out the store for cool t-shirts/clothing. Bought my husband a couple shirts. Soft & well-made. Everyone knows about the Hog's Breath Saloon & now I know why. A great local hang-out which is very tourist friendly. Have Kim make you a drink then sit back & relax!! read more

We ate lunch here with 6 adults and 5 kids. Had separate tables, which was fine. :). The waitress handled our kids table, ranging from 12 to 16, very well. We had fish sandwich, fish tacos, fish and chips, bbq pork sandwich, burgers, etc. Drinks were hogaritas and hog wash. All very good. Service was good as well. Then, we purchased shirts, of course. This review is for drinks only. We stopped in this spot twice while staying in Key West a few weeks ago. I would say this is a classic cool Key West experience. The kind of place to hit wearing flip flops and a baseball cap. Super casual and laid back. Funky fun atmosphere and kitchy Key West nautical decor. On both visits the bartenders were nice and attentive. Mid-day it was busy but not uncomfortably packed. We found seats both times after a short wait and lap around the bar finding someone getting up. The beer selection was good and the live music was excellent as well. We will be back! read more

6.50 beers during happy in key west? Obnoxious male bartender at the walkup bar. I found out a few days later that they ran a duplicate credit card charge a few days later. No one answers the phone there. Had to get visa to credit me back. I will still go there but cash only and will keep walking if I see that bartender or if its happy hour.
