Can't recall the name of this, but the dressing is awesome! May be "Screaming O".

Return or not return? Return for sure. Best happy hour prices around by far. 2-5pm and after 9pm. Great service, and for the price, Happy Hour or not are among the best. Why only 4 stars, fish is not that of a 5-star review but for value it's more than acceptable.

This restaurant is amazing! My favorite go to item is their famous Monica Roll (pictured). It is over the top good! Inside is a lobster mix, shrimp tempura wrapped with soy paper And on the outside is tuna, avocado, and topped with deep fried onion Straws! It's a meal in itself! By far our favorite roll! Great service and the fish is always fresh!

My boyfriend and I went to Hokaido Sushi to celebrate our second Valentine's Day together and we left Hokaido Sushi satisfied and with happy stomachs. Originally, we were going to go to Mr. Shota but decided that we wanted to go somewhere closer and try out another new sushi place. It is safe to say that we will certainly be coming back again in the near future! Upon entering the restaurant itself, I adored the small spacing that created a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. If I didn't know any better, I would've assumed Hokaido Sushi was an amazing hole in the wall type of place that we were lucky to find. I adored the decorations and the service alone was flawless as everyone was making sure we're enjoying our time and our food. The food alone left me with a smile on my face, especially with the freshness of the sashimi salad. The spicy salmon roll was phenomenal, my boyfriend especially enjoyed every single piece he ate. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was an interesting concept undoubtedly! The flavor alone was nice but the different textures were an experience to eat. For the two of us, the portioning of the sashimi salad, sushi combo, and crispy rice with spicy tuna was an amazing portion to fill both of us! I'm looking forward to the next time I come to Hokaido Sushi and I hope more people will recognize how good they are.

The place is in a really nice neighborhood and is very clean. I love sushi so I was excited to try! I was seated fast! Cucumber salad was 10/10 The tempura was crunchy but flavorless so 4/10 The veggie crunch I didn't like it made me nauseous! 2/10 The others were delicious! The chef was very nice !

Went in for lunch at 2 pm and got to have their happy hour menu. $6 for the 8 piece rolls and clam miso soup, and some sushi. Had it at the sushi bar so it comes from the chef straight to your table, no waits and pretty much everything you expect. Clean and well kept and the chef was friendly, having long conversations with the customers. Will return soon.

Took my friend to one of my hole in the wall spots in town. My parents and I have been coming here for awhile. She wanted sushi and I was craving a good Japanese experience. Muchi muchi roll - shrimp tempura with a slice of tuna and coleslaw type situation that is phenomenal Dark horse roll - Hawaiian roll - chef Jay hooked it up with blue fin tuna on top for the weekly special Double hamachi - A few other rolls that I forgot. Special roll b/c the chef love us Drank some of imported Japanese beer with chef Jay. Had a few appetizers, needless to say it hugged my belly lol Definitely going on the blog.

A nice size restaurant with plenty of seating. We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday and we were then only ones there. We sat at the sushi bar and we were greeted right away and were told we can order when ready. We got a small crab app/salad with our serving plate. Everything we ordered was delicious. The wish was fresh and it was a good portion. The salmon kama was also cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed the place and would come back when I'm eating light. It's so hard to pay per roll when there are so many great AYCE places.

Mood: Sushi is always a good choice. My second time getting take here (will dine in soon). They are also one of few with a dine in Happy Hour! Can't beat that right? NO! The space is always clean when I come to pick up my food and such a friendly staff from the hostess to the chefs. Time to get to the Sushi! Bikini Roll 8/10: great flavors and fresh salmon and vegetables insides. Love my ass roll 7/10: enjoyed it but the topping was very bland. Japanese lasagna Roll 10/10: love a baked roll. So much sauce and flavor that definitely doesn't even taste like sushi sometimes. Red Mountain Roll 6/10: a little too much crispy topping for my liking but has decent flavor. Think can be a little more mild to spicy taste or even a sauce portion. Grand Canyon Roll 10/10: great sauce, size, and toppings. Will fill you up with flavor and taste. The food is really good and the Wasabi portion is just right if you're a mixer with soy sauce like me. The side of sauces they provide are too their too.

My husband had been craving some sushi, so we stopped at Hokaido. Our server was nice and friendly. I'm so happy Im Vegetarian/ Vegan, by the time we got home (10 min drive), my husband had an upset stomach and the runs. Pretty sure we won't be back.

My boyfriend is a huge ramen lover, so after moving to Vegas, we decided to give this place a try without expecting much--but it completely blew us away. It's now our absolute favorite weekly spot! It's owned by an authentic Japanese chef, and the difference is clear from the very first sip of the broth. The meat-based broths are not salty at all, just incredibly savory and clean. They use all-natural ingredients, so unlike other places, I never feel bloated or sluggish after eating here. As someone who is extremely particular about food ingredients, I was deeply impressed by their Veggie Ramen--it is the definition of pure, clean flavor. With 9 different types of ramen on the menu, there's something for everyone. The side menu and desserts are just as spectacular: Chicken Karaage: Incredibly moist on the inside, with a subtle hint of curry flavor that makes it the absolute perfect pairing with a cold beer. Hand Rolls ($3.99-$4.99): If you want something refreshing on a hot day, I highly recommend these. They are packed to the brim with incredibly fresh ingredients and offer amazing value. Traditional Japanese Butter Corn: You also have to try this--it is cooked to a beautiful, smoky char. Pure perfection! Shaved Ice: They even have shaved ice for dessert, which is the perfect sweet and refreshing way to wrap up the meal. Eating here always leaves my stomach feeling clean and satisfied, which is why we keep coming back every single week. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic, and clean Japanese food in Las Vegas, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Love this place

I ended up purchasing: Tonkatsu Donburi, $13.75 prior to tax- This bowl was pretty big and really a portion for 2 people. I really wished I had ordered one of the mini donburi bowls instead since my husband ended up deciding he didn't want to share my meal and ended up ordering food at another vendor in the food hall. The bowl had a nice large piece of chicken katsu, plenty of rice, egg, onions, shredded seaweed and a sweet soy sauce based sauce.
