Hi! I'm back again for the 84836227827 time haha! My boyfriend and I tried some new things on the menu and they were outstanding. Pics down below. We finally met the other chef officially her name is Fu and she is a sweetheart! Of course Maria like always is great and takes care of everyone. What I love most about this place besides the food is amazing the people who work here actually care about taste, presentation, and their own artwork. Ugh just love this place!

My husband and I chose Sakura for a weekend date night. Upon entry we were immediately warmly greeted by staff. The restaurant isn't very large-- maybe 7 to 10 tables to serve 20 to 30 people at any given point. We were on the earlier side of dinner, so we were one of only 2 or 3 parties dining in. My husband ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu which he said was good but just wasn't as spicy as he would have hoped for. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen without mushroom. I found it to be good ramen. For dessert we decided on the Double Berry Japanese Shaved Ice after seeing another table order it. While there weren't many diners eating in during our dinner, there appeared to be a steady stream of takeout orders. While the shop is small, the staff were friendly and food came out quickly. Staff were attentive without hovering. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Sakura.

Probably one of the best off-Strip ramen spots in town. Although, with my go-to add-ons I.e., corn and extra egg, it comes to +/-$26. Pretty steep for a bowl of ramen, but quality comes with a price I suppose. I've dined here once and have gotten an order for pick-up also once. Just a heads up: This place gets b u s y.

If you are a ramen enthusiast, Sakura Ramen is an absolute Las Vegas gem that you have to visit! Ramen Master Hideto Kawahara has brought his incredible craft to this new location, and you can even read his inspiring story right there on the wall. My family and I used to frequent his Kashiwa location in Costa Mesa once or even twice a week with Hiro, and I am so happy to say that the same perfection we fell in love with there is exactly what you get at Sakura Ramen. Everything we had was spot on--the Sakura Ramen was phenomenal, the karaage was perfectly crispy, and it all washed down perfectly with a cold draft Sapporo. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and great to strike up a conversation with, making the whole experience even better. This is officially my new must-stop ramen spot every time I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and stop by to try it for yourself!

Best ramen broth I've ever had this was the first time I've finished a whole bowl Of ramen broth. It had a light and savory flavour , not too rich. The beef was good, I could have preferred a softer texture. Perhaps not the best restaurant for vegetarians looking to get some protein intake as they do not serve Tofu. I also don't see indicators for gluten free food so you will Need to check with the chef if they have gluten free items. This is a small restaurant but it wasn't too busy when we got there. Get on the waitlist so you know how long you have to wait. We didn't have to wait too long only A few minutes.

We came here after finding out our usual spot was closed permanently. Sakura ramen has a good variety of ramen, bowls, apps and dessert. We had Maria as our server, the service provided was impeccable, enjoyed the small conversations. We both ordered the Sakura Ramen and spicy garlic edamame, seasoning of the garlic edamame was on point. Ramen was delicious. The restroom is single stall unisex since the store itself is pretty small itself. The best part..the to-go bowls they have separate the noodles and the broth. To me..this was really cool. Definitely recommend this place to you reading this.

Food: this ramen just did the job. I ordered the hakata ramen with egg and corn at $2 extra. I also ordered extra noodles cuz I am a bit hungry. Service: it's a sit down place so you just take a table and they have like 6 ramens to choose from. Some California hand rolls. Some side dishes as well. Ambiance: first thing is the music, I think it's either jPOP or anime sound tracks from all over. I definitely heard one of the openings for Naruto. Just a quick bite to eat before doing my evening errands.

We came here on a Monday at about 245p. It's a small and cozy authentic ramen shop with a chef direct from Japan. The shoyu bowl was delicious! The Sakura broth was so good. We got to start off with a curry bowl and chashu bowl and we ate those as appetizers until our ramen arrived Everything was great!

Delicious food and authentic vibes! We've tried Sakura Ramen twice and had great experiences both times. They have rich broth that is flavorful without being too oily (which is often my gripe with other ramen spots) and the noodles have great texture. Sakura Ramen also offer a ramen set special every day from 12pm-5pm that comes with a half chashu bowl, half curry rice, gyoza, or karaage. We've had the chashu bowl and curry rice and they were full of flavor! I was very impressed with the presentation too. The food comes out quickly and all the servers we met were very kind and happy to answer questions. I definitely recommend and plan to be back!

Recently we gave Sakura Ramen another try and things have changed for the better! I love their Miso Tonkotsu ramen. It has that rich, flavorful, hearty broth with egg noodles, which is my kind of ramen! Not sure if this is permanent since they have a sign/picture of it on the wall, but it's not on the actual menu. I really hope they serve it year round, because this is the one big reason for me to come here! On our last visit, we tried the Matcha and Red Bean Shaved Ice for the first time. Very interesting that they import the ice from Japan. When they brought it to our table, it was tall and looked like a very big serving. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to finish it, but the ice was finely shaved and it was really really good! Light, not too sweet and perfect for sharing. Customer service is friendly, but sometimes they forget to refill the waters. Please don't ever take away the Miso Tonkotsu ramen!

I've been here a few times and this last visit I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen but with thicker noodle. To be honest there's no difference in the size of the noodles. I thought it would be al dente but it was too soft for my liking. The broth was yummy. Now the karage was delicious. So tender and I order the 2 piece which was perfect. I also asked for a glass of red wine which the server said they didn't have any so I OPT for the plum wine. Strange but the worker put ice in my wine. I've never had it served that way as it's usually chilled. Still good. Overall, service was good and personable.

This was our first time visiting this ramen eatery, and it was quite good! The interior is quite small but has cute and casual decor with a Japanese theme. It was a bit warm inside on the evening we visited; I'm not sure if their air conditioning was working properly. The server was very attentive and friendly and explained that the business is actually a Japanese chain. We tried the chicken karage and gyoza starters which were quite good. The gyoza definitely seemed handmade and not simply a frozen mass produced gyoza. I had the shoyu ramen which had a delicious and flavorful broth and tender pork with the associated standard toppings. I especially liked the thicker noodles, and there was a good quantity of noodles as well. Save room for dessert! We tried the cafe mocha parfait and the double berry shaved ice. The shaved ice is huge and definitely suitable for sharing. The parfait was delicious and in true Japanese style was not overly sugary or sweet and featured a nice coffee flavor. Both were perfect for a warm evening! Definitely visit Sakura when you have a craving for ramen!

Amazing service! And food was delicious definitely recommend. The music was great and so was the ambiance.

Fortunately, the wait was only about 10 minutes, which was surprisingly quick. I ordered the soft-shell crab, baked green mussels, and BBQ ribs with steamed rice. My son ordered the yoshu ramen and fried rice. The food came out fairly quickly, but I noticed that the baked mussels never arrived. When I asked our waitress about it, she said the kitchen was backed up. However, after waiting more than 30 minutes and already finishing the rest of our meal, it felt like the order may have simply been forgotten. What disappointed me most was the lack of an apology. The waitress even asked if I still wanted the mussels at that point. I was ready to cancel the order, but Kyo stepped in and tried to make things right. Thanks to his efforts, the mussels arrived about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, when the mussels finally arrived, I was disappointed again. They were prepared very differently from the baked green mussels I'm used to getting at restaurants in Los Angeles. They were quite spicy, which wasn't mentioned, and the flavor just wasn't what I expected. After waiting more than 40 minutes for them, they definitely weren't worth the wait. Overall, the food was decent, and the restaurant was busy and energetic, but the service mishap and the disappointing mussels left me with mixed feelings about the experience. I do appreciate Kyo's effort to make things right, as he was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating situation.

Customer service was on point from start to finish, and every dish came out fresh and hot. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and were honestly impressed across the board. The gyoza ($6) was perfectly pan-fried with a great crispy bottom, and the filling was packed with flavor. The dipping sauce had just the right hint of spice to bring it all together. The takoyaki ($6) were hands down some of the best we've had at any restaurant. Super crispy on the outside, and when you bite in, the inside just melts and oozes out, so good and full of flavor. The squid leg karaage ($10) was a great starter. Squeezing fresh lemon over it and dipping it in the mayo and spicy sauce combo made it even better. Definitely recommend this one. We were especially excited about the soft shell crab ($9) since it's hard to find it served on its own. It did not disappoint... perfect crunch, great flavor, and the dipping sauce really elevated it. The tonkatsu curry ($13) was a standout. The jasmine rice was cooked perfectly, the curry had rich flavor with tender carrots throughout, and the katsu was fried to perfection... crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Easily a 10/10 dish. The curry udon ($9) is perfect if you're craving something comforting...just curry and noodles done right. The udon ($8) had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, simple but executed really well. The crazy dragon roll ($13) was definitely a highlight. The amount of eel on top was impressive, and the roll itself was a great size. Everything from the rice to the flavor balance was spot on. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. Also, the wait was super long to get in, and they were definitely understaffed. If they had all their food selections available, this would probably be a higher rating, but the long weight and lack of menu items was super disappointing.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. Cannot wait to return to Shigotonin!

**Overall: 4.75 Stars**…read more Imagine omakase but with a show. That's what you get here at Kyara Sake Bar. I went to Kyara on a date, but it wasn't the quiet or romantic kind of place I thought it'd be. Kyara had great service but they visit you every few minutes and explain things before each dish and they may cook something in front of you or show you the fish (like the actual real whole fish from the same catch you'd be eating)! When we were about to be served the wagyu beef dish, we were shown the certificate and our server explained all about the cow. I felt like I knew all about Bertha and joked that we just went through her photo album and yearbook. Like how was I supposed to eat Bertha now?!! Aiyahhhhh. Kyara may not be the romantic type of restaurant, but it was more memorable and more of an experience! It had may "wow" moments.

We had a choice for bar or table and we chose table. It was tucked in a corner so it felt intimate for me and husband. Menu was filled with some of our faves and some new things we never tried. Skewers were great esp the Wagyu- it was so good and tender. We enjoyed the agadashi tofu with was one of our faves here. Food was overall delicious and you can taste the freshness of the fish. We def want to come back and experience their dinner specials. Definitely a place to try if you're in the area
