Love this place! Quality donuts, traditional flavors or gourmet they always have a delicious treat you can count on. I have walked in and ordered for my company or to take to clients and the individual working behind the counter is always eager to say don't worry we have more donuts baking in the back. Being busy isn't a bad thing! They are what you expect a typical donut shop to be, five to seven tables with a mom enjoying coffee & her child's face covered in chocolate with sprinkles or powdered sugar. A Field Team Manager of some sort meeting some of his team before getting out in the brutal Florida sun. Tables are clean and everyone always seems happy to be indulging in a sinful treat. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. This location has plenty of parking, it's located in a strip plaza with a Walmart Market at the other end. They do have morning to earlier afternoon hours at least six days a week, maybe seven. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. Recommend the bear claw, it's my favorite! read more

Best donuts I've had in a while! The owner greeted us with a friendly smile. Since they were closing right before we walked in their wasn't much of a selection but the angel cream filled was Devine. Once apple crisp was left for the day so he gave that to me and by boyfriend to try. Place had good comfortable lighting and was quiet. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Was disappointed the first time I stopped by. There not many doughnuts left over to chose from. Didn't purchase anything...but it was after 1pm when I stopped by and they close at 2pm. So...I was out of luck. Returned the following day (Around 11am) and I bought a breakfast sandwich combo, 1/2 dozen doughnuts and some doughnut holes for a friend. My items were fresh and tasty... Their strawberry cake donuts are to die for! They have a great selection of other donuts but their cake donuts and donut holes are a water in your mouth moment. Its a free smell place but you can't just take one whiff, you'll end up with a dozen or so to go!! read more

We eat healthy through out the week. We avoid gluten and sugar, so when the weekend hits our go-to sugar binge is hole in one. The staff is friendly and the space is always clean. The donuts are great, light and fluffy, not dense at all. They also have pigs in a blanket, which are a unique version of a childhood classic. read more

Sadly, our favorite donut shop has lost its charm. From the guy in the front not as happy and pleasant to the crazy price increase (that the other hole in ones do not have). My husband was there before 6am and they told him most of the donuts were bought already. The old owners always had more in the back just in case something like this happened. He was told there was no more and wouldn't make anymore (at 6am!). My husband was able to get two red velvet donuts and there was no flavor. We use to go here all the time and are so sad to see all these changes. We will start driving to seffner or plant city if we really want hole in one donuts read more

Honestly, this is the best donut shop I've been to since I was 13 and worked at a donut shop in Oregon. The flavor and consistency of their donuts is beyond compare! We drive 25 miles to get there and it's worth both our time and money. I got added chicken salad on a croissant the last time as it was lunch and found it delightfully fresh, delicious and filling. The price was good too. The service is just as exceptional as the donuts. Customers are warmly greeted and served with gracious respect. For the best donuts and customer service around, "Hole in One Donuts" is as good as it gets - but get there early because the donuts and pastries sell quickly! read more

This place has ruined donuts for me forever. Now I've become a total donut snob and won't go to the chain donut places because they do not even come close to how awesome Hole in One is. Their sugar donuts and glazed donuts are amazing, light and airy. Also great customer service. The Apple Fritters and Cinnamon Rolls are humongous and so yummy! The house coffee is very smooth and was served at the perfect temperature. We were also impressed with the jalapeño pig-in-a-blanket, which we got to-go and warmed up nicely in the microwave. This place made me wonder if I've actually ever had a donut before today. Fresh and delicious. Me and my snacking companions had a variety of donuts and all were amazing. (Including maple bacon and the seasonal apple crisp)I also had a sausage and cheese croissant which was super tasty as well. In addition to all that goodness we were given some free glazed donut holes and got to sample a fancy flavor they were going to try out. The store itself was very clean and well taken care of, the staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 stars, highly recommend. read more

Went in there this morning, planning to have a great selection of donuts but wasn't the case-none of those pictures of tons of colorful donuts were there-not even close(should've taken a picture) We also wanted a croissant & was told they were out but then heard another customer order one so ended up ordering one. We got 1/2 donuts mostly glazed because there really wasn't much of a selection. We wanted to order breakfast sandwiches but it seemed chaotic so we took the donuts and left. Lust, greed, envy, (sugar induced) sloth...... yep, A Hole In One Donuts pretty much covers the gamut of your basic cardinal sins. I suppose the one redeeming action it does is to close on Sundays. That leaves six out of seven days for breaking every New Years resolution to lose weight or falling off your South Beach/Paleo/Keto/etc diet. They built this right around the corner from my house, and the struggle is real y'all... After having had donuts from their location on MLK, I knew they were an amazing, independent family owned and run donut shop. The difference between this one and their MLK shop is that they don't offer as many decorated donuts, which is fine by me. However if you swing by the MLK shop, you'll see that they decorate donuts as you would find a cake shop. I wouldn't dare to insult them by including Dunkin' Donuts as a competitor. Krispy Kreme comes close but A Hole in One just does it way better. If you're interested in comparing prices, it's just slightly more. This is perfectly fine given that they cannot achieve the same economies of scale, and I don't mind helping a mom-and-pop store succeed. A basic dozen glazed is about $9.99 and it's a dollar more for a mixed dozen. I myself am a purist. I go for a simple glazed doughnut or jelly filled. As another customer pointed out, their glazed croissants are also amazing. Don't tell the French as they may steal the idea because it has seriously reinvented the croissant. Stories are true so try to get here before 12 noon. Although they continuously make them throughout the entire day, it's not going to be as fresh because obviously, they're not going to be emptied out as frequently. There is plenty of parking in this complex that also houses the Walmart grocery store, as well as Tuesday morning. This place is packed on Saturday mornings, when I normally come by. I would be tempted to try one of their egg sandwiches for breakfast, but normally don't have the time. The staff here out front is young, but I've never had anything except incredibly efficient and friendly service. read more
