Turkey sandwich - 10/10
Tammy J.

Ended up at the holland hotel after a nearby establishment seated me and never checked in on me. The wine was very reasonably priced, and the food was good! The hostess/waitress wasn't overbearing, but also made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back to eat there next time I'm in the area.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week from 10-26-24 until 11-1-24 we absolutley loved it! We are from California and have never been welcomed as much as people from holland New York has welcomed us. We have met and made friends for life . The hotel itself is wonderful nice and clean and beds are super comfortable. The bar is great as are the bartenders and food was great we ate there daily the meatloaf ( so good). Sean one of the bartenders is a wonderful person and also has a antique store within walking distance a must see while in holland we bought some marbles from 1800s from him because we didn't have much room in our suitcases or we would have purchased more. We will be back and staying at the holland hotel for sure when we are in New York.. From Terry and Richard Coye

Debby is wonderful! She helped us choose entrees and desserts! Try the beef on week, mushroom burger, caprese salad, banana creme pie, chocolate cake, peanut butter pie, and cheesecake!

We chose to come here to watch a Bills game after we were told how good it was and they were still allowed to have indoor dining. We chose to sit at the bar and even though they had told me they do not take reservations, there were reserved signs next to us. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks and fried pickles to start. The pickles were generic brand spears and they came with ranch for dipping. They did have a decent draught beer menu, as well as plenty of bottled beer/drinks and fully stocked bar. We ordered their Margherita pizza and asked to add meatballs, which was on their list of toppings. However, they did not have them, so we went without. We also ordered 10 wings, hot and wood fired. The food was just awful, the pizza had a crust that tasted store bought and thin, there was very little mozzarella, and dried basil instead of fresh. The wings looked good, but they were so salty, it was like you were eating a handful of salt. We were very disappointed in the food, and the only reason they are getting two stars instead of one is because of the good service we received. If we go back, it will only be for drinks, we would not recommend the food, at least not pizza and wings!

Asain??? It's ASIAN

We went here for my boyfriend's sister birthday. The first thing I noticed on their menu is their special, they have asain beef vegetable soup. Hmmm... I wonder if they meant ASIAN. When the server came and told us about the menu, sure enough they meant Asian lol. I don't trust the taste the food if they cannot even do correct spelling! That to me a bit ignorant! (Btw I'm Asian) Well my bf decided to ordered it anyway. When the soup came it look like an dark oil motor. He still hopeful... in a really short lived hopeful when he spooned the soup and get the overly cooked broccoli, hardly recognized broccoli. Cremated broccoli. I ended up tried it, it was as horrible as the spelling. The sesame oil was overwhelming, beef chewy, broccoli dying... enough said. For his meal he ordered taco and not too great either. I ordered nacho salmon which surprisingly good. After the soup I'm skeptical with the main course but mine ended up good. I ate half and actually took the leftover home. The salmon even though in bit pieces was not over cooked, good flavor and the chips also has flavor on it. If I only based on soup I will give 1 star. The nacho save the day! My boyfriend's sister 's husband said his food is salty.

Sherrie; beautiful, friendly and attentive behind the bar!!

We arrived at noon on Thursday after having picked the boys up from school. We were the only people in the restaurant. We were quickly greeted by a very friendly waitress, who took our drink orders. It's a rainy cold day today, so I ordered "a nice fresh hot cup of coffee". But I got the instead was the bottom of the pot, definitely cold. I understand that they are a bar, and not a coffee shop. So I should've known better than to order coffee. I did call her over and ask her to brew a fresh pot which she did. Grandson #1 ordered the Candy Crunch burger. It's a char burger topped with provolone and candied bacon on a Costanzo roll. It does come with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, but our young man has not yet evolved to a vegetable-eating person quite yet. He truly enjoyed that burger with a big side of fries, and brought half the sandwich home with him. Grandson #2 ordered the very predictable chicken fingers with a side of potato chips. He was thrilled with the big chocolate chip cookie, which came with his lunch. My husband had the Sweet Chili Chicken Salad. basically a very bad chef salad with breaded chicken tossed in sweet Thai chili. Looking back at the menu, we realized that it didn't have any hard. boiled eggs as advertised. That was a disappointment. I ordered the grilled chicken and bacon salad with Greek dressing. Again, it's a glorified chef salad with a generous grilled chicken and bacon topping. I was disappointed to find that instead of fresh tender salad greens, instead I had a commercial salad mix. Unfortunately, it was rather dried out. I wouldn't order this again.

I walk through the doors to an attitude from Tanya saying I was the last person to check in. And apparently she had to stay until I got there. On top of that, the out front unloading zone and parking lot had not even been plowed or treated with salt. Therefore, what a hassle trying to get your luggage in the middle of the night. As everyone knows the brand Wyndham is typically on target however this location is not. For the price of the rooms and the brand was very disappointed, not only with the service but the condition of the room. I will say my bed was very comfortable however, the pillows needed thrown away as there was really nothing left to them as you picked them up they folded into and were all floppy. Zero support! My duvet cover showed a huge rip that had been sewn back together, Underneath the heating unit, there were all kinds of wires that had been spliced sticking out, grabbing your feet when you went by, cloth chair, a huge stain on it, mini fridge was frozen up, coffee pot was dirty, dirt around bathroom vanity faucet, bathroom exhaust fan didn't work at all, peeling paint from the bathroom mirror frame, grout in the bathroom with two different colors, tub drained very slow, towel had someone else's hair on it, bathroom door frame all scratched up, remote control was dirty, and some features not even work on it, wasn't able to connect to Wi-Fi the entire time there. As I missed my dog on the trip, I stopped at the front desk to ask if there were breed restrictions and the cost.... Quickly, the lady rolled her eyes ( same lady that checked me in with the attitude ) and ask what I had, followed by an attitude as to why it cost a extra$ 75 per night for a dog ( keep in mind I didn't ask why ) but she definitely lead on that. She didn't appreciate dogs being there and she said it would be cheaper to leave them at home. She stated that everything has to be taken out of the room and cleaned afterwards. Yes I expected that but the level of attitude I received was very unwelcoming. Perhaps it's time for a career change for this individual as she is leaving a negative impact on this hotel. Can we say " bad apple "? Everyone else here was very friendly. Noticed same bags of trash, set out by the residence for pick up for days. Elevators were a slushy mess in the lobby coming in pretty much the same. Wasn't able to enjoy the heated pool or hot tub due to unruly children running, screaming out of control as they were doing cannonballs....and of course, the parents were doing nothing. Parking was a train wreck as they didn't plow any of the parking lot or parking spaces, therefore it took up a lot more space because people couldn't see the lines and a lot of people had to park at the bank next-door and lug all their stuff across the snowy parking lot. OK now for what I did enjoy. Bed was comfortable and clean, rosemary, scented toiletries, hot complementary breakfast with delicious coffee. Friendly and helpful staff ( except for gray hair lady at the front desk ). Great location for walking to and from on a ski trip.

While the breakfast was just so-so, the coffee was actually pretty good. However, a front desk agent named Tanya completely ruined what could have been a great experience. As a handler of two service animals, I was shocked by her lack of knowledge regarding the ADA. Upon check-in, she asked questions about my specific disability, forced me to sign a "pet form" (service animals are not pets), and aggressively threatened to evict me if the dogs barked--despite them being silent and well-behaved. It created a hostile environment immediately. To make matters worse, my room keys were deactivated four times in two days, and when I tried to book a second night directly through Wyndham instead of Expedia to fix a rewards issue (as Tanya suggested), she was rude, dismissive, and refused a simple upgrade or late checkout even though the hotel was visibly empty. The physical hotel is nice, but until they train their staff on federal law and basic hospitality, I can't recommend staying here if you want to feel welcome.

The uneven wooden floors, and the rough beams throughout the dining rooms is absolutely charming. Today we were seated on the outdoor porch to enjoy the spectacular weather! We ordered a small c&p pizza for our small boys, and a basket of calamari for them to share. Let's just say they're not quite ready for calamari, but the pizza they deemed to be quite delicious. My husband loves their broiled Cajun fish, fry so he ordered it again today. He got the baked sweet potato and mentioned how delicious it was. I went with the Greek Chicken Salad, a sheer delight with Greek dressing as well as tzatziki. The salad itself was built on a base of fresh mixed spring lettuces topped with pickled banana peppers, fresh grape tomatoes, sweet purple onions, sliced cucumbers. The grilled chicken cutlet was cut julienne and was strewn on top. Everything that I love in a salad. The plate was also garnished with a stack of baked flatbread triangles, which were nice and crisp! Two bartenders were waiting on the entire floor, and we noticed that they were busting their running back-and-forth. We applaud their dedication!
