We started our RV purchase journey about 3 months ago with another Dealership out of Orange County. They were nice enough, but just couldn't make the numbers work with our financed Trade-In. Zero Expectations: On a sort of whim (we knew there was a show coming to Mission Valley but our schedule was pretty busy and we kept forgetting about it), we were in the area and stopped by the RV Super show. We walked around for about 45 minutes looking at several models (Travel trailers) with zero expectations. We were about to leave when a sales person named Bonnie approached us. She was very nice, no hard or ingenuine sales techniques, and struck up a conversation with us asking a few questions about our camping lifestyle and what we were looking for. She showed us one of the Trailers that we had looked at a few minutes before and we chatted about the amenities and size that we had been looking at up in OC. We explained our situation, that we had outstanding credit, but had a trade in with a balance and knew that we'd be "upside down" by about 3k and that just didn't sit well with us. Keep in mind, the other dealership also knew our situation and what our comfort level was in terms of making the numbers work and landing at a comfortable payment, but they just couldn't, or wouldn't do it. In all transparency, we knew that it being the last day of the show and end of the 2023 model year that there would be a little wiggle room with pricing, just as there is when car dealerships are trying to move out last years models. So, with our excellent credit rating and a a nice discount off of the sales price they were able to make the numbers work! We are now the proud owners of a new Grand Design Imagine 2023 Travel Trailer. The whole process, start to finish, took about an hour and a half (on site at the stadium). Shout out to the Team: As someone who works in Management and Operations I typically have pretty high expectations of others and this team exceeded all of them! From Michael, the on site General Manager, to Bonnie our sales person with a great smile and fun personality, to the finance Department (Martin? I hope Great guy nonetheless), and George, who familiarized us with a thorough walk thru of the Trailer at pick up time, the process was professional, welcoming and painless. What a winning Team!!PS to Blue Compass Corporate-Save a tree or two and streamline the process. Take the leap from Paper contracts to Digital Documents, you save finance a bunch of time and the planet a bunch of waste. Picking up our new Trailer: We scheduled our walk thru for 10 days later (at the Santee site) and they literally had the Blue Carpet and velvet ropes out in front of our Trailer for a true VIP experience. George walked us though the trailer inside and out (super informative and knowledgeable person), and Bonnie dropped off a welcome basket with thank you note and a smores making kit. The Take Away: My husband and I couldn't be happier. We took it for a test run for the weekend at Santee Lakes (great RV resort-like park) and really love the trailer and all of the amenities. This was a serious trade up from our 14 Ft hybrid Travel trailer to a 26.1 foot beauty that's easy to pull and gives us the total glamping and camping experience we so wanted. We have set up 2 more trips in the next few months and we have full confidence in the trailer that we bought through the amazing team at Holland/Blue Compass RV. Noice!

Our very first travel trailer. Ready to explore the beautiful USA.

We had been contemplating a travel trailer for quite awhile. Stopped in almost two years ago. Did more research, came back and how lucky were we that Bonnie walked up and asked to help. There was a trailer we were interested in but couldn't commit. She kept in touch without pressure at all. The Winnebago Micro Minnie Flex 2108TB was meant for us; it never sold until we were ready. Bonnie Demenge was so professional, helpful, honest and caring. I highly recommend you go see her. The whole team there is wonderful and Dennis, our service tech was so conscientious and kind. Such a great experience for our first purchase. I'll keep you posted if anything changes once we get on the road...lol

    Inside my new camper trailer!

I want to say that this RV center was amazing, friendly and informative. Bonnie Demenge, Wesley the mechanic and the manager Mike, helped me in buying my first trailer. They gave me a good deal and made sure my truck was ready for transport on the day I was picking it up. I felt like family by the time I left.

He greeted us immediately upon arrival and quickly assisted us with fixing our front license plate that lost one of the mounting screws. Quick and easy fix, and no more rattling sound! It's so nice to have a quality and friendly dealership down the street in the neighborhood of Santee. Thanks Saul!

1 STAR -- I WOULD NOT TRUST SEDANO CHEVROLET WITH MY VEHICLE AGAIN…read more Our experience with Sedano Chevrolet in Poway was absolutely unacceptable. We brought our Chevy Bolt EUV to them after numerous warning lights appeared on the dashboard. We were told that rats had chewed the main wiring harness and that the harness needed to be replaced. Because they attributed the damage to rodents, the repair was not covered under our new-car warranty. We paid more than $1,000 for what we understood was the necessary repair. Months later, the SAME problem happened again. This time, we took the Bolt to Mission Bay Auto. We gave them the receipt from the previous repair and asked them to inspect the vehicle and compare what had actually been done with what we had been told. What they found was infuriating. According to Mission Bay Auto's inspection, the wiring harness had NOT been replaced. Instead, they found one butt connector and tape used on the wiring. Think about that. We were told the main wiring harness needed replacement. We paid more than $1,000. Months later, another shop inspected the supposed repair and told us the harness had not been replaced. For a Chevrolet dealership working on a relatively new vehicle--especially an EV where electrical systems are obviously critical--this is beyond disappointing. Had the problem not returned, we might never have discovered what was actually done. I strongly recommend that anyone considering having their vehicle repaired at Sedano Chevrolet get everything in writing, keep every receipt, ask specifically what parts are being replaced, request the old parts back when possible, and consider having expensive repairs independently inspected afterward. We trusted a Chevrolet dealership to properly diagnose our vehicle, clearly explain the repair, and perform the work we believed we were paying for. That trust is completely gone. ONE STAR. If Yelp allowed zero, that would better reflect our experience.

One of the best decisions I made was taking my 1966 Mustang Coupe to Autoworks Restomod/Autoworks…read moreParts in Santee, CA. I've had my Mustang since 1997 so needless to say, I've been to a fair share of auto shops over the years. I was referred to Autoworks Restomod by another classic Mustang owner, and reached out to them through Instagram asking if they'd be able to help with the issues I was experiencing with my '66. My Mustang has quite a bit of aftermarket work done to it such as a 1989 5.0 EFI motor with an AOD transmission, power disc breaks, coil over suspension, custom wheels/axles, and a custom rear end, so it has been difficult to find a shop that could work on it. Even before ever stepping through the door, or meeting them in person, the level of service that I received from them was impressive. They were quick to respond, seemed genuinely engaged with my situation and the questions I was asking, and they were able to squeeze me into the shop despite the fact that they had a full garage of other classic Mustangs that they were working on. When I brought my '66 to Autoworks Restomod, it was barely drivable. I actually had to trailer it over to the shop because the rear ended had blown, and my car could barely drive above 30 miles per hour. From the start, the owner Matt, was personally involved with not only the initial meet and greet and diagnosing of the problem, but he actually was in contact with me throughout the entire time my mustang was in the shop. Thanks to Matt and his teams' thorough inspection and testing of my car, they were able to not only fix and replace the rear end, they also discovered a faulty break issue that could have been catastrophic if left unrepaired, and ended up troubleshooting and fixing an electrical/computer issue that I had been dealing with for over 10 years!! Words cannot express how happy I was the day Matt called me and told me that all of the issues that I brought the Mustang in for were fixed and it was ready to be picked up. I am so happy with not only the level of service I received but also for the quality of the work they did. All of the work was completed a few months back in 2021, and I have driven the car weekly and sometimes daily without any issues at all! This Mustang is my first car that I got when I was 16 years old, and I'm grateful to have it back on the road and running like it's brand new. Thank you so much Autoworks Team for all the work that you did!!!
