My Mom just bought her 1st Motorhome from Holland RV in Santee and she couldn't be happier! We shopped many other dealers and the level of professionalism we received from Brent Lewis and his General Manager, Greg Tackas could not be matched! My Mom ultimately knew what she wanted and how much she wanted to pay and these guys found the RV and made it happen. Okay I am updating my review from when we bought the RV. Not a problem when buying but watch out on the service end so going from 5 to a 1 star. No Bueno. Don't buy from them expecting anything other than buying your unit. They take for ever to respond to anything. They take forever to book an appointment. We already had to have the roof replaced within the first year and apparently they did it wrong. We hired an inspector after the repair to confirm it was okay and he advised it needed to be redone. Took it back and they said nope all is fine. Took it in for slide repair and nothing done for weeks was lied to and told they submitted for auth and hadn't heard back. Called Keystone nothing submitted then was told oh we sent it to extended warranty, but nope that wasn't true either. Pulled the unit to La Mesa RV. YEP roof is a mess the adhesive they used has eroded the roof and causing delamination. Now we are told that it has to go back to Holland for repair because it is a re-repair. Slide is a manufacturer defect La Mesa Rv cannot repair has to go back to Holland under original warranty. Trying like mad to keep it away from Holland but may have to go back to them. Hoping they will do the right thing. Will keep updating here. Maybe they will do the right thing. read more

I can't say enough about the great sales and service we experienced with Holland. Purchased a used 2009 Fleetwood Pulse during a recent stadium event. Ed was excellent at arranging low-interest financing and wonderful to work with. When we went to the Santee location to pick up the vehicle and sign loan docs, Mindy seemed like family by the time we left. She proved the feeling was mutual when the engine light came on within a few weeks. They arranged to fix a few minor repairs we discovered, deliver the vehicle to Mercedes for the diagnostic, and ensure the issue was handled for us. They went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. If you buy anything from Holland RV in Santee..please, please, please think twice. Bought our new 19' toyhauler two years ago and have had multiple issues. Before our first trip out the motorized jack we added on fell apart. Took it in and quickly got it replaced. First trip out, the floor flooded out when the shower water was turned on: the hoses under the sink were not connected properly. I could go on...but it's really kind of sad to report all the issues this trailer had..and continue to..especially with the few times it's been out. Canopy broke within six months..was replaced but the trailer had to sit for over two weeks before they would start the repairs. What's the point if an appointment? .. . Not impressed on the repair guys...they can make repairs but leave the work area a mess. We brought in a clean trailer with empty tanks...toilet had been used and stains were obvious. Ew. Jordan I pray you never need service. I normally review companies only when I have good experiences. But to add to my first review. After failing to put the correct hitch on my truck, after failing to fill the propane tanks like they said they would do, after sending us on our way with a dead dry battery, after having the battery over heatand spew acid all over me, after being told by Holland RV Santee that our campsite was too far away and they were too busy to anyone to us their service department told me to take our trailer to the San Marcos location, mind you my wife and I were in the middle of our vacation. We called Alan Beekman, area service manager at the San Marcos Store. He immediately returned my call heard our issues and sent a tech out. Devon showed up analyzed everything made necessary corrections, replaced the dead battery with a new one, stayed with us until we all felt confident that we were safe. My wife and I went to dinner, returned to the trailer to find that door lock malfunctioned due to a defective toggle lock. About three hours and $200.00 out of our pocket later we were back in the trailer after a locksmith had to drill out the whole door lock. As I drained the grey tank the slide to close that tank did not slide shut. The last two issues are not current service issues unless Santee RV gives us the run around again. However we were told WE have to contact the manufacturer to be reimbursed our $200.00 since it is under warranty. Really! Do not go to Holland RV in Santee. Well it's been almost a year now. When the salesman tells you when you are shopping for a class A motorhome...used...2014...Coachman....that any details you happen to point out will be fixed and that they check everything and even replace the tires if needed when they do their inspections...don't believe it! If he says they'll fix anything that needs it, get that in writing. When you finally sign your contract and the yellow piece of paper that states "No matter what your salesman has promised you, if it aint on this sheet of paper we aint doing it" you will assume it doesn't apply to you. First indication nothing really was gone through was when we got home to fill it with our equipment we found many prescription meds through out motorhome. Found personal medical records from previous owner. Found water damage to slide out...screw heads missing from under side...rusted clean through. I called and left several messages for my salesman to please call me back. Finally went in and sat with office manager/sales manager and expressed my issues with her. No follow up. 2 years ago I bought a new Hideout travel trailer from Bobby Combs. Since then I have referred many people to Bobby Combs for their integrity and service. When people ask where I bought my gorgeous motor home I tell them Bobby Combs because I don't want them to buy from Holland and have the same problems we have had. Service and follow up just plain sucked. Doesn't matter that it was $75,000. Could have been $7,000. When a dealer can't spend a quarter to make a phone call it sucks. My only recourse is to refer my family and friends to Bobby Combs. Not fun. Ps...have seen 4 vehicles purchased from Bobby Combs since I bought my Class A last April from Holland....I can repair my motorhome easier than you can repair word of mouth. read more

We purchased a toy hauler in at the end of 2015. We were told it was a 2016 model, but after buying it we were organizing the paperwork and saw it was a 2015. That was the first lie. We bought a truck to pull it at the same time we bought the trailer. Asked lots of questions about the size of the truck, proper hitch, got a RAM 2500 4x4 with a Cummins 6.7L diesel and were assured that it was the proper truck. Well, no it isn't. It can easily pull 17,600 lbs. which is more than the trailer weighs, but you have to go by the pin weight (the weight of the nose of the trailer over the hitch which is over the rear axles). According to that we're waaay overweight. My husband specifically asked about this point and we were lied to, the second lie. My husband specifically asked about needing a special license to pull a 14,000 lb 5th wheel and he was told our regular driver's license is fine. That was the third lie. In this state you need an RV endorsement at the very least to pull a big trailer. To get the 'proper' truck to pull this 5th wheel we will need a BIGGER truck, which will mean a special license because the combined weight of the bigger truck plus RV puts you close to commercial license territory. We asked all the right questions and got lies instead of honest answers. Now we will trade in our beloved 5th wheel, which is perfect for our needs and lifestyle, and get a Class A which requires no special license endorsement if it's under 40' long. We'll take a huge loss on trading in the 5th wheel toy hauler an the truck, which were supposed to last us well into retirement. Avoid this viper's pit. Have also been waiting 1 1/2 years on a service call back for something we wound up fixing ourselves. read more

We bought a new Montana 3711FL 5TH Wheel from Holland, ( 76,000.00 cash) The front air conditioner quit the first day we got it home, the bathroom door fell off and the holding tank ( blackwater) would not drain. after 2 months back in there shop, everything we thought was fixed, our first trip the bedroom door fell off along with the bathroom door, and the coach will not cool down 10 degree's if its 80 we might see 78 inside. Anything over 85 outside forget it its 85 inside.. 2 AC units for a 40 foot coach is not enough,,, so back a second time, 5 weeks later nothing fixed, outside shower leaks and can not be used, molding falling off inside, outside rain gutter molding fell off, furnace not working right, AC units not cooling, I received a call telling us it would be ready today Feb 23rd at 2:30 pm We arrived at 2:45 I asked one of the men working on it if it was completed, His reply was " NO," a nasty loud NO, I asked what need to be done and he replied IM NOT DONE OK ! Thats when I blew up and he ran off.. No service No customer service and a bad product. I'm taking then to court I've had it.......... read more

I purchased a 2014 Fleetwood Tioga Montara in March 2014. I drove it home and it rained and the inside leaked soaking the beading and mattress. The roof had a crack and they tried to fix it. I watched them seal the crack and when I asked why they didn't clean the dirt from the surface before applying the sealent they said "It won't matter." It did because it started leaking soon after. If this was not enough they sold my wife and I an "EasyCare" warranty that was misrepresented as a "Total Care Motor Home. " It was not (the Total Care) because they mismarked the paper work. Buyer beware we were lied to upon picking up our fifth wheel that we just purchased we did A Walk Thru and while he was showing us the slide it made a noise he said when you heard that it means stop then he walked around to the outside and said oh this needs to be fixed so it was going to fix it but what we didn't know was that the whole slide needed to be fixed not just the seal when we discovered the problem they refuse to fix it....... they said that we purchased it that way my husband said we bought new we should have new..... not one with the problem that they were supposed to fix or should have fixed.... we know of two that were on the inside that we pointed out when we saw it and they said that they would be fixed when we picked it up when we picked it up they still weren't fixed and they said oh it's because they were on order and Reflections take a long time to get their parts... they had it for 3 weeks before we picked it up...... read more
