I know that's no reason to like a restaurant but it made it stand out for me. That's a chimichanga plate, fresh chips and salsa too.

The "Dia De Los Muertes" artwork throughout the restaurant is great to sit and take in, especially if its your first visit. The TVs at the bar keep me entertained as I greedily snack on the tasty chips and salsa while watching whatever sports event is on. I've had quite a few dishes here, but my go-to fave is the Carnitas. Flavorful pulled pork, Spanish rice, refried beans, esquites (Mexican street corn), and warm flour tortillas. Forget eating everything separately...I go all in and scoop everything into that tortilla. SO GOOD. The tang and crunch from the esquites puts it over the top. Add a little squeeze of lime and dig in. The Enchiladas are also a good option when Im in the mood for some cheesy-melty goodness. The red sauce is rich and flavorful, and pairs wonderfully with the tender shreds of meat and that cool hit of the sour cream. Is Cantina Louie "authentic" Mexican food? Dont know, dont care. Quick reality check...this isn't Tijuana. The food is great and I've never had a negative vibe or experience here, with either the food or the staff. Highly recommend if youre in the area.

They did a remodel at this location a couple of years ago and it's 1000% better than before. The space has high ceilings with plenty of options for seating. For our small group of five, we opted for the corner booth for the best lighting and comfort. Regular tables and bar seating is available if you'd prefer. Our server was efficient and friendly. Food came out hot and fast. Love the chips and salsa to start. The portions are very generous. And you really can't beat their "3 For Me" menu that's available at the time of me writing this review. You have a choice of various full-size sandwiches with fries, and two other sides like mac and cheese, soup or a house salad including a drink for $11.99, $12.99, and $14.99, I believe, depending on what you order. Of course, there's plenty of other food options like smoked ribs, chicken wings, seafood options, etc., if you're not concerned with pricing. Overall, this Chili's is a nice, convenient, family-friendly spot located on the Island (Fleming Island) with outstanding customer service and a full-service bar if you want to get your drink on including mixed drinks, beer and wine. Yay!

The host was awesome. The young man was charming and funny, seated us where we asked and we didn't have to wait at all ( The place was packed). That's where the great experience ended. We were almost ready to leave when our waiter finally came over. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the kids sliders and Mac and cheese were good. The tiny humans ate with no complaints . The adults all got the shrimp, steak and chicken fajitas- they came with no plates and we had to wait 10 Min to catch the waiters attention. They had so much pepper it was almost inedible. The peanut butter pie was fantastic (5 stars! ) and I would return just for this.
