I love this store so much. They always have great sales on stuff I love. Also I feel like they have a wide selection of stuff from tight clothing to loose fitting. They are a bit pricey but I think that's just because of the material and the good quality fabric that is being used. The workers are friendly and always offer to help with anything you're looking for. If you want even more selection look online they also have lots of good stuff. I love the store so much. I always find cute clothes and they are the only ones that have the low rise boot cut jeans that I love. If you sign up for their club, you can get $10 off instantly. Humiliating experience, so I bought double the items online because I didn't know what size I was. A day after I received them (today), I went to the store to return the sizes that didn't fit and they had me waste my time because they said the items had already been refunded accusing me. Personally, I love the quality of the clothing at Hollister, but I will never pay full price because I can't fathom the idea of paying more than $30 for such little fabric. Good news is that they always have a lot of sales, and a ton of options to choose from. It is indeed very difficult to find someone to help you, and the dressing rooms are a disaster, because they're either long lines, or locked and no employee there to unlock it for you. I'm giving this place a generous 2 stars because the clothes are neatly folded and organized. However, they really, REALLY need to fix their dressing room situation, as I see many other dissatisfied reviews about them. My friend wanted to try on two pairs of shorts, but all the dressing rooms were occupied or locked, so he proceeded to ask a worker there by the name of Sophie for assistance. I have to assume that she went to the computer and buzzed someone else to help him with the rooms because she didn't say a word to us and brushed past us very rudely to do that. It's not too difficult to explain to a customer that someone will be here to help us shortly. It was obvious that she does not enjoy her job, or attending to others' needs. My friend bought the shorts anyway because they were way nicer than her personality. read more

Normally the service here is great. Today I came to make an exchange and bought 2 more jeans.. the skinny girl at the cash register with short hair was not helpful at all (cashier number 02329577). I had a stapled receipt from previous purchases, and she did not want to look at the receipt at all! She's scans the first receipt and tells me she can't find the items I'm exchanging for on the receipt. At least have the decency to look through the three receipts before telling me it's not in the system! So I told her to scan the last receipt, which if she has looked at the receipt thoroughly she would see that item is being shipped to my home address. She again tells me, she cannot find the receipt to exchange the items. I had to ask her for the receipts back and complete her job of looking through them to find the right one. Pretty good. The employees have assisted every time i needed a room, size, check in inventory, returns, etc. It's nice to just have this location here even though I've never been a huge fan of Hollister. The quality is medium and I personally need to try it all on and touch it all since it's not consistent from my experience. When I find something good, it's usually really good. So bad experience. I bought some pieces by online and I had to wait for their email for pickup from store between 3 to 5 business day. After times and times tell, chat and talked with cashier in store, finally after 12 days, they said sorry your order lost in store and if you need your money we can refund it. OMG no I need my order . Ok so pls wait 3 to 5 business days again. One week later -totally 20 days- they send email to picked up the order, but why only 2 pieces, sorry the third one was out of stock and we refund your money for this one. I'm not too happy with my experience here at Hollister. I have found some awesome outfits on line that I have had no problem with, but actually going into the store was next to a nightmare. My goal was to buy a summer dress for a friends casual wedding coming up. I thought I found one that I liked a lot, but their lighting is so off the wall that when I got home in natural light I looked like a bright yellow daffodil. True story. I attempted to take it back less than any hour after I bought it (mind you it was $180) and was denied a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they pretty much told me that they were the highest in the chain of command, and I was pretty much out of luck. I ended up going to Abercrombie and finding an awesome dress that was 10 times cuter and half the price. Givin the fact that Hollister went out of their way to grossly overcharge, and in my opinion falsely advertise the look of their clothing due to poor light structure, I should have been entitled to a refund. Needless to say I will order from Hollister online, and that is the only reason they received 2 stars. But as for going into the store, well, I hope you take my advice on this yelp! read more

I have shopped at Hollister at almost every mall in every city I have been to. I walked in to an empty store. Meaning no clients and no associates to be found. After having to rummage through clothes like I were at a swap meet. Because the apparel was a mess. Sizes all mixed and different prices on same items. I ventured back past the registers to find the jeans that I came in for. An associate walked right past me. Looked me right in the face and then continued to walk without so much as a hello, kiss my a@" nothing. Find out the jeans are all buy 1 get 1 50% off. Score!!! But again all of them are a mess. I see the clearance on the wall. Thought again score!!!! But sizes all a mess. Found a few pair of jeans I came for and 3 jackets on clearance I have been in the store 45 to an hour by now. Walked around to find someone to ring me up. Could have just walked out with it all but kept searching for someone to take my money Found 2 girls. 1 of them was the one that ignored me earlier. I asked if someone could ring me up the other girl said sure she could. I then told her I had been through the store for almost an hour and no one. She said it's better to come on the weekend there are more people to help. She began to ring me up and low and behold all 3 jackets were not clearance price where I found them. I said forget it all. DARK, annoying spotlights and music. As others said, you could barely see sales (?) people in the corners, hiding, folding things. No help from them, even as I embarrassed my niece by asking aloud if we could get some help. When it came time to check out, the sales girl needed to change the "paper" in the machine. She then proceeded to roll each of the 3 shirts and little jacket we purchased into a ball and stuff them into a small bag. I asked why she didn't fold them..."OH? You would like them folded? We don't do that here because of the long lines. We don't want to hold people up by folding items." Looked behind me. Not a soul in sight. I walked in the store no one greeted me which is normal for this store. Employees walking everywhere which I guess it's normal and when u need help you don't know who to ask for help. Employees dressed just like any other customer or even worst some dressed like if they would actually be going to the beach. I understand this is a store that selling bathing suits and shorts etc. But wearing a tub top is just too much that definitely should not be allowed. It looks so unprofessional they should wear a name tag as well so customers can distinguish employees from customers. I only buy Hollister items on sale, and their clothing has better quality than other fast fashion stores like forever21. I'm a royal customer. I was here just couple minutes ago trying to buy swimwear. When I tried to check out my stuffs, there was two girls reading some kind of paper work. When one of them saw me, the person only say "she'll be here in a minute," AND SHE did not bother to find the other girl. Minutes later, I was still hearing the girl, who later checked out my stuffs, talking with her coworker. I was not very pleased with how she acted during and after she checked out my stuff. The grand opening of this store just happened a few days ago; every where I look I seem to find people toting around these little bags, so I went in today to see what all the fuss was about. I was almost knocked over by the eight bottles of spray they put around the store, but once I got past that, I found the selection to be pretty well above the one out in Parkway Plaza. Props to them for the Huntington Beach live surf report on their gigantic TVs. The store was exceptionally clean, and it is beyond me how they keep everything folded so perfect even with the public coming through and ruining displays. The employees overall were very helpful, the fitting room took quite a while, but there was only three rooms available, so I'll give them a break. The only thing I was not too excited about was the horrible screechy emo bands singing at a volume far more than any human ear should ever have to bear. Turn it down a little Hollister. love this company and the clothes. most of the hollisters you go to will have the same clothes, same price, and the same atmosphere. so i'm not gonna say anything negative about the company itself but the customer service here is absolutely terrible. i used to work for abercrombie and fitch back in my hometown and we never treated people with such disregard like they do. my staff was really funny, outgoing, and relaxed. it's true that abercrombie and fitch will only hire people who 'look the part' but that doesn't mean you can treat people like they are beneath you. the staff at fashion valley are never helpful. i stood in line for a good twenty minutes before someone realized i was standing there. there were two other people in front of me. one of which was my friend. after the cashier rang her up, she looked at us both and said 'okay, you guys have a good night' and walked away. HELLO? I'M STILL STANDING HERE WITH CLOTHES IN MY HANDS. they are super unorganized. clothes were EVERYWHERE. i get that working in retail can be stressful but that doesn't mean you can walk around like your head is cut off trying to get things done. this was completely unacceptable customer service. read more
