And so, you go home, and you Google "Best independent mechanic in _____ zip code," and you see what pops up on Yelp, and you read some promising reviews, and you make an educated guess as to which mechanic sounds like your best bet, and you drive to their location with a hope and a prayer that this random garage you found on Yelp can fix your vehicle in a timely manner without charging you an arm and a leg. In that case, I'm happy to report that AV Auto can! Long story short, my check engine light came on, I ran (free) diagnostics at AutoZone, I went to the dealership, I left the dealership, I cursed the dealership, and then I found AV Auto on Yelp. AV confirmed the diagnosis (I needed a new engine coolant pump), recommended I get the part online (for a better price), set a time for the repair, and finished the job in less time than they quoted me. If only everything in life was this easy! So if you're reading this, and you're thinking to yourself, "Can I trust this random dude on Yelp about this random garage on Yelp?" the answer is: "Yes. Yes you can."

We asked him if the owner was there and he said "no he's not here", knowing damn well he was straight up lying to us because we saw his name tag and knew he was the owner. Also *BEWARE* we gave him a $500 to hold the car and he said that we had 5 days. A few days later we told him we weren't interested in the car anymore as we found a better deal for the exact same car and we kept getting deflected by employees when we asked about our deposit. So we had to drive all the way from OC to get our deposit back to only receive half of it rather than the full amount we had originally given them. I don't know how this place is still open, maybe because they're stealing money from potential customers. As for the positive reviews I would not trust them either as they may be the employees/owner making them up in order to attract clients. Also it says a lot about the company since they're not responding to the negative reviews, it comes to show that they know what's been said about them is true since they're not denying it. Anyways I highly recommend purchasing a car from a more reputable place rather than from them. Save yourself from having to deal with them and their unprofessional business.
