Drove it for less than two weeks and it is now sitting at a transmission shop for the past few days getting more money dumped into it because the transmission was going out! We called Aju Motors and were basically told they would only help us with partial of the cost and ONLY if we go to their mechanic which sounds like a scam in itself. Aju Motors at first sight has an amazing selection of cars. I couldn't be more happier with my purchase for a first time buyer. Being a woman and alone at a car dealer was scary, but Paul makes me feel like I was part of his family or a dad I never had. He took his time to explain and help me with my car & insurance purchase while he was juggling with other customers. We traveled all the way from Fresno to purchase a late model, Toyota Sequoia from Aju. Paul was great and made the transaction stress and hassle free. The price was much better than we could get on a similar vehicle here in the central valley of California. We have had the Sequoia now for two years and haven't had a single problem with it. My Wife and I bought her car here about 2 months ago, I wanted to wait some time before putting in a review just in case, But there was no need to wait, The Mercedes was the color we wanted, the Package we wanted and most importantly the price we wanted, This review if mostly toward Jay, the salesman that helped us, although I am sure the rest of the faculty had their part. This has to be the best car buying experience I have had. When you first drive up and see the building, you question whether or not they are for real. It is a very small building in the Wienerschnitzel parking lot.. They have a small quantity of very high quality vehicles to show (both in condition and miles). My wife and I met with David and he was very friendly. His approach is unassuming and very respectful. He let us test drive the car without having to drive with us and without any questions or paperwork. We had a very friendly and low pressure discussion about the car and he worked with us on the price. You always know where they stand and they are not afraid to be straight with you. I spent the next couple of days researching vehicles from other dealers and owners and could not find a better value. We chose to buy our Lexus from AJU. We came back a few days later and the paperwork took a whole 30 minutes to complete. WOW. How easy was that!! Car drives great and is in terrific condition. Everything they said it would be. I have to wonder how much the other reviewers on this site were paid to give this hell hole a 5 star review. Maybe they're all family members. Or maybe they're employees who were forced to make up shit or they don't get paid, because this place is the biggest piece of crap excuse for a car dealer you can imagine. Here's what happened. I found the car i wanted online at their site. The photos looked great and the Carfax title was clean. I called and specifically asked if the car I was interested in was clean and in good condition because I didn't want to drive an hour and half if the car was a mess. Paul assured me that the car looked great and there were no problems. So imagine how I felt after driving 90 minutes into a scary-ass neighborhood to find the car had TWO PEOPLE'S NAMES CARVED INTO THE PAINT. Seriously! The sales guy did however offer to paint over it -- though I'm pretty sure he intended to use a Sharpie instead of paint. The tires on the car had been replaced with cheap-ass mini-tires and the upholstery inside was stained. Obviously the photos were of a different car. What a ridiculous waste of my time. These guys are disreputable liars and I wouldn't buy a key ring from them. Run, do not walk, as far away from these guys as you can get. Phony, phony, phony. read more

My husband and I flew from San Francisco to LA to purchase a vehicle from Aju motors. We had been shopping online for two months looking for a particular vehicle and found the one we wanted online at Aju motors. My husband called and spoke to Jay. He negotiated a little over the phone as being 400 miles away we could not just pop in. Jay was fantastic! We decided to fly out the next day because of the seemingly incredible deal as prices in LA on vehicles are much lower than in Northern CA. Jay picked us up at the airport and drove us straight to the car lot. We had a casual conversation all the way there, no sales talk, which was very refreshing. The car was everything and more that we wanted and we were able to negotiate the lowest possible price which we could not touch here in Northern CA. Jay worked very hard for us from the moment he took our phone call, I can not say enough about Jay only that I hope he is still there in a few years when we are ready to replace our other vehicle! Also the entire staff there was extremely professional!!! The owner seemed to be a very reputable person. And to the person who wrote a yelp review about being or not being Korean, that was an absurd thing to say. If i could give this place zero stars, i would. I bought a 2012 mini cooper s in may of 2014 from james lee who is the owner of the business. I was referred to him by a friend and believed he would be trustworthy, i couldnt have been more wrong. When i showed interest in the car, he literally called me at least twice a day to get me to buy the car. Knowing that he was an aquaintance of my friend, i didnt negotiate on the price and paid everything he asked for with the belief that he would take care of me if i had any issue, couldnt have been more wrong again. After driving the car for only 5k miles, i hear grinding noises every time i brake and immediately know that the rotors are gone. It was a used car so i cant really complain that the brakes wore out too soon. However, when i take it to a shop which my friend owns, im informed that all for calipers have to be replaced aside from the rotors, sensors, and the pads. The calipers were uneven and were grinding the insides of my rotors. Like i said, if it were the rotors and the pads alone, i wouldnt even be writing this review but the calipers werent properly in place when i purchased the car to begin with. The shop quotes me $2k and i call james lee for assistance and whats his response? That theres nothing he can do because theres no proof that its their fault. As i express my frustration for over 30mins, he doesnt say a single word unlike when i was purchasing the car. I paid the asking price of the car in full and was provided with a service that made me regret even walking into this dealership in the first place. Theyll do anything to make u buy the car and even tried to illegally find me a fake address for my insurance to save me money because they werent going to accept a dime less than what they were asking for on the car. Once i signed and drove the car off the lot, i never heard from james again, not even to ask how i liked the car. I hope that no one else ever has to go through the trouble i went through and would highly suggest that you go elsewhere to purchase your next car. I am a korean myself but this type of service from a korean dealership is such an embarassment. Dont be deceived by their kindness when you show interest in a car because once you sign the papers, thatll be the last you hear from them.
