I went in for a car wash, it was no wait! They did a great god. I also paid for a detail, but couldn't do it that same day. They were super flexible with my schedule took my car this morning @10:30 and it was finished @2:00pm I loved the outcome, my car was super dirty (kids) at first and they cleaned everything!!! This is by far the most unprofessional car wash I've ever been too. I've given this place 3 chances and the 3rd time was completely my fault for even pulling into the establishment. I rarely even write reviews but this is necessary. Starting with the cashier who has a nasty attitude and the worst customer service. Then the guys that dry off the vehicle has an even worse attitude. Each time I visited the location it's been the same thing over and over. There is a shortage of hand car washes in the area so this is the only one available. But I'll risk getting my car scratched going through an automatic wash before I ever step foot here again. read more

Im very disappointed as a customer for many many years. I accidentally cut the line, a man came to my window to tell me. He had an attitude so i question how did I cut the line as I know where the line starts but anyhow I did the right thing and reverse to let him and another man go. so first car when in then the guy that came to my window wouldn't go inside so now we are both blocking the street. There was more than enough space for him to go in the driveway. He moved for one vehicle, then we had more cars come from both ways he wouldn't go inside the driveway of car wash so I had no option but to cut him again since cars were beeping. Once inside they tell me I need to leave for cutting the line I explain my story and I said I did cut and I reverse and I asked can you wash my car after his bc there was no other cars behind at that time. They said I had to get out and get back in line. I'm pretty sure the man call the place and told them I cut him in line, the whole time he was hitting the accelerator like he was going to do something. I just feel that as a long term customer they bother not to believe my side of the story and I even told them "check ur cameras, he wouldn't drive in and I had no option but to cut him a second time to move out of the way from blocking the street" instead I took my car to the other nearest car wash in Cicero "brothers hand carwash" and I know there's a no cutting line sign outside the same reason why I reserve my truck. They didn't even clean it up really good if they know even though they just leave it alone like wtf.... what a half bunch of lazy workers don't know how to clean properly while the price is ridiculously pricey while they don't do anything really good at it. The workers a very hard workers and take time with every vehicle! Im not sure how they don't have the urge to dance while they are working... This place run very rude management it is located on the sister of Chicago border I actually felt threatened by the people working at the car wash I had complain that I thought there rate for he is Soul read an SUV was a bit out of line since it's smaller than a standard car that the church $1 6 they wanted $19 for the Soul.... Vehicles are washed fairly well on the exterior but the interior leaves a bit more to be desired so I'm giving it to star rating cuz there's much room for improvement, it's not just about getting a person in and out quickly when you're charging $32 for a wash. The people are nice, I must say that. I have been coming here for a few years and they always did a good job but the last 3 times I brought my car in they really have done a poor job. I even paid for a mini detail on a new car that was only 3 months old and whatever they did caused a bad smell to be in the car for weeks. I had to take it to another car wash to get them to Shampoo it again to get the smell out again. I have them a few chances but now need to find a new car wash. read more

I came in on Friday for a car wash I paid $40 not cheap for them not to clean the car right. Paid extra $7 for bug removal they were not able to remove everything as they said it won't come off cause I took to long to wash it. (4 days). Once i drove out i saw back window was dirty side mirrors were dirty and when I got off Water running down all my doors. I paid the extra for them to air dry it so they won't do it. I called she said bring it the next day today Saturday I brought it they said I dirtied it I guess I must've splashed water on the car and not sure what on mirrors and window. In the inside they couldn't wipe it down he had the nerve to tell me to pay 20 more dollars so he can fix the problem. He wouldn't even give me his name and had the nerve to ask if he wanted me to wipe down the side doors with a cloth but if it's scratched it was my problem. He also said times change I guess people don't work the same as they used to I don't know what he meant by that car washes were cheaper before and they did a better job. This car wash has gone so down hill it's not even funny. I asked the girl on the front for the managers name and number or the owners and she said she couldn't tell me or give me the number so who are we supposed to call and complain to? read more

Well let's see where do I start. I've been frequenting this car wash for about 3 years now sending everyone I know there, even if they have messed up by missing certain things at times when they clean my truck or my car. I support Berwyn and Cicero businesses because I as a business owner know that we need to support each other especially in times like today with the Coronavirus here stopping so many of us from working or even opening our business. But after today I will never go back nor will I send anyone there. I called to ask if they would be open and she said yes then hung me abruptly, fine okay maybe she was busy or having a bad day. My husband and I have taken on other jobs to keep the bills up so we decided to have our truck washed upon arriving at Hollywood spa and car wash n pulling in we were told because there were 2 of us we could not enter, mind you we were both wearing masks. My husband asked if one of us could wait out front and we were told no we had to leave. They had 2 cars they were washing as we are pulling out there are 4 people waiting in front no social distancing what so ever nor were any of them wearing masks and another 3 people inside waiting. Really bad business people I still can't understand why they wouldn't take our business. But guess what I will not be back nor will my husband n we will not send anyone your way ever again. This place is a total nite mare !!!I simply asked that the car porters would pay extra attention to the interior of my car,due to the fact that we are the owners of a Bull dog,and as we all know that the breed is not a very hight shedding breed.I was told that the would do what was standard on all autos.Some how this was a very special process ! Not only did they forget t0 vaccum the passenger side of the car,but blow the hair all around the car !,leaving a bigger mess than when we bought the car in.I bought my cocern to the manager on duty,and was greeted was treated very rudly. When I asked to speak with the owner or his or her info.I was told that her father was the owner of the spa .When I returned the following day the spa was closed.I returned the next of the opening of the spa,again the owners daughter was once again vry rude and stated that her father would only repeat what she had stated !The owner stated that there would be a 250.00 charge to shampoo the auto.I simply asked that he vaccumed the car on the passenger side of the auto.He said no !.That would be a 250.00 shampoo treatment ! With the lacking of the english language,he stood his ground and that was all he had to say !!.I am new to the area and We have an SUV and a sports car that is detailed weekly.I will never return to the spa again !The english language was a problem as well as the rude service ! read more

Been taking my car their for years and never had a problem until a few weeks ago. One of the workers took the keys out of the ignition even though I left it in the ignition. He than tried to jam the key in the wrong way and messed the key up. 2 hours later I returned with my spare and the car started right up. When I told the owner a replacement key for my mercedes was $400 he than tried to place the blame on me and more or less refused to pay for the replacement. There is no doubt the key was broken by his employee, NONE!! Not to mention half of my day was wasted! read more

I came to get my car washed here a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed. I left my $300 watch near my gear shift and when I got back in the car my watch was no longer there. I spoke with the manager and he did nothing to accommodate me. I asked if he could talk to his employees to see if they had came across my watch. He once again did nothing and told me that I did not know where I put my watch. I called the police after this and told the manager that the police were on the way. Five minutes later he showed up with my watch saying that I had dropped it outside. On the video he showed me, one of the guys oens my door reaches in my car and then walks off to the side. I went yesterday for a wash. I've been going to this place for years, but I won't be going back! Its changed quite a lot, for the worst! I wish that I could give it zero stars for its stink @ss service! I had not been there for a while & noticed that they had a new set up where they begin washing your vehicle before you are even allowed to exit it. They had already begun washing the car in front of my car as I sat waiting in line, then they immediately began washing my car before I could exit it. Frankly, I didn't know whether to remain in my car or exit it to walk to the register. When I looked to the workers for direction, they gave me nasty, rude looks. As I tried to exit the car, the workers continued to hose down the car as if I were not there. They were even pointing the hose in my direction with no care to wetting me up. At that point I went completely off! I couldn't believe it! When I went over and complained to the owner's daughter about the treatment, she took up for the workers by stating that they were only trying to wash the car & that they couldn't control the direction of the hose / water, which made absolutely no sense to me & I told her that! Common sense would dictate that you allow the customer to exit the car safely before beginning to hose it down & then making matters worse by pointing the hose in the customer's direction and risk wetting them up! What kind of place would do that & think its o.k! In fact, as I was relaying this to the owner's daughter, two other customers came over & begin telling her how the same thing had happened to them as they drove in, but it didn't seem to matter much to her. At that point, I was too fit to be tied! She must have called her father, the owner, because he arrived shortly thereafter but he made no attempt to make amends. I looked over at him & he had a little grin / smirk on his face, which said it all for me. When business mgt is completely dismissive about your complaints of truly bad customer service, especially when you have been a longstanding customer, you know that you are spending your money in the wrong place & I will definitely be going elsewhere! Just had an issue with Hollywood Car Wash. They closed the overhead door on the hood of the car I was driving. Until the car was washed I could not tell if there was damaged so I mentioned politely to the cashier that I would need to speak with her once the car was washed if indeed there was damage. Right way she indicated that they didn't consider themselves responsible for any damage because when the door closed my car was in the way. What? Made no sense. I pointed out that there is no signage to indicate where to stop AND I was pulling my car in when the door came down. They didn't close the door until I was part way in the building. There was available space inside the garage, cars ahead of me pulled forward and so I was pulling in. She seemed to indicate that I parked half in and half out or something. That's not how it was but regardless, they closed the door on the car. Can there be an excuse for closing the overhead door on a car? There are no sensors apparently so the door didn't hit the car and then bounce up or a sensor to indicate there is an object in the path of the door. That is very unsafe and I doubt that it us to code. They have moved the entrance to what used to be the exit and they always used to let you out and then close the door behind. When I saw the damage, which is not slight, I returned to the cashier and asked politely if the car wash still refused to take any responsibility and she said no because they have a video and I was in the way when the door came down. What? They didn't even give me a free car wash. I've been a customer for many years because I live near Roosevelt Rd and the car wash has changed. They have certainly lost a customer but I don't think they care about that. Not sure how I will get reimbursed for the damage--it's a brand new car. I have photos of the signage so they can't change it and claim I didn't follow the instructions. They should go back to the old configuration when they could see the car exit and THEN close the door. read more

While I understand my car is a total mess because I'm always so busy I just needed a vacuum and a was since I had not done so for soooo long and I practically live in car car because of work and dogs!! Last time I came they charged me extra to vacuum and I understood and was ok with the extra charge!!! I complained this time they had not did the extra vacuum between the seats and she proceeded to tell me it was an extra 80.00 and was forcing me to shampoo my car for an extra 350.00 I told her last time I paid extra but not 80 and she said if I wanted a quick vacuum it was going to be 80.00!!! Yes for a 5 minute vacune 80.00 when I can have some one shampoo and was and vacuum to come to my address and do it for 150.00!!! It's no wonder this place doesn't have any credible starts just the one you are forced to give!!! Once again I know my car is bad because of my dogs but 80.00 for a vacuum please I have to be more stupid then them to pay that!!! Never will I go to Hollywood Auto Spa again. I experienced discrimination & favoritism at this business. On Tuesday, 7/28/15 I arrived at this business at 6:50, the car wash closes at 7:00. There are 4 lanes at the location, 3 of the lanes had huge yellow drums blocking the lane, and so I pulled my car in behind a car, which on the sign it read "line up here". Well, after 5 minutes, an attendant came out and told me I needed to arrive at 6:45, they were closed and to come back tomorrow. I told him I was there before 7:00; I asked him if I could remain in line, and he told me "no". There was another car behind me, and he told me he had informed that driver he couldn't wash his car either. I backed my car out of the car wash, and as I was driving down the street, I watched in my rear view mirror, the attendant allowed the car behind me to enter the car wash where a yellow drum was placed. I went around the corner and parked my car and went inside and told the attendant, it was wrong for him to send me away and allow the car behind me to enter and that was bad customer service. The attendant then lied and said he was getting a detail job. I told him he told me he was close and that car would not be allowed in either. I expressed my frustration and told him I will never bring my car to have it washed again at an establishment that discriminates and shows favoritism. read more
