I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

They just got back from their 5-night stay at OBKC, and I couldn't be happier. Because it's a smaller facility, OBKC's staff has more time to devote to each individual dog, which made me feel much more confident in leaving them there, especially with my older pup's health issues. The consistent routine each day, individual playtimes with staff, and constant access to clean, climate-controlled space and fresh water clearly kept my girls happy during their stay! You also have an option to spoil your pup with little frozen treats, and proceeds go to local charities. I received updates (with beautiful photos!) whenever I asked, and they took extra precautions to keep my older dog safe and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other facilities, especially considering the personalized care. They came back to me clean and happy. One was even more excited to play with the staff on her way out than she was to see me! Scout and Cherry say thank you so much for taking such good care of them.

My late Freddy was a fun loving wild man, at 82 lbs he was not the easiest to groom. Daniel was the only groomer that gave Freddy a sense of calm, thank goodness as he was a standard poodle that required grooming every 4-6 weeks. Daniel is one with the dogs and would NEVER be forceful with any dog, even my giant Freddy. I literally cannot say enough about Daniel and the entire staff at Four Paws. Here is my feeling about Four Paws! Little did I know that when I met Denise and her team back in 2005 that she would become part of our family. She has helped me raise, yes, I said raise 3 of my dogs so far. The best part about Denise from Four Paws, is that she honestly loves every single animal that she encounters. I used to feel so bad when we had to board my dog, but then I realized my dogs were living their best life and getting lots of love and attention when they stayed with Denise while we were gone. The other amazing perk is that Denise used to be a vet tech, I have always felt comfort knowing she had the skills to additionally take care of my pets if ever needed. I want to leave you with one last story to paint a picture of just how compassionate Denise and Four Paws Pet Sitting is, when it was time for my late dog Vegas to cross of the Rainbow bridge, all of the team members that walked Vegas either came over to say one last goodbye or send a beautiful message to let me know how special of a dog he was. Denise was there for me when I had to make the decision, and even came a month later when we had a little ceremony to properly bless my sweet boy. There is really nothing she wouldn't do for the pets or the pets' owners. I highly recommend Four Paws Pet Sitting for all services they provide, they are amazing people, and will treat your pets, better than most humans.

Proceed with caution and we MISS KIM AND ED! (Previous original owners who sold this daycare to this jerk who only cares about the bottom line..... money and overbooking). Your staff have disclosed a lot over the few years at pick up. I've been bringing my German Shepherd to Canine Connections for over 8 years, and I always trusted them to provide a safe, caring environment. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely shaken that trust. When I picked up my dog, I noticed visible bite marks--injuries that clearly occurred while in their care. What's worse, no one called me, there was no incident report, and nothing was mentioned at pickup. I had to take my dog to the vet for treatment out of my own concern. After nearly a decade of loyalty, I expected far better from Steve and the team at Canine Connections. Mistakes can happen, but failing to communicate when an animal is injured is unacceptable. This isn't just a customer service issue--it's about safety, responsibility, and basic decency toward the animals they're trusted to care for. It's heartbreaking to say this after so many years, but I strongly encourage other pet owners to rethink bringing their dog to Canine Connections. If something happens to your pet, you deserve to know about it immediately--not find out after the fact, with no explanation. A few pics but there was more Injuries- bites on arm and all around his neck. It was Clearly a dog fight that Steve is claiming "nothing happened". Mind you my dog came home crying and shaking in pain. Vet gave antibiotics for 10 days plus pain meds washed out all wounds and closely monitor has we needed staples but declined due to the need to put him to sleep.

Our unique situation of moving across the country with a much different living situation went very smoothly with our dogs because Jamie prepped them for all the new things they would encounter. I wish someone had told me to get myself trained before I got a puppy. As he grew I realized no matter how many youtube videos I watched it was not enough! I found Jaime through a local doggie daycare ... We decided the 2 week board and train would be best for our situation. Denali is a Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix and was jumping, barking, crazy Impulsive, eating socks, and paper things. Just 2 weeks of training and he was calmer, he would stay on a "place" his cot, he didn't drag me on our walks. People would say how well he would behave then when they found out he was less than a year old they were amazed. OMG I love Jaime she has been a GOD Sent. Jaime came back for a follow-up visit and had to run back to her car and Denali actually cried when she left. He loves her and so do I! Thank you for all you help and continued support.
