Sandy starkman is the designer of embroidery on rayon material jacket. So beautiful owl jacket which I really wanted but it was a size small. It was a dream jacket. . Sunglasses, I found the oversize sunglasses that are shaped circle. I have been looking for it. I went with the black metal frame and black lens, for everyday wear. I also had my eye on the gold metal frame with oversize circle shaped sunglasses and pink lens. I skipped the pink lens one. . At the end of the trip we drove by again and I pulled a stop there. I got the pink lens one. And I was so happy. My friend wanted to see me buy it and try it on. I had a cheerleader to say buy it. It was really my style and I looked like an Asian Elton John. I figured I need this for my upcoming palm springs vacation. I want to do a all pink theme for my first palm springs vacation. . I really loved this store. It was so big and there is so much to see. There are home goods, kitchen ware, cups, and shoes, to bags, and clothes. Basically anything you can think of. My friend found her mj cards and cds of mariah Carey for 3 dollar each. . Overall I really had a great experience and easily spend 1 hr or more to go through the store quickly. The prices can be high but if you love I say get it. They have a parking lot in the back of the building which helps with saving time. Parking can be hard In portland with out proper parking lots. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Huge Vintage space - a couple of things going into my 3 stars. If you're looking for an absolute time suck of looking for clothing - this is it. I don't recommend for anyone plus size though since there's barely anything above a size M that's not a ratty t-shirt. If you're looking for housewares or home decor, this is not it. Once in awhile you'll see lucite grapes but other than that it's just clothing. No bathrooms even for paying guests kinda can cut your visit short. Literally was 100 degrees in the space when I last visited. I nearly passed out in the basement (would anyone find you or would you become another oddity to be sold?) If you're into curated clothing and sifting through a real life Depop store, sure. This is it. I'd say you're also better off spending an hour at the goodwill bins and finding a ripped Bush/Cheney t shirt on your own for $1. It's hard to look at these items and think they are worth $34 for an old marathon promo item shirt.

Walking through the doors, I was intimidated by the eclectic mix just outside. I was pleasantly shocked by how it was inside! Lots of vintage clothing and shoes, some vintage collectibles like cookie jars. Very organized and clean, staff was also very polite! The prices were definitely a bit higher than I would have expected, but so is the price of literally everything lately. The quality of the clothing was all quite good, and I didn't notice much with stains or holes. Can't wait to come in and do a real deep dive!

Haven't been in some time, before pandemic for sure, but it used to be half of the space devoted to vintage and quirky collectibles and half devoted to clothing. Was surprised that there were hardly any vintage items anymore and almost whole clothing.

My first experience stopping by Hollywood vintage was wonderful ! As soon as you enter the building there's so much to see . From vintage clothing to novelty trinkets this place is such a good time . They hold a market downstairs on weekends and the vendor booths are well put together with tons of variety . I love the range in sizes for all the clothing , the booths are so inclusive , and the prices are great if you find something of interest . You can honestly get lost for hours here because there's hundreds of things to see ! Check it out if you're looking to kill some time and find some awesome unique items .

I really wanted to visit this place since I moved here, and after browsing a while I decided to check out the furniture section of the store and they had this couch. This is the literal couch I donated to GoodWill 2 days before coming to this store. They were selling the couch that I donated to GoodWill for almost $300. I got super creeped out and had to leave. I didn't even pay more than $200 for couch when I bought it. It really puts things in perspective. They must just be scalping the GoodWills around Portland and spiking up the prices for shit, overpriced stuff. There were too many shirts that were hella stained and they were selling them for $20+? This store really has the audacity to call itself "vintage." It's just an overpriced junk store.

Nate was incredibly helpful (and patient)--he spent over an hour helping me select three frames for my new prescriptions.

Vast selection, the best vintage in Portland! When I visit, I plan on at least 45 minutes because there is so much to see! I walk around the entire footprint then turn around and walk the other direction because different items will catch your eye. If you are seeking an occasional chair, they have so many styles and cool pieces. Wish I had room for more! They just don't make these styles anymore or of the same quality. They usually have a large selection of couches also in shades of teal, orange, avocado just like on The Brady Bunch. Even plaid, if that's your thing. And of course boomerang shaped coffee tables to complete your seating area. There are so many unique one of a kind pieces too, like an upright piano transformed into a bar. OMG, I wish I had the space for it! What I always have room for is unique bar ware and glasses and they have lots to choose from. Lots of metal and sculptural wall art which really gives a room personality especially when complimenting paintings or prints. They have a large selection of table lamps but it's the hanging pendants that I really love. Perusing this store ignites so many memories! I see items that take me back to my childhood home, pieces I haven't thought about in years. My face lights up remembering a curved side table, a Sputnik light and metal flower wall art similar to what adorned our den. Or a set of whiskey sour glasses like the ones my dad drank from, prints on pillows that are in photographs in my family album. Furniture that over years made it's way to our basement and then probably a vintage shop like Hawthorne Modern! Love, love, love this place! They moved to SE Alder but the charm, the selection, the finds are all still there!
