Made contact with the dealership Friday morning with a internet rep named Christina made arrangements to meet at the dealership around noon to look at two used cars that were listed online the one car I was most interested in was a Acura TL my concern was that they posted no pictures of the car in the ad and that was kinda a red flag to me like whats wrong with but was by assured by Christina that Holman wouldn't retail a car wasn't in good shape,so I drive the 55 miles to the dealership was to ask for her when I got there,I walk in go to the counter right inside the door and ask for Christina the sales lady I'am talking to looks at another sales lady and asked who's that, so she just helps me from there takes my phone number and see's I'am there to look at these two cars she doesn't even know where the Acura is,so she go's to find it leaves me sitting in the showroom for 20 mins I was just getting up to leave when she returns and had the car pulled up out front we walk outside and I'am 75 feet away from the car and can clearly see the car is a pig the paint was faded and discolored on the drivers side front and rear doors,dents and scratches all over the car door dings down both sides,the clear coat peeling badly of the pass side b-post of both doors took a quick look inside the leather seats were cracked the pass seat had a piece of clear packing tape on a split in the seat I stopped looking was done,they wanted 11,000 dollars for a car I think they must have found in a garbage dumpster some where,So I ask her about the other car I had arranged to see and she told oh it's in the service dept you can't see it today so I drive a 110 miles round trip and waste 30 dollars in gas and tolls just to waste 3 hours of my day, read more

I wanted to shout out Don Ferguson at Holman Toyota. I was referred to Don by Ashley Shaw who works at Holman Automotive when I was in the market for my first ever BRAND NEW CAR! Even though I live 2 hours away, I offset that with the personal referral. That had a value to me. I worked with Don via email for the next month or so while I got my act together, narrowed down the options I wanted, and just generally asked a million questions. He was responsive and informative, gave me fair upfront pricing and made me feel comfortable the whole way. Too often buying a car is almost an adversarial experience with each side wanting to give as little as possible. I wasn't in the mood for that. It's not how I sell and it's not how I buy. Anyway, once I got everything dialed in, I had one non-negotiable. I wanted the vehicle Black with black interior. Don set out to find one and did! A week and a half ago I drove down to Holman and finished the deal. The next big hassle in car buying is always the F&I desk. This is where they usually try to to sell you on financing, warranties, under coating, tissue dispenser, oxygen, etc. Nancy Lynch was straight forward, low pressure and explained my options as well as answered my objections. I have a Toyota Camry that I have been exclusively using for all of my service for the past 3 years. The customer service I have received in these past years have been impeccable to the point where the reps bent over backwards to find out if there were any specials or coupons that could ease the service expense. Even when there was nothing they could do to help me, I felt as if they gave it all of their effort. I applaud them. They truly made me feel like a special customer and hence they received my exclusive business. On Sept 16, I once again went for a service call and was met with a different customer service rep. I felt rushed and when I went to pay for the service, I asked if there was any specials or coupons they could help me with. The rep said, "we don't do that anymore. If you want to find specials or coupons you can go online yourself and see if there is anything available." Well I was shocked to say the least and told them politely how I felt. When the rep texted me and asked how my experience was. I once again told her how I felt. She told me she would pass my comments on to the GM. Well the GM called me back the next day and was anything but what I was expecting. His solution was that I should call ahead in the future and stick with the reps that had been so amazing previously. He did apologize if I did not get the service I deserved. And he did tell me that all of the reps were trained the same way. But at the end his solution was to reach out to the previous reps that I liked. My expectation was for the Mgr to ask me how he could make this better? What could he do to retain me as a customer? What could he do to assure me a better experience in the future. I got none of that. Actually the way I felt was that they could care less if I remained a customer. In today's environment, one would think that every business would bend over backwards to retain each and every customer. Losing even one customer should be an epic problem. read more

I have had several issues with Holman Toyota and have left reviews about my experiences on Google. My wife brought the car there for an oil change yesterday and was charged $45 for a new cabin air filter. After I explained to her that I can get the same air filter for $7 and install in under 10 minutes she agreed that $45 was excessive and she felt that they took advantage of her. I do take some of the blame because she did say she was taking the car to get the oil changed and I forgot to say, "Don't go to Holman." read more

Not one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. As a matter of fact one of the most tiring and time consuming days I've had purchasing a car. Went back today to finish up a handshake deal w one of the managers only to be told that that deal was no longer good since I did not use Toyota financing. If I use their financing the interest rate was much higher so I chose our bank at a much lower rate but apparently then the price of the car would be $1000 more then what we agreed upon. Had we had this information yesterday I would never had agreed to buy the car . I think there needs to be more transparency and upfront ness with the information so that the consumer has the choice to make a decision based on facts and not hidden promos that were never discussed. Wanted to walk out so bad but was purchasing for my father and after 6hrs, yes 6hrs, we were too tired and hungry. This might be a great tactic to get people to break down and buy the car but at the end of the day not a pleasant experience and one that will keep me from going to his dealership in the future and one that I would not recommend. I had made an appointment for the express service, and it was anything but express. I didn't even get a courtesy update that things were running behind or anything. I waited for over 90 minutes, and when I saw my car parked out in the lot, I asked the cashier if it was ready and was told it takes up to 10 to 15 minutes to do the paper work. You need a better system to do paper work, because in today's day and age of technology - it should not take that long. This was the first time I had to pay for the service since my one-year of free oil changes expired. Since I didn't have problems in the past, I figured I would still take it back, but after that experience and paying over $70 for what I thought was supposed just be an oil change - I will not be coming back. read more

If I could, I'd really give this place 2.5 stars. We had a pleasant enough experience leasing our car from them in 2011 (as pleasant as buying/leasing a car can be), but they are kind of a pain with service. Ever since they moved to Mt. Laurel, I find that I have to schedule my service a week or two out to get the time I want, when I used to be able to do it just days in advanced when they were in Cherry Hill. They do a good enough job servicing my car, and everyone seems honest, but they have never actually washed my car, despite my requesting a wash when they ask, and despite my receipt saying I received a complimentary car wash. I haven't complained about it because after waiting for my service and walking out to my car afterward, I'm not about to walk back in there and demand a car wash. At that point I'm just ready to get out of there. read more

Had 4 new tires put on my hubby's prius 5-6 WEEKS ago. The tires that they recommended. He had a side-wall blowout on I195 over the holiday weekend on our way to celebrate at my brothers house. I was 10 minutes behind him and I picked up our daughter and dog on I195 and continued to my brothers house while he put on the donut and returned home missing the celebration. I had a 10am appointment which the phone guy said should only be about an hour. I get there at 10 and got stuck with Mark B., who was not having a good day as well. I asked how long it would take because I was waiting there for it and he said it was going to be an hour and a half. Ok. After three (3) hours of waiting and no updates, I asked a girl at the cashier desk if she could check what's going on with the car. She phoned Mark and said he would be out to speak to me soon. Since I had been sitting for 3 hours straight, I started to walk around a blue car in the showroom right in front of the cashiers desk. After no Mark and a half hour of walking around the blue car, I called my hubby and asked him to pick me up because I was hungry and tired of waiting for 3 & a half hours and not even a courtesy update. He was there in 10 minutes and still had to wait another half hour for the car. It's my hubby's car and his call as to what he wanted done. If it was my car, I would have asked them to put the donut back on and gone to my independent mechanic and bought 4 new tires and return the "compromised" tires back to holman toyota. We have lived in this area over 15 years and have always had 2-3 cars. This was our first flat tire. read more

I took my car in for service on 10/19. This was my first time using Holman Toyota and I was eager to find a new dealership for my car because I was fed up with the one I had been using. I had a 7am appt. They took the car in on time and everyone was friendly. I went over my concerns with my service advisor (Mark Beenish) and felt that he understood what I was looking for. I waited in their comfortable lounge where there is a TV, ample seating, free beverages and even a quiet space set apart from the main lounge to plug in your laptop and get some work done while you wait. They had free wi-fi and the 2 hours flew by. My service advisor sent me an email & a text when the inspection of my car was done and you are able to review and approve the work that needs to be done to your car (which I found very cool). Then Mark came out and explained everything to me and we discussed what I wanted to do. I didn't feel pressured to spend thousands of dollars that day which was refreshing. Some of the work that needed to be done would require ordering a part and would take a better part of the day so they provided a shuttle service to take me to work. The shuttle driver, both on the way to work and back to the dealership, were great! I thought it would be awkward but they were both friendly and happy to have a conversation. They called around 4 to let me know my car was done and arrange a ride back to the dealership. When I got back to the dealership, the cashier was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was thrilled with my experience and will definitely be using Holman again. Customer service goes a long way and they know what customer service is all about ! read more

Very satisfied with my servicing experience. Raymond hooley assisted me and was very courteous and friendly. I got a discount off the multi point inspection because they have some special going on for the month. Also I love the free car wash. I technically came in an hour late at 2pm on a Wednesday and waited two hours, which I think is very reasonable anyway (I had an oil change, tire rotation, cabin air filter changed, a multi point inspection, and car wash done altogether). I brought work to do at their lounge so time flew by really. Also I love that they serve peet's coffee from their lounge for customers, it helped me get through my busy day. Thanks Holman Toyota! The worst service ever. Came in with a problem and left with a problem. Only went to this location because I work in the area and needed to get to work. It was worth a shot but failed. Never going back. Not accommodating. Needed to get new tires which I got. Spent a lot of money and still trying to get more money out of me. Hubcap fell off while performing service on my car. I waited 8 hours for my car to finish. You think that they could put a hub cap on for free for waiting so long???? No, the cost of that would be 90 bucks. You think they could give my car a wash??? On the MINUS side, I went there looking to buy a car that was advertised, but buy the time I got there, it was already gone. (Boo.) That's no one's fault, just showbiz. But on the plus side, they had a newer one, a littttle more expensive, not a lot... with more "stuff" and it just went pretty easy. I dealt with Chris and Jesse (Sales) and Ryan (finance). And it was pretty painless end to end. Heck, they get extra bonus points for taking initiative when I told them I got there by a rental car; and they figured out a way for me to LEAVE my rental (to be picked up by their local Enterprise guy) and I could leave with my new car that very same day. +1 bonus points for that. You have been warned. They kept they money for gap payment we made. They Over charged us for the car. The car was supposed to be fully loaded with the exception of the emergency button and it was not fully loaded it did not have the emergency button and not only did it not have the emergency button but it didn't have the blind side notification and the parking assist we waited to hear from the dealership that's why it took so long before we posted these Complaints. Water slowly accumulated on the passenger side of the car; was not aware what the smell was about, until after a major storm water flooded the right side of the car. Was told that muck had accumulated in the sunroof track, and that was the cause of the water seepage. The water must have been seeping through since early summer, some 4 to 5 months after purchase. And since I don't use the sunroof, either the workmanship was shoddy or the muck had already accumulated before my purchase (the car had 6000 miles at the time of purchase). Regretfully, Holman will not stand behind the workmanship of the car, and required that I file claim with the insurance company. The frustration is that they just dismissed the discussion and did not help or suggest anything to keep this customer satisfied. I am sure they will do fine with one less customer in the future. read more

I took my vehicle in for an oil change. It had 25,000 miles on the odometer. I was told that it needed new spark plugs, air filter, new brake calipers, new brake pads and rotor resurfacing for a total of $1,750 including the oil and filter change. I paid only for the oil and filter change and took my vehicle to another mechanic. Toyota said that my front brake calipers were seized/frozen. My mechanic said that my calipers were not frozen, that I did not need the rotors to be resurfaced and only needed brake pads. He said that I did not need new spark plugs at 25,000 miles. I got the necessary work done for $123. I had only paid Toyota $37.14 for the oil and filter change. I saved $1,589.86 by getting a second opinion. The brake calipers estimate and spark plugs estimates were completely bogus. My advice when taking your car to Toyota is get the oil change and diagnosis. Have the oil change done and take your car to another mechanic. I highly recommend Voorhees Tune and Lube. You'll be glad that you did and have plenty of money left in your wallet. Women take heed. Don't just automatically pay Toyota for their estimates. read more

He tries to sell you a bunch of BS extended warranties and if you say not interested, he starts an argument. I said I wasn't interested and can you move on but he said no, you have to listen. Holman Toyota's customer service is horrible. I found the vehicle I wanted through autotrader online. The vehicle was a certified used 2018 Tundra Platinum 4x4 crewmax with 2,400 miles and only about 4 months old. I called Holman Toyota, told them I wanted it. There was no negotiation on price, I agreed to pay the listed price. I live about 500 miles away, and wanted to have the vehicle shipped. For some reason, Holman said that they would not ship it, I had to personally come in and sign. I've purchased several vehicles in the past, and had them shipped with no issues. The vehicle had the color and options I wanted, so I decided to fly out and drive the vehicle back. Holman sent a service rep to pick me up at the airport. I asked them to have everything ready before I arrived, I didn't want to hang around the dealership. Once I arrived, I spent about 3 hours waiting, and about 10 minutes signing paperwork. All of the financing was in place prior to my arrival. There was no reason it should have taken over an hour. Holman was having some type of internal party on February 2nd, I spent the majority of my time sitting and waiting why they were posing for group pictures and celebrating something. The dealership apparently didn't realize they were missing the keys to the bedcover until I arrived. They had to call a locksmith, he was unable to change the lock, so Holman agreed to reimburse me up to $125 to have it replaced at a later date. Prior to buying my plane ticket and agreeing to purchase the vehicle, I was sent a copy of the build sheet for the vehicle with all of the listed options and accessories. Once I arrived, I noticed the truck was missing the factory bed extender and console tray. At this point, I was told, "it's used, you get what's on it". So, before I arrived, it was "better than new, perfect condition". Once I got there, "it's used, I never said it came with everything on the build sheet". Why would you send a customer from out of state a build sheet and not mention that some items on the 3 month old truck had been removed? I also believe that the only reason they made me come in and sign instead of shipping the truck, was to try to sell me the extended warranty's, tire/wheel protection, GAP insurance, etc... My last complaint, is the tags/plates. I purchased on 2-2-18, I had to do a VIN verification once I got back to Ohio. I sent the VIN verification back to them on 2-12-18. My temp tag they gave me expired on 2-21-18. When I had not received my plates by the expiration of the temp, I reached out to the sales person (Lisa Leonetti) on 2-21-18, she said they cannot issue another temp tag. She did not give me a date on when I would receive my plates. I reached out again on 2-24-12, she replied that she'd let me know Monday morning. On Monday afternoon (2-26-18) I reached out again asking for a date, she replied "In process". So, I have a truck sitting in the garage I cannot drive, and no answer on when the dealership will be sending me my plates. I feel like Lisa Leonetti has been screwing me around on my plates because she called me upset about the review I left with Toyota. Bottom Line: The truck is great, but Holman Toyota is horrible to work with. read more
