Our second (or third?) time visiting HOM coffee and was excited about the Yelp! event sponsored here. Brought my W and we tried some new things. Before I get into the tastings, a shout-out to the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and efficient. Our food and drinks came up quickly even during a pretty brisk morning. Plus, the ambiance is very inviting and comfortable. We were happy to find some cozy chairs still available in the "living room" area with the couch. We also had (another) lovely conversation with the owner, Stan, who is so excited to bring a wonderful and tasty "hang" to the neighborhood. OK, to the tasting! I had an iced pistachio latte, and W had a decaf drip. (Side note, I forgot to order decaf... and I was quite lively for my morning Teams meetings!) The latte was truly yummy! Just enough syrup (I always ask for half syrup because I don't want too much sweet), and a lovely nutty coffee flavor with the almond milk. W's coffee was better than the first time we came, when they didn't have decaf, and we are very happy about that! For food, we tried the ham and cheese croissant, which was so good! A little too crispy on the ham as you can see by the picture, but I like a little burned so it was good for me. And the chicken, mushroom, pesto bite was sooooo good! I am going back just for those! W had a blueberry muffin and gave his best praise - and didn't share! Haha! Overall, it's nice to have more options for good coffee and a place to hang within walking distance! Come HOM!

This is Hom Coffee, located at The Exchange at Hercules Bayfront. I stopped here for a coffee and danish. Actually, I ordered a large drip coffee, a cinnamon roll, and a blueberry danish. Then I left a 20% tip. The pastries were fine. They were fresh, soft, and not too sweet. However, the coffee was just warm, and was a bit weak on flavor and aroma. Sorry, minus a star. But the place is nice if you need a place to hangout. Lots of seats and tables. Fancy wireless charging pads will make you stay awhile. If you get bored, right next door is Dream Bowlz. Staff were nice. They zapped my danish in the microwave. Hmm, maybe they should of zapped the coffee too. There's only street parking, and it was limited when I was there in the morning. I might stop by again, after I go to Dream Bowlz.

The café itself was cozy, aesthetic, and welcoming. The charging tables were a nice touch, and I loved that it's tucked away in the corner of Hercules by the shoreline. It's the perfect little spot to relax. I ordered a hazelnut iced latte, and my husband got a regular drip coffee. With my drink, I had the choice between a chocolate croissant or an ube cookie, and I went with the chocolate croissant. It was pretty tasty--I really liked how flaky and buttery the pastry was. My husband also ordered one of the chicken croissants, and honestly, that was even better than the chocolate croissant. Not gonna lie, the coffee just wasn't my cup of... coffee. My hazelnut iced latte tasted more like a regular iced coffee, and it had a pretty burnt flavor without much of the hazelnut coming through. My husband's drip coffee also tasted a little burnt. That said, I think it may have been because they weren't quite ready for the morning rush. There were already quite a few people there when we arrived, and the line kept growing behind us. At the time, there was only one employee working, and she was doing an amazing job handling everything on her own. Thankfully, another team member showed up to help. We ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes for our drinks, which was understandable given how busy they were. I'm definitely planning to come back during a less busy time and give them another try. Next time, I have my eye on the iced matcha latte, and I'm hoping for a better coffee experience because the café itself is such a cute spot

Cruising on I-80 to work or taking a road trip, if you are driving through Hercules and need that pick me up, then forget about that other coffee brand, get off the freeway and find your way here to HOM coffee! Wake up with HOM and support another great community entrepreneurship! Ube cookies with an ube matcha latte...what a pairing. Not ready for sweets but craving something savory, HOM has that too, ready to be warmed up for that delicious bite. Wifi, cordless charging stations, a great atmosphere to hang out, chill, or refuel. Make yourself at HOM Coffee!

Located by the Hercules Waterfront, Hōm Coffee is a new cafe offering cool pastries and coffee/tea. The interior has plenty of seating for people to chill and study. Noticed how there were plenty of wall plugs as well! I liked the concept on how it was located below the new apartments and could definitely see this hidden area becoming more bustling as establishments open. I will say though I was disappointed with their Strawberry matcha...I know matcha is in, but the matcha I had here tasted really off and very sour ? It was also quite expensive at $9-$10. I liked the freeze dried strawberries and strawberry foam, but the matcha wasn't made well. Presentation wise though it was gorgeous. I think I'd have to give this place another try in the future and order their coffee.

Ok, Hercules! I see you! HŌM is a new coffee spot located next to Dream Bowlz by the waterfront. A beautiful and spacious spot with incredibly friendly staff and delicious offerings. Someone ordered a pistachio latte ahead of me in line which sounded delightful, but I wanted to try something trending..an iced banana puree matcha! It's been on my list for a while now, and the staff walked me through their fun matcha menu. The matcha came with what tasted like a banana nut bread topping (see pics), and I was pleasantly surprised that banana matchas are the jam! They also have sweet and savory treats ~ I ordered a ham/cheese croissant that was warmed and served on a plate, and a chocolate chip muffin. Both items were so good, wondering where they are made! There were families and also a lot of laptops inside creating a nice mix and flow of patrons. Would def come back to do some co-working soon. Parking available outside, quick drink turnaround. Cant wait to try a coffee drink next and other yummy brekky treats!

    Cool counter with charging pad!

Awesome yelp event, thanks to yelp for the invite, and to Stan for hosting! The drinks were delicious as well as the food. Stan is very warm and welcoming, the space is super clean and inviting, with great seating options, café style tables and bench, nice chic yet comfy couches, and bar style seating looking out to the street, with those nifty wireless charging ports build right on to the countertop! HOM coffee is a wonderful additional to Hercules! Come check them out neighbors!

Cute coffee shop. Lots of parking and cute interior. A bit slow as only two people working. But have lots of good flavor teas and snacks.

Finally! A good coffee shop in Hercules! I mean consistently good,so far. A couple months ago my hubby stopped in at the soft opening and didn't get a good latte. But we've been going back since it actually opened and have had good lattes, chai, and scones. Part of their business model is, no tipping. The prices reflect it but that is fine. The service has been friendly and good. It's great to see people come here to hang out or work. Yay! One piece of feedback. There really is no need to pipe music outside. Kind of gets in the way of a conversation or just enjoying sitting outside. Thank you, that's all.

New Kid on the Block Hercules' Bay Front Coffee Spot I stopped by Hercules' new coffee shop on the Bay Front really early after my run. The staff were incredibly friendly! I had my dog with me, and while pets aren't allowed inside, one of the team members offered to hold his leash outside so I could place my order and they'd bring it out to me. I really appreciated that they went out of their way to accommodate me instead of losing my business. I tried the strawberry latte with oat milk. It was delicious, though I would have liked it a bit stronger. Overall, it's wonderful to see more options popping up in our small town, and I'm excited to come back and try more!

Nestled in the beautiful new waterfront development, HŌM Coffee is a modern, sleek, and inviting café shop. It's the perfect meeting place, offering great coffee and a relaxing atmosphere that's ideal for catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet break, or getting some work done. The staffs and the owner are very friendly and welcoming. My drink was perfectly made. The coffee was smooth, and the pastries were very delicious as well. I especially love the convenient waterfront location--it's a wonderful spot to grab a coffee before or after a walk along the bay in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. I highly recommend HŌM Coffee to anyone looking for quality coffee, excellent service, and a cozy place to relax. I'll definitely come back!

Staff is friendly and polite. The filipino ensaymada is tasty. Cold brew is cold brew--not bad, as expected. Blueberry muffin was good but couldve used more blueberries. .. but the restroom? So clean. Handsoap? Good. Toilet paper? Not bad. Paper towels? Ok. Overall 9/10 restroom.

Came here twice. Yesterday we came too early and today too late. The folks at HŌM coffee were super nice and served us anyways. We got cold brews and Ube Tres Leche cake. Both were exceptionally great. Next time? Can't wait to try their Cortado.

Clean and quiet and comfortable on an ordinary weekday! I was there to "kill" 45 min, so it was perfect for me. Yes, I will go back.

Are they dog friendly? I go for a walk here and would love to grab a coffee before my walk with my dog.

To bring inside unfortunately no, I tried to bring my dog and he was not allowed in. There are benches and chairs outside to enjoy your coffee with your dog.

What impressed me about their dinner menu is the drinks, very strong and delicious. The food was okay... we ordered a burger with fries and wings. The meat was cooked medium rare, if you don't like it cooked that way make sure you let them know. I really enjoyed the wings, they were well seasoned and give a decent portion. They also charge for extra ketchup which I've never experienced, understandable if it was ranch or some other special sauce but it wasn't. All the servers were polite, attentive and the place was clean and felt welcoming. They have a bar that I'll probably go to next time just for the drinks. I recommend to order their hazelnut espresso martini and the madre mía both drinks were amazing!

My husband and one of my employees both ordered the egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches, which they found highly enjoyable. I selected the avocado toast. While it was satisfactory, the avocado tasted more like a vinegar-based spread than freshly mashed avocado, which is my personal preference. Typically, I appreciate avocado toast prepared with fresh avocado; therefore, this was the sole aspect I would have altered. In summary, my experience was pleasant, and I would undoubtedly return. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service have established it as a location I would gladly revisit, and I anticipate exploring additional menu items on my next visit.
