Our first priority was a new TV and a new receiver and getting confirmation this team could do the work. Well, they can and not only can they do most anything you need, they do it with patience, lots of grace, a sense of humor, total dedication to perfection and without ripping you off. Once you start talking to the people who work here you will find that most of them have been there for over a decade and some of them have been there almost two decades and that's because they love what they do and it shows in every aspect of this process. We had an initial consultation which they credit back to you if you have the work done and then we made our choices with tons of guidance based on our budget and needs. The team came on the day of install and they were clean, professional, knowledgeable and just plain good guys. We had one little hiccup after they left and they immediately came back and fixed it. We started with Quincy in the store to pick out the TV and eventually started working with Alex for the entire set up and he sticks with you through everything until the very end, even follow ups. He's easy to get a hold of and responds directly. Lloyd came to do the once over for install and the guys who came to do the work were Desmond and Alan. I really can't recommend them enough and they made what we thought was going to be a difficult and hard experience something that we quite enjoyed and we are super happy with the end result. Here's hoping it lasts at least another ten years!

As someone around my age with the same passion for amazing sound without millionaire budgets, he got it immediately. He worked with me from start to finish, helping me build a system that punches well above its price point. He helped me select my Paradigm Persona 5F speakers, Audio Research LS27 preamp, Parasound A21+, AudioQuest Niagara 3000, and interconnects. Each brand chosen with intention, Paradigm out of Toronto, Parasound originally based right here in San Francisco, Audio Research from Minnesota, and AudioQuest from Irvine CA. Respected names with solid reputations in the audiophile community that fit my budget without compromising on quality. Any system I was curious about I was able to audition without any pressure or hesitation. That kind of access says a lot about how they treat customers. And it doesn't stop at the sale. They helped with three moves of my audio gear, something regular movers simply are not equipped to handle with equipment this precious. They also helped connect my system which is a level of service you just don't expect from a retailer. That kind of relationship goes well beyond a transaction. The store itself is filled with incredible gear across some of the most coveted lines in the industry. McIntosh, Audio Research, Boulder, Anthem, dCS, and speakers from Paradigm, KEF, Wilson, Sonus Faber, and more. They also specialize in home theater if that's your thing. Just be warned, every visit is a little dangerous to the wallet. And don't overlook their preowned section either, it's where real bargains hide. That's how I picked up my Audio Research preamp for half its original price. This place is a "Music Lovers" dream whether you are just starting out or building your end game system. From the moment we asked for assistance getting the google camera we needed, he came across as impatient and dismissive. Every question we asked seemed like an inconvenience. Instead of providing knowledgeable assistance, his response was, "I have no idea" and "I'd have to look it up," without making any effort to be helpful or reassuring. It also felt like he was in a rush to end the interaction rather than assist us. Customer service is about making customers feel welcome and supported, but unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. His attitude was rude and unprofessional. I hope Best Buy addresses this, because our community deserve courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful service.

He was complaining that my $300 mount was more expensive to remove & install. Then, he couldn't transport it in his van full if stuff. So, my roomate & I had to bring it down on my flat handtruck and put it into my suv. We brought it to the new place and he helped to hold the TV as we wheeled it in. Then he said he couldn't install it on my wall and we had to spend an extra $50 to buy this cheap mount that doesn't move side to side..etc. Then he offered to take my expensive mount & I said No. I only paid him $350 so he would leave. This could be a training issue or a lack of caring/passion for the work. 3. They did not have many of the amplifiers they sell hooked up so it was impossible to hear them. Anyone expecting to drop $$$$ on equipment will want to listen to the products. If you are serious about music and audio equipment, go somewhere else.

Vince was able to integrate the new doorbell/camera so that it interacted with the existing ringer inside our home, making the transition clean and easy. The camera, as well as our ability to answer the front door from the app on our phone, were done, and everything is working well. The dish removal went quickly, and we no longer have the unsightly dish showing on our roof. Vince's charge for the work was reasonable, and the whole experience was easy enough. Hiring a new contractor for anything always comes with a certain amount of concern, but in this case, all those 5-star reviews were accurate. I highly recommend Vince for any of his services.

Brad Melton has helped me bring music and entertainment to my residence for over ten years. There is nothing that Brad cant do. He has wired two houses and two offices for me over the years. He has hooked up plasmas and cellular dishes. He climbed on my roof top and has been under my house. He's hooked up speakers in my walls, ceilings and floors. After several quotes and on-site interviews at my home I settled on Beyond Sound. Mike, the Owner and another employee did a thorough walk-thru and discussion of what I was expecting along with my budget. The system was purchased from several distributors who inventoried upscale audio & video products. The installation started in about two weeks, per Mike's estimated schedule. The install took a couple days including wiring up in the hot attic and down the inside of walls. When completed Mike took lots of time explaining the remote system along with my iPhone connection. Wow, what a sound system with the beautiful TV. Who needs to go to the theater for the perfect sound and picture. I have it all. The finished product and install was on time, within budget, and I actually like Mike, the owner and his employee, who treated my Wife and I like the valued customers we are.
