DO NOT CONSIGN FURNITURE HERE!! Through a fantastic moving company, (honestly they were great) trying to help us consign some furniture for a unit in Las Vegas an entire unit from the Waldorf-Astoria, was consigned to this store . They are unwilling and unable to provide receipt receipts with redacted customer information on how much these items actually sold for and scribbled on an inventory sheet how much they claim that they have sold for. The woman, Chris, basically told me that she's not going to do that and then hung up on me. I have never encountered a less professional consignment store in the years that I have consigned furniture, personally and professionally.. they donated a side table without giving us the opportunity to pick up nor did they give us any notification that they were going to donate it. I would avoid this place like the absolute plague it is.. as soon as they take your money, they do not want to be held liable for proving how much the furniture actually sells for. There are numerous other places that will be honest and be able to provide receipts with redacted customer information. They claimed to be a "mom and pop shop" but the inventory list is printed from some sort of inventory software, I assume the sale price should also be listed in the same system (how else would they be able to keep track of the consignment amounts to be paid out?- it's by contract number). They are dishonest and rude and dismissive. Of the over $10,000 worth of furniture that they take 50% of.... It's not with the headache or the loss of income. Do not do business with this store, and "Chris" you should probably retire if you're so absolutely miserable and rude to the people who are providing you with income. Shame on you. read more

I spotted a fabulous brand new modern wood & glass top side table that just came off the truck originally marked as $650 priced at $59. A brand new white chenille crescent shaped sofa from Century Furniture only $699. Brand new upholstered Thomasville swivel chair only $299 Sales team and warehouse guys are always so helpful here. Great consignment store. Only thing is that there seems to be more employees than customers at any given moment I walk in. Employees seem to be in competition with each other with every customer that steps foot inside. I've had my ear talked off when I really just wanted to focus on looking at the furniture. Finally found end tables for my living room! I had been looking everywhere, online and in person at so many places and finally found a set of nesting tables at a good price here. This was probably my third time looking in this store over a couple months time but I'm so happy with my purchase. Since it's consignment you have to be patient but hopefully you'll find whatever you're looking for without too much trouble. Gentleman who helped us offered to carry the tables out to our car and helped us with our selection. Home Consignment Center has been on my furniture hit list since discovering them over 10 years ago. With locations all over Southern Ca you can always find some cool, barely used, designer furniture for less. They keep their showroom/ warehouse stock piled high so you have to navigate between the rows and rows of furniture to spot the goods. I've noticed that the Yorba Linda location carries a lot more traditional furniture so definitely scout your locations before you make the trek. Think about the community that would consign local furniture here and hopefully that will help guide your search. The Irvine outpost on Teller is probably one of my faves for inventory alone. When I shopped this Yorba Linda location they were unloading a huge truck of furniture so you know they get tons of new shipments as well. This store is one of the hidden gems in our area. It is located at the very back of Savi Ranch, across from Dicks Sporting Goods. The Home Consignment Center has an assortment of gently used or like new furniture and home decor for sale. The bargains that can be obtained here are unbelievable! The items they sell are quality; no junk here. I've bought numerous things here over the last decade, such as diamond jewelry (among other items), solid maple dining room table and chairs, china, pictures, and the list goes on. I have also Sold here! It's so easy to purge unwanted home items here. I was given a fair price for my item and now someone else gets to enjoy it. The jewelry department is wonderful. It's managed by Mirtha; a very nice woman. They have rolexes as well as all types of quality jewelry for sale. I go here first when I want a gift. This store is genuinely a fun place to browse on a lazy Saturday. I recommend it highly! read more

I go to this consignment store to look and browse their jewelries. They have gigantic gems and diamonds. Lots of cheaper selections. I just haven't decided how big of a diamond I want my husband to buy me. While waiting on that, I go and sell my stuff, too. I just moved here in Anaheim hills and have lots of furnitures and lamps to sell. They are very easy to sell here. They set the price, they sell your items and they get half. You get your check in the mail. Items here are not all used. We got our dining set at a much lesser price and they were brand new with plastic covers in them. Even today, after two years, the plastics are still on! Hahahha. We also found a very nice patio set but went back and it was sold. I recommend this place to buy, sell, or just browse. read more

I have been here several times looking for furniture but have yet to find a piece that draws my eye. I did see on one occasion something that was interesting, but there was some damage in an indiscriminate area, so I ended up not buying. For these kinds of stores, you'd probably have to come often and know what you're looking for, just a quick browse. I didn't really see the inventory change much, maybe it's seasonal? Not sure, but it's a warehouse with consignment items, so it's not like it needs to be pretty since it's the furniture they are selling. I'll drop by occasionally just to browse, but who knows, I might find a treasure one day. read more

On the home consignment website it advertises the ways you can consign pieces at their stores . On many occasions I have sent photos to their Yorba linda store and been told they don't consign from looking at photos or "they may be interested but they need to see the furniture in person or they didn't respond to me at all so I sold the items on eBay or other consignment stores. Maria the stores manager came to one of my homes which was over 10,000 sq feet and she took everything I had to consign including smaller items like lamps and accessories. They sold almost everything and as advertised they paid shortly after . I am redecorating one of my homes in Palm Springs and once again sent photos , had my staff show them at the store photos of items and sent emails all of which produce the same response. "We don't consign from photos we need to see the items in person" basically save yourself time and energy by following the instructions listed on the website and schedule one of their sales staff to go to your house . They advertise that it's easy and you don't have to have total strangers come to your house but the bottom line is if you want to get anything in their Yorba Linda store you will have to schedule someone to come and personally take a look at the items for consignment. read more

I called Home Consignment Center in Yorba Linda after we moved into our new house and had some furniture/art work that needed a home. They sent someone out to our house quickly and when she arrived she assessed what she thought would sell, shared the pricing info with me and answered all my questions. While it is "consignment" they have to be picky because their reputation is for quality stuff so I was thrilled with what they did take of ours and not at all disappointed at what they didn't (which was very little by the way). They even helped us arrange for a pick-up on short notice to get our stuff into the store for Black Friday. After calling around to a couple movers that they work with, they were able to send movers the next day. They sent a paper to the house summarizing what they will be selling and we just received a check from them around a month out (most of our stuff sold)! Yes it's true that they take half of the sales price and that you can probably get more if you sold it on Craigslist yourself......but you'd be doing it all by yourself. Just got a killer deal on a brand new leather couch here! Couldn't be happier with couch we got for our new house. Looked up the couch by part number and it's online for triple the amount we paid. The stuff they have is nice, unique and we got a great price. It's a good mix of new and things on consignment. You have to go often because stuff comes in daily and moves quickly. Highly recommend! Not at all what I was expecting, this is nothing like the sad furniture selection at Goodwill, but the prices also reflect that the quality and condition of the items is much better. Huge store, endless selection, a bit too cluttered to be able to view all the items without distractions. Tons of beautiful items, unique pieces, all well made and well chosen to suit every style of home. The inventory here is very good. I've spent between $10-8k here over the past seven years. The low rating is who they contract for delivery (that guy gets zero stars). This also will make me question whether or not I need to give them anymore money. I've always picked up myself (renting a truck from the Home Depot nearby) but this time I decided to use delivery. If you do that make sure you get the ACTUAL PRICE IN WRITING. I was quoted what was already a pretty high amount but the item was too heavy for me. First I burned an afternoon waiting for them to show up. Was quoted "between 1-2pm" and he showed up more than an hour later (and lied to me about "traffic on the 91" as if I couldn't look that up on Waze - all green). Then he demanded a much higher amount for delivery because I was "too far" - which he knew the location when I was quoted the original price. So I had to pay up to get my item. Because we personally saw what was being sold we decided to submit pictures of our piece of furniture that we wanted sold but they never got back to us to let us know if they would accept the piece or not. Mirta is extremely dishonest and ripped me off. I confronted her about it and she looked me straight in the eyes and lied to my face. So disappointed that a grown woman would be so dishonest. I've visited this store quite a few times in the past few years and mostly drooled over large items I have no space for but this time I came it was different. Many items seemed like they were more fit for a normal sized home which is great news. Most people buying at a consignment store are looking for a deal (hence not buying new)... I found a pair of gorgeous framed art that match my home decor perfectly. They came from a high end furniture decor store based on tags on back. Not only were they reasonably priced from the get go but they also reduced the price a little at my request due to a small imperfection. I love this store. I didn't even know this place existed as we just kind of stumbled upon it while checking out some of the local furniture stores in Savi Ranch. The space is pretty huge and it's jam packed with goods in the massive space. They have a lot of odds and ends, art pieces and a ton of good quality furniture on the cheap. Because it's all consignment, the prices are a little all over the place, but for the most part, it's super reasonable and a lot cheaper than Ashley or Lazy Boy nearby. For some of the more unique items, they have ebay listings printed out and placed nearby for reference so you can see what a bargain you're getting. Also, because there are different dealers offering pieces, you might run into some pretty gaudy things as well - but to each their own. For those that are into jewelry, they also have a counter for that too. That was super popular with ladies looking at rings and other accessories. It seems like there are quite a few real estate people and home stagers that frequent this place to make their listings look good - I don't blame them as the stuff really is nice and I'm sure it pays for itself pretty quickly. I definitely recommend if you're in the area and seeking out some bigger pieces of real wood furniture. You might save yourself some significant moola in the process! read more

Just a short review to warn fellow shoppers: this consignment store, a place where you can easily spend an hour or two browsing and potentially spend literally hundreds or thousands of dollars does not provide their customers with a restroom. I was in this afternoon and asked where the restroom was located (the store is very, very large) and was directed two doors down to use the bathroom at Wahoo's Fish Taco. Consignment stores are great for picking up nice quality furniture at below retail prices. I use to think most of the stuff in these stores was used but actually a lot of it is just warehouse overstock. So you could get a brand new piece of furniture for 30-40% off retail. I like to check it out every couple weeks because inventory is always changing. The place is packed to the walls with furniture so you really have to look around to find something interesting. And you really never know what they're have. I once saw a barber pole in there. Here's a tip, if you ask them about the price they might be able to discount it another 20-25% off. This awesome home consignment store had the absolute best high end decor with excellent prices for any budget. The locals proudly buy and sell their furnishings here. A great place to pick up some very unique and custom designed quality items for your home. I was surprised to know that they have several beautiful cases of one of a kind jewelry too. I love staging homes with furnishings from Home Consignment Centers. We purchased items form the Centers in Austin, Irvine-Newport, and Yorba Linda. When We had a huge mirror come apart at the hanging brackets, they replaced it, which meant they had to drive a long way to switch. I completely furnished my mountain vacation home with furnishings from Yorba Linda. The delivery guys carried everything up, five flights of stairs with two just to get in the front door. After I sold the home, I moved the furniture to three other homes my family live in and we all still like the used furniture. It's wonderful to get a down Drexel Heredon sofa for only $600 and a heavy gorgeous partner's desk for $800. read more

There's some really unique pieces here. Lots of fun to walk around and look at everything. Some are new and some are used and on consignment. Some stuff completely overpriced and other things within reason. There's always stuff coming in so worth going often and taking a look around. Most everyone is nice and they are not on an individual commission basis (which I like). Instead it's a group effort...or at least that's what I was told. If I'd suggest anything, it would be that they call you and tell you your piece has sold instead of waiting for the once monthly check to go out to everyone who had sold something. read more
