Breakfast burrito

We love this hidden Arvada gem. Wonderful service, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito smothered and traditional Benedict. The French toast is good, but nothing too notable. Drinks are a little pricey for what you get but all-in-all, highly recommend!

Hidden Gem. Think snooze meets steuben's at half price. Sleepy part of Arvada burbs in a plaza across from a gas station, but we're not here for ambiance or even service. But I must say it's one of the few I'd drop a 30% tip and still walk away overwhelmed with satisfaction. Breakfast food exceptional, service genuinely giving. (yes try those oat pancakes!)

Spacious cafe. A bit cold. Prompt and friendly service. French toast was off the charts! Crepe Florentine was loaded with stuffing. They are on top of coffee refills.

Great food and great service. I have been here numbers times, and have never been disappointed. The staff is cheerful and helpful. I had the sunrise which is hash browns eggs and topped with delicious green Chile.

Solid sandwich shop in Olde Town! I didn't have any issues with the wait like some of the reviews…read moreI've seen mentioned, but they have darts and foosball to kill the time if it's taking awhile. It is definitely a little pricey- $25/person for a sandwich, chips and a beer/seltzer- but the sandwiches are good and are big enough that it left me stuffed so it's a decent value.

We stumbled upon Lloyd's while walking in Old Town Arvada, and I was very much in the mood for a…read moregood sandwich. We popped in and checked out the menu. It took about 5 minutes for us to be greeted by anyone working; there were two employees working behind the counter, both were busy making sandwiches. Eventually one let us know it was going to be a few more minutes before they could take our order, to which I didn't mind - I recognize it takes time to make sandwiches. We waited for a bit (probably ~10 minutes), and then decided to place an order with them online and continue walking around while we waited. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be ready, so maybe this is the best way to go about ordering so you're not just standing around. To clarify, I didn't mind waiting but it also made sense to place the order and then walk around while waiting. I ordered the North of I70 Italian sandwich, and indicated that I wanted mayo, mustard and oil + vinegar. My wife ordered the sweet baby turkey, and also asked for mayo and salt + pepper. Neither of our sandwiches had any condiments on them (pic included). Each sandwich cost $20, and while I realize that the price of good deli meat has gone up, it was definitely a bummer to not have exactly what we ordered on a sandwich that costs so much - $40+ for 2 standard size sandwiches. The other thing to note is that the mushrooms are not fresh - also included a pic of the mushrooms which I assume come from a can/jar. Had I known the mushrooms were not fresh, I would not have ordered them. I was really rooting for this place to be good, but was overall disappointed in the experience and outcome of our order.

I had high hopes for the Eddy but my experience there was that the food was just OK. I ordered…read moreburnt ends from their barbecue food truck and they weren't really ends or burnt. They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . I think I would stop back here on my way back from hiking or climbing in the canyon but I hope to be a little more impressed by the food next time.

Yes we were told we could even bring her inside. This made all the adults so happy. We sat in/out near a huge back patio set with games and other dog owners came and went. Food selection was nice, and there were a few options for a diner with gluten restrictions, though not a dedicated gf prepared. Two men ate burgers, and I had the fried green tomato blt it was very good. So many fries on the side. Service was a smidgen slow, the waiter was attentive until near the end of our meal as more folks came and went in the restaurant. We waited a little to get final check. Great patio/pub dining inside the restaurant. Super dog friendly.
