We decided to get a new front door to allow sunlight in, however we also wanted it to provide ventilation. After visiting the showroom and speaking with the Team, we realized they didn't have anything on the floor that was an exact fit, but what they did have on the floor was inspirational and gave us plenty of ideas and the Team encouraged and helped us to come up with our own design. They even helped us choose the right hardware to complement it with. The end result is simply AMAZING and we couldn't be happier with our new door. It is EVERYTHING we were looking for. We even made a trip back up to the showroom just to thank the Team and show them pictures. The Team now has pictures of it in their portfolio. The door is farmhouse style with a screened wrought iron grid with an operational glass sash (half door) that we can open to allow in fresh air. Again, the customer service and quality of the delivered product is first rate and second to none. We love our door and the help we had in making it a reality!! Well last Friday I came at 5:10pm and of course it was closed because their business hours are from 9am to 5pm so It was my fault but I am here right now Minday February 21st 2022 at 3:41pm and it is CLOSED AGAIN So unprofessional and disrespectful for the public. He's who I originally worked with because of his good reviews.  Richard nickel and dimed us throughout the project, made verbal agreements and then went back on them, and did not manage the job being the licensed contractor. He used an unlicensed tile guy.  All of the tile had to be removed because the vapor barrier was not installed correctly not to mention the grout lines were uneven.  Tiles just fell from the wall due to not being secured to the wall properly.  Not only did I have to spend my time removing the Shotty tile work but I also had to replace the tile that was wasted costing me another $150.  The only time I saw him was to check status of the job and collect payment. He does not do any of the work. He does not use a licensed plumber or tile professional and is the most unprofessional contractor I have worked with. I have had a full kitchen remodel, Ac install, plumbing contractor and other jobs around the house to name a few. I started documenting the account of our interactions once I felt he was trying to take advantage of me. Communication was rude and I did not feel like I was given common courtesy of status updates or schedules for the on going project. My family and I were put at risk during asbestos tile being removed by a kid clearly not trained in asbestos abatement.  Richard wasn't present for that nor did he warn me of the health risks or have me evacuate my animals and family.  All of the materials were carried through the house and at no time were we warned.  Lack of communication with his team and with myself on what I am required to pay for and what is provided.  Richard told me I did not need to be home during the bathroom remodel however I was home and a good thing too.  All of his crew had so many questions that I had already went over with Richard.  The major details of the job were not clear to his crew and they needed verification to do the work.  So the job was delayed 5 days 1 of which cost me $420 and the other four days due to Richard double booking his work. June 23 Richard stopped by to collect payment for the completed steps of the job. I was not home but he met with my wife where he proceeded to tell her that he had to "stick to his guns" and charge us the extra $400 for the tile. She did not agree and asked that he speak with me since he made the deal with me now twice. He never contacted me and on Sunday night around 9:30 pm he text me to tell me that due to personnel issues he would not be working on the project on Monday morning as promised. The job was quoted to take 3 weeks. We are now on week four and decided we no longer wanted to work with him. We ended up paying over $6,000 dollars and 3 weeks of our time rearranging schedules to accommodate his workers schedules and still do not have the use of our bathroom.  Once I saw how unfinished his website is I should have trusted my gut instinct to not do business with him. Pay the extra money for a professional if you want the job done right the first time.  That's the kind of unfinished project you can expect from Richard.

We "thought" we had selected the Crema Marfil granite counter tops that we wanted to accompany a shower that we recently re-did but when it came in, it looked nothing like the sample we had seen a few short weeks before. Sure enough, it wasn't. Our subcontractor cut the wrong piece and either tried to pass it off as Crema Marfil or he really didn't know what Crema Marfil was supposed to look like. Our General Contractor (who was fantastic btw) suggested that we start looking at stone in the area to see what was available and to confirm if we still liked the Crema Marfil. One of the vendors that he asked us to check out was Picasso which specializes in pre-fabricated granite countertops. Since our needs were straight forward, we just needed to find a stone that matched our flooring and crema marfil tile that we just installed in a nearby shower. The choices here were great and very easy to rule out the one's we didn't like and focus on the one's we did. We found two slabs that we really liked and with Ricki and Jimmy's help, we were able to select the one that we ultimately wanted to purchase. Once you select a slab, they won't let you pull it out unless it is paid for in full. They will help you flip through to choose a pattern that best suits your needs but they will not pull it out completely for you to look at. This is completely understandable because if the piece breaks, it's ruined. The less they handle, the less of a chance they get damaged. The piece we selected was the Colonial Cream and we could not be happier. The granite was finally installed just yesterday and it looks fantastic. We are more than pleased with our choice. The best thing - we paid less in fabrication costs because most of the work was already done. Score! A huge shout out to Jimmy and Ricki for providing excellent customer service while we were there. We will be back when we are ready to tackle other projects in the house. Can't wait!
