Because of all the good reviews I sent out for a dozen Donuts to share with Family & we were all very disappointed, the donuts seemed old and starchy & the glaze which is my absolute favorite had hardly any glaze on it... I had to check twice to make sure it was in fact a glaze donut I was having & every one else that tried that dozen agreed with me:/ It was a Saturday morning. This is our go to place for breakfast sandwiches now. I found it randomly as I was alone without the kiddos and wanted to grab a quick breakfast near our home. It's a reasonable price for the huge egg, cheese, and sausage croissant breakfast sandwich. My husband likes the bacon sausage egg and cheese and the kids like the bacon egg and cheese brkfst sandwiches. The cronuts aren't bad but a tad too sweet for me. Nice and friendly service. Stopped in @ 8a today & bought chocolate bar & a ham & cheese croissant. Server didn't smile once, very short with convo. While driving I started to eat my ham & cheese & the ham was hard & I chewed for about 10 seconds then had to spit it out! Refused to eat the rest! Get to work, take bite of my donut and it taste burnt. It wasn't physically burnt but it was the oil that it was fried in that gave it the nastiest taste of burnt oil! I love this place. I recently tried the watermelon smoothie. I loved it but being lactose intolorant, my stomach didn't. My aunt recently tried a cronut (basically a flakey donut) and she loved it. The prices are reasonable and it sells items that are not just donuts. read more

They charge a .50 credit card fee on ALL transactions. Bring cash. Service can be a bit slow at times. A toasted bagel should not take more than a few minutes if you're the only person waiting. read more

So here it is, my first review of this app. For this place Overall cleanliness and sanitation is 4/5 they can make this place a little nicer by making few renovations. Service is 5/5. People working here are extra nice to customers and they give you your order with a smile. Don't ask me about the food because they are explosive. Bomb af. I've now been here about 6-7 times and they are SO NICE. Now I just walk in and they know who I am and go ahead and start getting my order ready - a #6 + an iced coffee with caramel. I would highly recommend this place if you want a great and quick breakfast sandwich on a croissant or bagel (YUM!). Also, give their cronuts a shot!!! They are super sweet but DELICIOUS. This place used to have the BEST blueberry muffins. But they changed their recipe when the ownership changed. I asked why they are using a new recipe and they said the newer population in the area thought they were too sweet. They are just an average don't shop now. read more

This is the best donut shop I've ever been to! It looks like an average donut shop but their donuts are always soft and fresh- the chocolate old fashions are my favorite and the best I've ever had and they're usually the first to go. Definitely recommend this shop. read more

I found cronuts! I actually hadn't heard much about them before entering the store. The cute lady behind the counter was really excited about them and insisted I try it. She said they had made them previously but they weren't that good but she said they got it down now. So I took her up on it and got a maple glazed cronut and they were gooood! I'm definitely a fan! I also bought an apple fritter and they're more on the crunchy side but nonetheless good! I'll be back for more cronuts! read more

Overall nothing special, but not bad. Tried a Cronut today. Glazed one was good but I still prefer a regular donut. The maple one was very oily, dry and maybe overcooked. Vanilla frappe was okay too. I didn't try anything else but I wouldn't go back for a Cronut. read more

Two friendly ladies just sold me some fantastic donuts. Their raspberry jelly and old-fashioneds were perfect. I picked mine up at the end of the night, i.e. they shouldn't be as fresh, and they are still fantastic now over a day later. Plus, they have delicious and reasonably priced cronuts too. read more

What's going on at this Home Style Donut store? I walked in there a little before 1 in the afternoon July 13, 2015. I tapped on the counter, called out for someone to help me, then knocked loudly on the counter. I called out even louder. I even tried calling them but no one answered my call. Some one was about to walk in when I explained to them that it appeared that no one was working there. He called the La Mirada Police Department. When the police showed up he discovered an employee (female) asleep on the floor in the back room. No, I'm not going to be going back to this place. read more
