I also love the cute pink decor and seating area -- it gives the place a warm neighborhood feel. The gentleman (owner) is always so kind and friendly and makes every visit pleasant. In all fairness, I can't rate the food as I solely stopped in for my weekly lottery scratchers as I was in the area (it smelled good though). Tickets are sold at the counter as well as via a machine inside. Owner was very nice. read more

Ever since they've gotten new management, the store has gone down hill, 2 times this has happened to me. I ask for a bacon egg and cheese bagel, the owner takes 20 minutes to make it and instead of a bagel, I get a croissant sandwich instead. I miss the old owners, they never messed up like this. read more

I use to love this donut place for their breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Since their recent management change, I've come in a few times and been very disappointed. This most recent visit when I came in, I waited almost 25 minutes for my sandwich. Just for it to be wrong and not what I ordered. :( they provided me with the wrong meat, but also the bacon wasnt thoroughly cooked and the whole sandwich needed to be recooked at home so I could enjoy it safely. The donuts are fresh and the service is fast and friendly! Parking is a breeze! Coffee is great! The Cream Puffs sold here are the main reason for writing this review... My son had a project at school! He had to write a report on the country he chose! The class had a luncheon and they all had to bring a dish based on the country! My boy had Nigeria so I had to get some Nigerian Puff Puffs or Chin Chins! I didn't want to drive all the way to Inglewood because that's the closest I could find this dessert. It was either make them myself or get creative! I went with option B! I found these delightful little, lightly fried, powdered balls of dough with a cream filling! They were perfect! All the students loved them! The teachers and parents all asked where did we get them! Thanks Yelp and Yelpers! Without the reviews I would have attempted to bake! This is a great place for donuts, coffee or a croissant breakfast sandwich! They have a wide variety of donuts that are always fresh, pillowy soft, not too sweet and melt in your mouth deliciousness. The croissant sandwiches are made to order and are hot, yummy and oh so good. i used to go to a place down the street from K & T that had arguably the best boston donuts but they were really lax on enforcing mask wearing and they were always allowing customers to sit and eat inside when it was not allowed at the time, so I decided to begin going to K & T instead for all my donut needs and I haven't been disappointed since. This place does not have the large variety like some other places, but where it lacks in variety it makes up in quality and value. Their donuts are much larger than most places and cooked and glazed to perfection. The flavors they use don't taste artificial at all. They have the best maple bars I have ever had and their apple fritters are enormous, fried crisp on the edges, with just the right amount of apple. They do an outstanding job limiting the amount of patrons that are inside to place orders. I feel safe coming here and I feel like they're doing everything in their power to keep their shop clean and safe. read more

This donut shop seems to be known for their Cream Cheese Puffs. These little goodies are 4 for $1. Brought 8 back to share with the family. Both nieces liked the dough, but were not crazy about the filling. My wife and I thought it tasted fine. (3.5 stars) Maple French Cruller was very good. Not all shops make french crullers so when I come across them, I must try one. So happy that their version did not disappoint! (4.5 stars) Both the ambiance and the service was good. Shop was clean, and they had a couple of tables for folks to dine at. They are also a Lucky Retailer for 2014 and 2015! Make sure to buy your ticket! Been coming here for years... but decided to find another donut shop. I found a gross hair in a Buttermilk donut. I understand it can happen, but it was the annoying way that the guy here reacted as to why our family WON'T RETURN! After I got home & past out the donuts I broke open the buttermilk donut & bit a piece. When I went to break off another piece I started to pull it apart & their it was a GROSS THICK PIECE of HAIR. I drove back to the shop & waited patiently till the workers helped other customers. I went up to whisper what the problem was & the worker said No. No Hair, in Total disbelief . I had to speak up & he shook his head No. So I raised my voice & Pointed at the donut in a napkin that I was holding in my hand. He looks down & his reaction was as if he didn't know what a hair looked like. He took it from me walked away & came back & said I Don't have anymore of these & shrugged his shoulders. He told me pick another. So I did even though I was Grossed out & annoyed.... He tossed it the bag & put it on the counter & walked away. NOT AN APOLOGY, Not even a Thank you for being understanding. Forget this gross place , I know their Donuts are fresh but they obviously are Not careful enough because there is Hair in the Donut. I drive to Whittier Blvd & Beach Blvd now. Best shop over there. Love this place made a call about getting donuts made and the gentleman was more than happy to help me. Got the donuts ordered for my daughters birthday no problem at all and even cream puffs like we had at my wedding. I tried contacting different places but no response. So disappointed. I was really looking forward to trying the cream puffs every one was raving about, but they were not very tasty at all. Not enough filling, like literally nothing inside and they were very warm. My fiancé got an ice blended drink, and I got a thai iced tea. Tried this place for the first time today because my new job is next to it. Tried the cream puffs and it was amazing. Light, fluffy and delicious. I will definitely make this a break time spot. I purchased some donuts and milk one morning and when I went to pay with my debit card I was told it was an extra 50 cent since the purchase was under $10. I think it's bad service to be charged to use your debit card. So on my future trips there I would bring exact cash amount and always received service from the female owner. However, on or about my 10 visit there the man decide to charge me an extra nickel for my donut. Again, bad customer service to spring the price of the donut up without any posting of the price going up to $1.15 for a marble bar donut. I feel he just charged what he want when he want at the spur of the moment. He just lost my business. K&T Donuts need to be honest and consistent with their prices. Called the day before to Order 36 glazed donuts for my daughters class, I signed up to bring. Lady that worked there said no problem, just come in, We always have that many...NOT! Really??!?! No apology, Rude and Not even nice about entire disappointing experience. There were only 8 in display case....why refuse my phone request, I would of pre-paid by phone or even in person! Your $$ loss, this time and forever. Now instead of my daughter being late, I have to drop her off, scramble to find donuts, and interrupt the class rooms just to drop off. The donuts are great; I am a maple bar or jelly-filled kind of guy and I'm always very satisfied. My family enjoys the donut holes, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls as well. The customer base is as loyal as it gets with groups hanging out in the morning hours. If you're in the mood for something salty, try the croissant sandwiches with eggs that are cooked on a griddle.
