Let's gooooo! What used to be an old office space has now turned into a 24 hours donut shop near my job. Score! The entire space has been cleaned up, and is sparkling new. It's best accessed by entering from Shoemaker as the corner donut shop is across 7-11 and next to a tire/auto body shop. There's donuts, muffins, croissants, sandwiches, coffee, Tortas- and a lot of variety too. Service great and friendly, stop and see for yourself the variety they got. Quality is fresh and delicious. I loved the donut holes- they were huge! My highlight and new fave is the jalapeño cream cheese danish. Parking: few spaces available on the entrance off of shoemaker.

    Amazing selection!!!!

Very clean store inside. Friendly employees. Ordered a ham, egg, and cheese on a French bagel and it was up to par. Love Winchell's glad we got one nearby now.

Since it was our first time (thanks to tik tok!), Henry went over the menu and shared his personal favorites as well as the most popular among customers. He did tell us they are known for their sandwiches. We went with one breakfast burrito and the granada sandwich, respectfully. We had them cut in half too. We then decided to eat the burrito (she had half and I had half) and save the sandwich for dinner later that day. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. I would say 8/10. It was a good size as well which is why we shared it. Now, when we had the sandwich (shared as well) later for dinner OMG it was delicious!! Every ingredient mixed well together. So much flavor! We got jalapeño aioli as a dipping sauce and man oh man was it good! We will definitely be returning! And honestly, I can't wait! Some notes: If you need to use the restroom, you gotta head over to the movie theater across the way as Monty's does not have a public restroom. Be patient as there is a wait time. It wasn't packed at all, but we believe there aren't many cooks back there. It's okay though, totally worth it in our opinion.

We all ordered sandwiches, and despite there being no other customers in the restaurant, it took nearly 30 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the turkey sandwich with mayo on the side, but it arrived without the cheese or onions that were supposed to be included. The employee at the counter was very apologetic, which I appreciated, but it didn't make up for the long wait and incorrect order. In total, we spent $56 on sandwiches that were mediocre at best. Sadly, the food and overall experience did not live up to the positive reviews.

I've tried their signature The Melrose, which consists of black forest ham, oven roasted turkey, bacon, melted White American cheese, topped with house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in their "Melrose" spread) and tomato. I absolutely love this sandwich!! It's packed with so much flavor, and the bun absorbs all of the juicy goodness, making every bite incredibly satisfying. Runner-up for me is the Uncle Nikki. This one has Genoa salami, pepperoni, capicola, provolone cheese, also topped with their house slaw. I've only ordered from here through Postmates, and every time their packaging is excellent--they wrap each sandwich in this cute wrapper, which adds a fun touch and keeps everything neatly intact and fresh by the time it arrives. Each sandwich is around $12 (as of June 2026), and I honestly think it's worth the price because these sandwiches are huge and so good!!

.., meet Whittier's Uptown hero!…read more My experience here was from 6/26/26 & it did not disappoint. Though I've been to Uptown Provisions twice before to support my friend Andrew M, as well as my other friend Andrew P. with Satori Coffee Project, this was my actual visit where I finally ate! Third times the charm! Tucked nicely into a Penn St. neighborhood, Uptown Provisions can easily be spotted by the loyal patrons waiting/dining outside. May the street parking gods be kind to you as they always provide me with a spot nearby. Knowing what I already wanted from doing my menu homework the night prior, I was practically drooling on my way in. Greeted by a great staff & friendly fellow patrons, I felt right at home. I went with the "Tom's Way" sandwich. Dedicated to one of their favorite customers, it's a crossover between an egg sandwich & a pastrami. It was perfect! Chef Aaron describes his sandos as the perfect West Coast sandwich, & that I can totally agree with. Tom's Way provided me with a robust sandwich blend that never knew I needed until now. Each component's flavor profile blended together nicely. I'm usually hit or miss with rye bread, but this rye hit the mark & held the ship together. The eggs were made with care & prepared in a way I've never tasted before, very delicious. Pastrami was tender, pickled onions provided the bitter tangy component while the broccoli slaw became the soothing blanket that nestled every flavor together. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They post a 20 minute wait time but I got mine in 15. Great things come to those who wait. They do not have a public bathroom so plan your visit accordingly. They have a few counter seats inside with plenty more outdoor seating in front with friendly locals chatting it up. Don't be shy with the napkins. Thank you Uptown Provisions for a great experience, I shall return!

The rice tasted like Filipino garlic rice, which was a nice touch. Overall, really good. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and didn't need extra sauce, which I always look for in good BBQ. Portion was solid for around $15-$16+. Customer service was great, everyone was friendly and welcoming. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall in a plaza, but there's plenty of parking. The funny thing is that her brisket wasn't as smoky as mine. It was pretty dry though. I had the sandwich,,, I think it was the 405. Anyway I took most of the meat out because it was very dry and very very smoky. The dressing and greens were good. The brisket was All smoke no flavor, no juicy, no wanting to eat the full sandwich. I also ordered sweet potato fries and they were good but the portion was very small for the price. Since it was so busy, I ended up ordering to go. Food: * Bacon & Cheese Sandwich - Super delicious, but I'll be honest... it's messy . Everything inside is very soft and rich, which made it a little hard to eat. The packaging helped, but my hands were still super greasy by the end. Flavor-wise though? So good. Just be prepared--it's definitely on the heavier side. I needed water right after because it's that indulgent. Perfect cheat day breakfast. Drinks: * Biscoff Latte (with espresso + oat milk) - This leaned more toward a strong coffee flavor with subtle hints of Biscoff, which I actually really liked. I was in the mood for more coffee than sweetness, so it hit perfectly. Overall, really tasty food and drinks--just know what you're getting into. It's rich, messy, and totally worth it when you're in the mood for something indulgent.
