I had a store basket with the items I wanted to purchase and had placed it on the belt. Ive,I've, customers do this and when I use a basket I've done the same. I've never had a cashier tell me to empty the basket on the belt. They've either taken the items out themselves to scan or the tilt the basket sideways and scan the items items. Michelle told me to empty the basket because she couldn't lift the basket. She said that she was 55yo and didn't want to get injured on the job. I mentioned that I had disabilities also and in particular arthritis in my upper body and extremity joints. I'm in my 60's. Its strange that she couldn't lift the basket but had no difficulty lifting the backs onto the counter and lifti g the basket onto the floor.
