This place had some good pizza! Be forewarned, it is not a restaurant to swing by if you're in a hurry - the wait was fairly lengthy. Additionally, it seems to be pretty popular, so the limited seating room inside was quite full. Outside seating is available, but if there is any potential for rain (as there very much was when we went), only some of the outside tables are sheltered, so you may get a bit damp. Lastly, the line was pretty long, and there isn't much room inside (again, small restaurant), so there was a lot of moving around to let other customers around us. But, the food, as I said, is very good. So, if you're not worried about time or tight quarters, I'd recommend checking this place out! read more

Used to really enjoy homeslice. However, I have discovered the joys of JBo's pizza. I still like home slice, I enjoy that I can get a single slice but I don't know about their cooking method. Each pizza is cooked twice, they take them out of their oven then they put them back in to heat them up. I know they do that with the single slices, and I have seen it done with the whole pizzas when they are ordered. I like my crust a bit crispy so I don't mind it however I have had some come out a bit more well done than others and bordering burnt. read more

Excellent garlic rolls is soooo garlicky!! So hot and buttery too!! On to the main event: the pizza! We had it by the slice. I know you are thinking it is going to be crummy reheated pizza. Two small pizzas, a salad and 2 sodas for $60 I expected something really delicious. They had good service good atmosphere the only thing that was bad was the food itself. Garlic knots were cold and almost hard. How do you get a pepperoni pizza wrong? Barely any sauce. This would probably rate at 4 stars if price was comparable to the quality and taste. I have no idea what is wrong with Homeslice Pizzas lately, but their quality control is severely lacking. We thought we would order a 16" pizza from the College location as the one on Camino Del Rio has been consistently shorting us on quality: namely rolling out their crust to the 16" diameter we paid for and not handing us a doughball with a pile of toppings on it. We were incredibly disappointed that this location did the same thing on a take and bake pizza a few weeks back. My wife called to point out that they failed to make a decent pizza, charging us for a 16" pie when it was distinctly a 12" pie. The manager was very apologetic and nice on the phone, offering us a gift certificate for the full amount of the pizza. He took down our address to mail it out to us as we live 20 miles away from Durango. Well, that never happened. We never received our reimbursement for that pizza, which at this point doesn't surprise us at all for it is par for the course with this company. If you see my reviews of the Camino location you can see this has been an ongoing issue with the place. I cannot recommend this company to anyone as they do not stand by their word or their product. It is a turn and burn kind of business and they cannot be bothered with consistent quality. Think twice before eating here or at the other location. I took pictures of all instances where Homeslice failed to make the right sized pie, along with a receipt in the picture to show what we paid for in comparison. EDIT: Erin from the Homeslice Team sent us a gift card and a hand written letter apologizing and owning the issues I presented here and in other reviews. That is top notch customer service. Totally appreciated. I bumped this review to 4 stars to reflect the professional attitude in the face of disgruntled customers. This reaching out and rectifying the poor experiences we have had is worthy of commendation. We will not give up on H.S. over a handful of poor experiences as Homeslice has been an ultimately great pizza experience since we moved to Durango in 2005. Thanks Erin, you made our day. read more

Took 2.5 hours to get my SMALL pizza and a salad. If you're in a hurry or hungry don't get delivery from these guys. I was surprised by the time we got it it was hot.
