The quality is nothing like Omaha Steaks. They're both frozen and steaks, but that's where the comparison ends. The $1 steaks are paper thin and obviously their loss leader. Got a Groupon and placed an order for 5lbs of Crawfish. The price was extremely high, however, the Groupon made it an easier pill to swallow. The shipping was very expensive. For these high prices, I was really expecting quality service. They missed my first delivery time frame and I received communication that it was because they ran out of steaks. I ordered crawfish...tiny lobsters...not related to cows. These were to be Louisana crawfish. So I call customer support. The girl was nice enough, tells me there was an error and gives me a $15 credit and a new delivery date for the crawfish. Delivery date passed...NO CRAWFISH. No tracking details on my account or order. Only says partially delivered...what was delivered? NOTHING. No tracking info...nothing. I called them again today. No one answered and it went to voice mail. Left a VM and no one called me back. If I don't hear from them or receive my items by Friday morning I am going to contact the attorney general and BBB to get my money back and file a complaint. read more

I'm pretty sure the 20 for $25 rib eye steaks are from some old, like, very old cow. Tough and stringy. I would never buy anything from them again. I realize the rib eyes were the "bring in" deal, and the other meat looked good, but I have no room for more than the box of rib eyes. I am VERY disappointed in the quality of these steaks. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The meat box they sell you looks big but if you divide the total weight by what you paid,in my case,$169.00,that's $9.98 lb! Total impulse buy,that's what they count on. The steaks look somewhat thick when frozen but when you thaw them they are only about 1/4inch thickness,if that. Once cooked they're pathetic! My son thought they tasted like salisbury steak, which is pretty accurate. Salisbury steak would have been way cheaper & better tasting. Meat was horrible quality- like chewing shoe leather. And that which wasn't chewy meat was the worst gristle running through almost all of the meat.
