Red bearded guy is sooo rude! He yelled at the younger worker for helping me at the front desk. He refused to give me pickles on the side because "he didn't have anything to put it in" . this guy is incredibly rude. It's almost comical. Older couple walked out on him while I was there. Stay away from this poor excuse of a business! Refused to give feta cheese on the side for their Greek salad so none was going to be put on, yet we were still going to be charged for the full Greek salad. After asking several times if they could just put it in a small container on the side, they refused. Called back within one minute to cancel our order (which we didn't have to do - could have just not showed up). Instead of trying to fix the customer issue, my husband was called an "assh#$@e" and hung up on! We made another call right back - there is a reason why that crappy business only has 2.5 stars! First visit to this great new local place. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We got take out sandwiches and they were excellent.

Called to ask what their website was so I could see what ingredients they had. The man on the other end answered - "I don't have one" THEN HE ASKED ME "HAVE YOU EVER HAD A PIZZA BEFORE?" At first I was speechless - then I said 'Yes I have but I would like to know what you offer for topping' - He then quickly and rudely started rattling off saying "WE GOT THE USUAL - PEPPERONI - SAUSAGE - PEPPERS YA KNOW" - At that point obviously he didn't care about having me for a customer - I said 'Sorry to bother you" and hung up - Having been in the hospitality business for 40 years and anxious to try a new spot for pizza - All I can say is 'Wow' - Go to SEACOAST PIZZA - They have great pizza and are very nice people. read more

This spot was a real disappointment, the portions were small and prices were high. Beverages were very expensive and the drinks were expired. When asked if I could have lettuce and tomato on my steak sub was told a flat out no. Not worth the half hour drive. Very rude customer service. read more

Stopped in for a couple of sandwiches. Guy behind counter (owner maybe) was not at all friendly. Made me feel like I was an imposition being there. I ordered sandwiches, asked for a condiment on the side and was told he didn't have anything to put it in for "on the side". Are you kidding me! He couldn't have wrapped it in foil or something. I ask for black olives, they don't have them. Isn't this a pizza and sub shop??I tell him the sandwiches are uncooked and dry (was getting them for much later that night). Out they come toasted. I asked the new person who is at the counter now "why are these hot"? I tell her they were supposed to be uncooked so now I ask for a refund. She goes out back to the kitchen and tells Mr. Not So Friendly that I want a refund. He comes out and I tell him I ordered these uncooked. He says I never said that, I tell him I did and we go round and round on that subject. So finally I ask him,"are you going to refund me my money?" He says "No", we always cook our sandwiches this way unless told otherwise. So I guess uncooked means something very different to him than me. During this whole debate he was very rude. Highly disappointed. Ordered large chicken tender, large buffalo chicken tender and a large mozzarella stick. Food was delicious but extremely small portions for over $30 cost. The order of chicken tenders only came with 4 chicken tenders. The buffalo came with 6 and the mozzarella sticks 6. Id expect that portion for a small size or child's plate, literally a snack not enough to be a meal at all. For the price there definitely should have been a larger portion. Definitely would have been at other local places!! If you want good business then you probably should give more of a portion and not a child's amount. I rarely write reviews. I just had to today. We went here as the other places around had 1.5 hour wait for a pie. Now, I know why there was no wait here. Nearly 30 bucks for a pizza. My youngest said, "that pizza wasn't very good". After eating a slice. He's never complained about a pizza in his life! I've had frozen pizza that was better. Sorry fella's. Terrible bland pizza, tastes like store bought frozen pizza. The service is exceptionally horrible. I stood waiting for a solid 3 minutes while being stared at by three employees. When the person finally came up to me, I wasnt greeted, and he was extremely rude. The phone rang. He didn't say anything to me, and just picked the phone up and talked to whoever was ordering. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend ordering here. The gentleman who took our order, Dennis I think his name is, was extremely rude and snappy upon taking our order. It seemed like he had no emotion or care in the world regarding his business and the possible customers he's chasing away. He was a complete jerk and didn't seem to want to take a second out of his day to answer our questions about the menu. And WHAT kind of pizza place doesn't make buffalo chicken pizza. Extremely disappointed by their lack of customer service skill and representation of their business. This place might have the worst service I've EVER experienced in my life. Not only is the service terrible, but the pizza is not fit for my dog. Also, I cannot for the life of me understand why they would sell ice cream. Are you kidding me...! That's the worst neighborly thing you could do as a business owner. We are in Wells Maine for a 4 day holiday vacation. We love this area and had a great breakfast this morning at a popular donut place near the rented condo. Walked Marginal Way. Decided to pick up some lunch to bring back to condo. At 3pm, my husband went into Home Town Pizza to get an Italian Sub and I asked him to get me some meatballs. (I am not eating bread these days). Meanwhile, I went in thrift shop to poke around. He came out all flustered and pissed. First, he ordered the sub and asked for meatballs. The guy behind counter said he doesnt have 'to go' containers. What? How do they not have something to put meatballs in. They make salads to go. They made the Italian sub and handed it to him and the bag was hot. My husband said he didnt want the Italian sub heated, he didnt ask for it to be heated. The guy said 'that is how its done here'. So my husband said he wanted his money back, he will go somewhere else. The guy said 'No, I am not giving you your money back and wasting food'. They argued back and forth. The guy said he would make him another sandwich. At this point, my husband didnt want to wait any longer, and didnt trust the guy to not do something gross to a new sandwich. So I have NO lunch and he has a warm melty italian cold cut, and a bad attitude. Who eats HOT Italian cold cut subs?! Is that even a thing? Terrible experience. Very over priced for sub par pizza and when I asked why I was charged a different amount then what was on the menu, staff was extremely rude.
