Really quaint, family run diner. We put in our name and must have got there at a good time, as we were seated shortly afterwards. Mom ordered the spinach, black olives & feta omelet and I had the kielbasa, onion and mushroom omelet. Both were huge, and neither of us ate it all. Very tasty, though.

This place is right across from the hotel and I can only eat hotel breakfast so many times. I remembered that I ate there last trip but due to covid it was my only choice so I decided to try it again. I walked in and was seated immediately, not very courteous but right away. No one working in the restaurant seemed to be happy to be there. I got coffee as soon as I sat down, along with a menu. I waited a little longer than I would have liked to put in my order but nothing unreasonable. My food came so quickly it made up for the time I waited to order. It could be that they only cook 1 or 2 tables at a time and were ready as soon as I made my order, never the less it was fine. I had 2 eggs, fried potatoes and local sausage links. The fried eggs were fried eggs, unless you really do something bad it is hard to mess them up or add to them. The potatoes were very good. Instead of using onions and bell pepper they use pepper and other spices allowing you to enjoy the potato not the extra things. The sausage was from a local place that I was not familiar with but was excellent. 3 big links that were not overcooked and full of flavor. For toast they offered orange marmalade in addition to regular jelly. I visit for work every 2 years. When I return I will come to this place again. They would be 5 stars if the servers were more friendly. In the service industry, the way you treat people is what brings them back.

No frills, delicious vacation breakfast spot. It was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. I loved their blueberry pancakes and local sausage. Not much else to say other than it was a solid breakfast spot. The servers were very sweet and we even returned one more time before we headed home!

Gosh, you just hope you made a memorable choice for the right reasons. We did - we both felt we not only received value for our dining dollars, we felt cared for by the staff and satiated by the kitchen. People like sitting outside - so the reservations reflected that and we could only be seated inside. Was not a disappointment to be seated inside. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a steak sandwich and my dining partner had a chicken sandwich. Both were really tasty and well prepared. We only had water to drink and that was not a problem. I feel many times if I don't order an app or a drink a server becomes less friendly. That wasn't our experience here. I don't believe in over rewarding a place - but I feel a 4.5 out of 5 is appropriate. Since I can't give that - I rounded up to 5.

With steps at the entrance there is a ramp at the back of the restaurant for people with mobility issues. They were very nice and accommodating in helping with the entrance but it is a steep ramp actually easier to use in a wheelchair than a walker. The service was professional and friendly. The coconut corn chowder was fabulous as was the mushroom ragout. Definitely worth a visit!

The highlight for me is, without question, the two-foot lobster roll. It's huge, loaded with fresh lobster from end to end, and served on a perfectly soft sub roll. Every time I order it, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. It's not just a novelty because of the size. It's genuinely delicious, generously filled, and an incredible value for the amount of lobster you get. It's easily one of my favorite lobster rolls anywhere. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that's great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxed meal. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and Barb always stands out. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely makes guests feel appreciated. It's refreshing to find a place that's been so consistent over multiple visits. Great food, generous portions, and people who clearly care about their customers keep me coming back. If you're in the area, don't leave without trying the two-foot lobster roll!

Broccoli needed seasoning and that leads to my next issue. Not good leadership in the dining room, salt and pepper shakers did not match and were filthy and empty. Left over Xmas light in greens, half were burned out. The manager needs to take a step back and take a detailed look at the place. A good place for seniors as the prices are quite reasonable. Service was ok. She was scattered and took a couple of tries to get water and had to flag her down to pay the check. Older blond lady. Overall ok.

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

Choice for Dinner, skip the Holidays…read more We came here once before and had a really good experience, which is why we decided to book a 2:00 PM reservation to celebrate Mother's Day. We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.
