They're still kicking it. Drove 24 miles R/T just to have their pizza and Italian. It's the best Italian I ever had and I can be an Italian sub snob. Ordered some desserts for us and friends who we know would love them. The limoncello marscopone cake is FANTASTIC! Of course, as usual, the zeppoles and cannolis are great! The staff are so incredibly friendly. Sorry for all the pics that do not have the entire amount of food. We kept forgetting to take pics before we took bites.

We had out puppy with us so I never went inside but the outside seating is really nice, each table is on cement and surrounded by grass and green bushes to make for more privacy. The service was okay, when we asked for togo boxes they said no problem just come inside when you're done, and then you have to wait in the long line just to get those boxes. But the NY cheese pizza was absolutely delicious, chewy and crispy and just yum. The white pizza while good was a little heavy on the cheese sauce

I was craving some pasta, so I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. I also ordered some Zeppoles as well. I did my order online via their website, super easy to do. I picked up my order, it was ready right at the stated time. I took my food back home, about a 20 minute drive. When I got home my food was still piping hot. The penne alla vodka was so good. Creamy, saucy, just delicious. The fettuccine was superb! So much chicken! Great flavor. A bit greasy, that is my only critique. But both dishes were delicious! The zeppoles are a perfect sweet / savory treat. Really enjoyed them. The staff inside were friendly and had fast service. Very impressed and will be back!

The Sicilian was a bit doughy and could have used more sauce. The meat lovers was very good. The cheese pizza had a good crust and undercarriage. Not much flop. Nice amount of oil on top. The sauce could have used some more spice to it. A bit bland. Prices were good and the restaurant was very clean. Great staff as well. I rate the cheese pizza a 7.2.

Stopped in while passing thru Wells from Portland. Seacoast was on my list after reading and seeing them on a list of must-taste pizza places in Maine. Upon arrival, I was surprised how small the location is. It has 6 tables inside with seating for 6 at each table. It is comfortable, for sure. The staff was awesome. Very helpful and open to answering any questions you may have. The questions are plentiful because of all they have to offer. Pizza, Pasta, Subs, Desserts and a ton of drink options (including wine and beer). I wanted to get a few different items so we sort of spread out the choices....calzone, sub, onion rings and a slice of sicilian pizza. All the food was delivered quick and hot. I had a turkey sub with mustard and pickle. The sub was fresh but not a ton of taste. Kind of hard to explain but it was kind of plain. Not bad....just a comment. The spinach and cheese calzone was great. not too bready...just perfect...well cooked and great size! The sicilian slice was awesome. It was crispy, which reminded me of Sophie-T's (Nantucket). It was a great size and very good! Onion Rings were good, too. Plenty of them for a decent price. Coke products are served....we had a root beer. Parking is plentiful Pricing is very fair Open Thursday - Sunday during winter hours. Closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday during this time. great spot!

I'm staying at the Hampton across the street and had no car so this was super convenient for me to pop over. I ate in. Got a Sicilian slice and a pepperoni roll. The roll was super tasty and I was recommended to get it over the spinach. The Sicilian was thick dough, so it felt like I was eat in a lot of bread. The crust was really crisp. The pizza was just ok but the roll was really good. All conveniently for $7 and it was all served hot. Have a TV inside so they were playing the NBA finals which I appreciated.

Was a little skeptical to try NY style pizza in Maine, but it was much better than expected!! Really great pizza, good flavors and tasty crust. Wish they cooked the pizza a little bit more so the crust was more crunchy rather than chewy, but definitely not a bad pizza. My family likes the Sicilian, but I am not a huge fan of that style of pizza so I can't judge - too much dough for my liking but I know some people love it! As a tip, I have heard they get very busy during peak times in the summer (they told my mom 2 hour wait once), so plan ahead if you want pizza!

Walking in, we saw a cosmo being served at the outdoor bar and knew we had to have one of those. We sat inside at the bar and got cosmos in a large martini glass, filled to the rim and delicious. The Bartender Meg, was awesome, she had a great personality, friendly and a real pro. She took our order and brought us some focaccia bread that was warm and more dense than usual, but, still soft ...with olive oil drizzled on it. Nice. I got Lobster and Shrimp Alla Vodka (Sautéed Maine Lobster, jumbo shrimp served with pappardelle pasta in alla vodka sauce) it was excellent. Pasta nice and soft, the way I like it, with large shrimp and pieces of lobster, just a great dish. My wife got Seafood risotto alla Milanese (Fresh ME lobster meat, jumbo shrimp and scallops in Saffron Creamy risotto) it was also super tasty and savory with lots of seafood in it. Honestly, where we sat we could see everything coming out of the kitchen and it all looked amazing! My wife got a follow up drink ...white sangria that came out in a beautiful very large glass. We were very happy with our decision to go here and will definitely be back. Also, met the owner Charlie, who came by to check on us...a very nice guy. Thank you for a wonderful meal and very positive experience.

I love that it's a bit out of the way of the downtown area so you can park and relax in a beautiful setting. We started with cocktails and drank them outside while admiring the beautiful property, i highly recommend getting there before your reservation so you can enjoy a drink on a nice day outside! I got the Tideline cocktail and substituted the tequila for mezcal after the bartender suggested it and wow! A great drink and i was impressed how fast the service was. Once we sat down inside we ordered a lovely Gamay for the table, you really can't go wrong with any of the wines on the menu they have a great selection. We ordered quite a few dishes to share between the three of us and the server brought them out in a 3 course style per her suggestion. We started with the citrus and fennel salad and grilled raddichio and these were both so fresh and delicious, we had to leftover vegetables this were exceptional. Then came the asparagus pizza, pork and beef meatballs, and the focaccia as our second course. We almost skipped the focaccia- that would have been a huge mistake. That is a must order, the texture was biscuit like and the seasonal flavored butter was divine. The pizza was really blowing us away with the white sauce and the chili crisp combination. The dough is so light and crispy as well it was wonderful. The meatballs were huge! and came with delicious grilled sourdough. The pasta and lamb shank came out next and at this point we couldn't see how it could get any better but then it did! The lamb shank is huge and cooked so beautifully. The pastas were definitely the standout bites of the course. The carbonara noodles are thick and cooked perfectly and the sauce is so rich a creamy. The Tortelli pasta was my favorite, the pockets stuffed with a gooey filling and the fava beans added a great texture to the dish. We were in carb heaven. We somehow were able to fit dessert in and i'm so glad we did not skip it. We ordered espresso martinis to accompany and this is without a doubt the best espresso martini i have ever had. We substituted tequila and they were completely delicious. I don't remember exactly what the names of the desserts were that we got but one was a a chocolate mousse with a peanut butter sauce and crunchy peanuts which was so yummy. But the favorite of the table was the pistachio one. It was like an ice cream bar with crunchy pistachios on it. Get this one if you go! This was an unforgettable meal from service to food. The staff is incredible and really treat you wonderfully and the food is so good i really didn't expect it to blow me away as much as it did. We sure hit a home run when we decided to book a reservation at Hobbs Harborside. The restaurant is huge and beautiful, with a big bar, plenty of tables, and a big outdoor deck overlooking the water. We enjoyed a few drinks out on the deck before we were called. Our server for the evening was Shelby H. and if there is a finer server in the state of Maine, I'd be stunned. She was everything we could possibly have asked for -sweet, friendly, funny, conversational, cheerful, helpful, efficient, professional- she checked all the boxes. I started off with one of their pillowy soft complimentary dinner rolls, a glass of Zardetto Prosecco ($11), and then turned my attention to the many appetizers our table ordered to share. I sampled some of the Bacon Wrapped Scallops ($19.99) and Baby Lobster Cakes ($19.99) -both of which were excellent. For my main, I went with a Seafood Sampler ($31.99) - a "combination of fresh haddock, sea scallops and stuffed shrimp broiled with a topping of buttering crumbs". This was a wonderful dish! The scallops were sweet and tender, the fish was flaky and perfectly cooked, and the shrimp was delicious. The entrée came with a choice of 2 sides, so I went with a double order of Brussels Sprouts which were amazing. Thank you Hobbs Harborside and Shelby H for one of our best restaurant experiences of the year.

"Take me to the pilot, lead me through the chamber Take me…read moreto the pilot, I am but a stranger" (Elton John) Our convention committee was in town celebrating last summer's successful event after years of planning. Five of us headed for lovely Kennebunkport, but where should we meet for lunch? Choosing a lunch spot could've taken all afternoon, but a trusted local steered us toward the Pilot House. So that's where we met up -- and it ended up being a terrific lunch. It has a scenic location in a harbor on the Kennebunk River, where the whole waterfront is dotted with boats. The big dining room is equally pretty with colorful nautical flags covering the ceiling and maritime décor everywhere. Pilot House was packed, I mean pretty much every table and every barstool, but after a short wait a table opened up for us. Our server, Carley was great- with a super nice attitude and quick water glass delivery. Pilot House's menu has plenty of seafood options among its appetizers, soups, salads, baskets, sandwiches, and entrees. I went with their Fish Tacos ($19) - "Golden fried haddock, red cabbage slaw, queso fresco & house made candied jalapeño aioli. Served on flour tortillas". I asked Carley if I could get the fish grilled instead of fried, and that was no problem. I loved the tacos; the fish was plentiful, flaky and tender and that jalapeño aioli was excellent. One of the other meals at our table included an interesting one. Ever hear of a Haddock Reuben? It was $21.00 for a marble rye sandwich with fried haddock, coleslaw, 1000 Island & Swiss cheese. Not a morsel was left behind. Two of us went with a Fried Baby Shrimp Basket ($24), a huge feast of golden fried baby shrimp, French fries, coleslaw & cocktail sauce. We were seated in the far-right side of the dining room by a bank of windows, and I noticed what looked like a huge yacht connected to the restaurant by a walkway. Turns out there is a restaurant bar up there. I so wanted to scoot up there for a few photos, but it wasn't open for the season yet. Oh well, maybe next time. Just another reason to visit the Pilot Hose because the food and dining experience were top-notch.

They have all your standard seafare bar food, as well as some other options. I love the variety in vibes depending on where you sit. The restaurant has 3 floors, with the upstairs feeling more upscale in vibe and the downstairs more family oriented. In the warm months, they also have seating on the big boat outside, which is super fun. I always bring out of owners here just for this boat vibe alone. The drinks definitely taste like they are made using premade mixes, and purées, so their price tag feels very high for what you get. The food is definitely average, with some items better than others. The clam chowder is THICK but it has exceptional flavor. The fried pickles are solid. All in all, I would highly suggest coming in the summer to grab a beer or drink on the boat while sharing some apps with friends, but skip it if you are looking for a high quality meal that will leave you wanting to return for dinner.
