They quoted me over text, sent me the out of the door price, then the moment I got to the dealership, the price magically jumped to nearly 7k more. They refused to honor the price. That's not a misunderstanding, that's a deliberate bait-and-switch.It's hard not to see this as a tactic to get customers in the door under false pretenses and then wear them down into accepting a much higher price. Which is exactly what happened to me!!That kind of approach is not just unprofessional, it's deceptive.I did like the car and was in need of one, but the way this was handled completely ruined the experience and my feeling towards the car. Is it possible to give negative zero stars? Man these people love to give you the run-around. So I received my DMV registration letter at the end of February. In the letter, it included a safety recall alert about my vehicle (2019 Honda Civic) along with a website for more information on it. I go on the website to read the recall information. On the website, it states that if my vehicle is impacted, I will receive a letter in the mail from Honda about the recall. In addition, my registration is due beginning of May, but the DMV will not allow me to register my vehicle until this recall has been completed. So I waited for about a month and a half, but no letter ever came from Honda. Even though I never received a recall letter from Honda, I did not want to assume everything was fine and take any chances. So I decided to go to Honda World Westminster (where I originally purchased my vehicle) in person to verify if there were in fact any recalls for my car. I get there Tuesday (March 25, 2025) at around 10:45 am. A new Hispanic female service advisor with half black and half bleached hair and bangs, comes over to my car and asks how she can help me. I explain and show her the DMV letter and I ask her to confirm if there are any recalls for my vehicle. She goes to the computer to check and tells me yes my vehicle does have a recall for the fuel pump. She tells me recalls require appointments and hands me an inquiry acknowledgement paper. She then tells me a rep will call me in 1 hour to explain the next steps and set up an appointment. I never received a call that day or the next day. Since I did not receive any calls, I took it upon myself to find the phone number for the recall department at Honda World Westminster. I call the number and a male rep answers the phone. I tell him that I need to make an appointment for a recall on my car. He looks up my information and tells me, that they do not perform that type of recall at their Westminster dealership. He tells me that I would need to just ask around, and call other dealerships to find out if they could help me..?? He was not at all helpful and failed to provide me with any additional assistance or an apology. I was left so bewildered at his reluctance to help me that I forgot to get his name. So I had to make a 2nd trip to Honda World Westminster on Wednesday (March 26, 2025) the next day, to find out what exactly was going on. I get there and another new female service advisor (Hispanic lady with long brown curly hair) tells me they cannot help me because there are no parts available. She tells me someone will call me if and when the parts arrive. I emphasize that this needs to be done asap, because I cannot register my vehicle until this is completed by the dealership. I guess she felt flustered because she then walked away without saying anything. Henry Nguyễn (service advisor) then jumped in to assist. He reassured me that I would get a phone call in less than 1 week to set up an appointment. Well 11 days went by and I received no phone calls. I decide to call the recall department again and a rep named Thomas tells me they temporarily cannot provide that service. He tells me to call the service department between April 21st-26th to see what they can do. I let him know this is urgent because it is a mandate from the DMV. He kept telling me there was nothing he could do. He sounded very uninterested and dismissive on the phone. So I decide to make a 3rd trip to Honda World on Monday (April 7, 2025) to speak to a manager because this was getting ridiculous. I explain the situation again and show the manager Cindy the DMV letter. After a bit of conversing, Cindy finally sets me up with an appointment for the week after. WOW. I make a 4th trip to Honda World Westminster for the appointment day (April 10, 2025) at 7:15 am. I was informed it would only take 1 day and 4-6 hours to complete. Henry called me at 4:15 pm to pick up my car (9 hrs later). I arrive and was told everything was good to go, so I retrieve my car and I go to Costco to pump gas. Just as I am finishing up filling my tank, I look down at the ground and I see gasoline gushing everywhere from underneath my car, where the "new" fuel pump is located. It caused a huge mess and a safety hazard, thankfully 2 Costco gas attendants came over to help me. I forgot to take pictures and video because there was so much going on. I call Cindy immediately and she tells me to try to return to the dealership asap. I somehow make it back to the dealership, and was given a temporary loaner car for 1 d because they wanted me to leave my car there overnight. What a F**king ordeal!! I felt deceived and an enormous lack of urgency from the staff. I live a good distance away so all this driving back and forth was a headache. I cannot recommend this service dept to anyone. To the employees: please take your jobs more seriously. read more

Very disappointed with the service here. I brought in my 2020 Honda after an accident and clearly told Lily about a new bumping issue that started only afterward. She didn't mention it to the insurance during their inspection and later claimed it was just "wear and tear," which is not true. When I brought the issue to Norberto, it was even worse--he ignored everything we were experiencing. If anyone here actually test-drove the van, they'd understand how serious the problem is. One of the worst Honda dealers I've been to. I leased a 2025 Honda Prologue, had it for a month then had issues with the charging. The service department had it for over a month and couldn't ever bother to wash it because they don't "wash serviced cars only when they're sold" I've been to a different Honda for a different car and that was NEVER an issue. They disregard everything you tell them. When I bought the car I was told I'd get credits for charging, 3 months later and I still don't see those credits. Tried calling the dealer to see if I can talk to someone, but they just transfer you to different numbers and no one ever picks up. Managers manager came in and said I can't even do that original deal on the car either, we're going $500 over sticker as the best we can do for you. First of all Lesly was great. We saw the car, liked it and offered to buy it for the asking price. They weren't willing to negotiate but that's another story. We decided to finance and she ran the credit, came up with the numbers the bank offered. Agreed on one of them and she started the paperwork. She added a couple of things that i told her we didn't want and she took them off and gave us the revised number. Easy deal. She congratulated us and said she had to bring everything to the manager. 20 mins later someone else approaches us with completely different numbers. Almost double of what we agreed to in terms of financing. Almost doubling the numbers. Crazy. Told them we didn't agree to those numbers and asked for our driver's licenses back. Don't know why they were holding onto them. Decided to follow them to get the paperwork that we signed back because it was obvious they were not honoring the deal. This gentleman approaches us and just stands there looking at us while I requested to speak to our Sales Rep, Lesley. She was no where to be found. The gentleman finally said "hi". I had to ask him who he was and he tells me his name. Then he just stands there looking at us so I had to ask him, "And what is your position here?" General Sales Manager. He tells me that Lesly said we were approved for one thing but we really are approved for something else according to a spreadsheet that they created. So now he's changing the numbers that was agreed upon. So we took our personal information that they had and walked out. This should of been an easy and quick transaction but they wanted more so they came up with all new numbers. And Lesly is no where to be found. She could of had an easy sale but then the GM decided to make it complicated. Couldn't believe he was the GM. This is exactly why people hate dealing with car dealers in person. Now that I am nearing my 3-year lease as I look into the details of surrendering my vehicle I realize that they never documented the SECURITY DEPOSIT assured to me as their lease agreement form seemed complicated from the start. In addition, after the vehicle trade-in value and cash I put down, I am still expected to pay $300! On top of this, I cannot trade-in my vehicle in a non-honda dealership coercing me to stay with Honda. I have reported this dealership and they are currently being investigated. But, when a service advisor is trying to up-charge and do everything under the sun to not get you the coupon that is publicly displayed on their website, I call shady business on that. Online I set up the services I wanted and when I arrived I was asked what I was in for. Do service reps not have that information on file? And of course I was up sold on a whole bunch of services, $600 later. I had to come back on another day to get the tire service light reset, which they didn't do initially. Not happy that not only did I have to come back on another day but had to wait an hour to get something done that they should have done while I was there. When I called that very day noticing that the light was on my service advisor immediately asked if I had driven over and nail putting the responsibility back on me as if it was my fault. Happy to say when they put my car up and checked all the tires there was no leak nor puncture. Which means they did not reset the service light. I would warn to be careful not to be sold on a whole bunch of services you might not need especially if it's a lot more than $179 I thought I had initially signed up for. read more

Mom has a knee replacement, and her knees were really hurting without enough leg room. I needed a car to ease her pain. Armando Gutierrez and Casey Merida are manipulators who will take advantage of you while pretending to help you as a team. I'd try a different deal ship with better quality employees. Armando will not answer your questions or be of any help after the sale. He will pretend to care. As a brain cancer patient on disability on a low fixed income I feel taken advantage of. Total ADA violations with no remorse. He will rearrange the numbers to give the illusion of a discount, but the bottom line is the same. He was very tricky, and I was fooled thinking he was kind. Avoid him at all costs. He denied me his supervisor's email. Total bate and switch taking hours of your time until you're so exhausted you won't realize you've been conned until after. I had the worst headache from negotiating to terms that broke the boundaries I set for my budget. Be careful, and try a different sales man or dealer. The only positive thing I can say about this dealership was Shenal Brandigampola who was qualified, and kind. I would definitely recommend Shenal Brandigampola to be promoted. Shenal showed me empathy and kindness. I think Armando Gutierrez and Casey Merida are liabilities as employees for Honda. Not helpful, but hurtful to my wallet. I really am sad I didn't go to a different sales person or deal. I have been trying to get help for 8 days now, and they refuse to honor the verbal agreement. I'm keeping my contract, and hopefully corporate can step in to help. I was too trusting, and I was socializing too much thinking my sales person was a cool dude. I should have brought a friend with me. I should have gone to a few dealerships for comparison to be treated fairly. Lesson learned, and I hope they are fair to there next customers. read more

Came here on 12/26/24 at 6:50a for some minor issues, which not all was complete, due to timing and a part having to be ordered. Prior to leaving my car, as I had my own ride back, I was told he would call me prior to 1p with an update. I ended up calling around 12:30p, unable to get a hold of the service advisor. Had to keep calling the general service number to be told he was busy and he would relay my message to be called within 5 mins. Still no call. So I call back at 1p, to be told not everything is complete and that my part would be in tmrw (Friday). Told him I wasn't leaving the car any longer and that I would be back, he can call me Friday when it comes in and I'll stop by. Never got a call. I get bothered with the lack of or no communication. On 01/03/2025, I got a call that my part is in and to make an appointment, told that rep that I'll have to call at a later time to schedule it, he stated that they will only hold the part for 10 days. Told him fine. I call earlier this week, spoke to Thomas at scheduling and asked if I can come on Saturday at 7am as I had a busy schedule there after: also asking about my auto door lock issue with key 1, and asked about a general timeframe. His response was "well it's a Saturday and we're busy! It could be here all day till next if u want to leave it." Told him I'll just call back to arrange another time. In the interim, he schedules me anyway, as I see via text, for a Saturday appt at 9:15a. I rearranged my schedule for today to be there. One person came up, I didn't catch his name but he was really nice. Then a service advisor, Justin Dinh, came up and told me that my Service advisor will be right out to assist regarding the part. My service advisor came up and asked how he can help. I'm thinking in my head "you should know your customers" but then annoying told him about the part that's in. I also mentioned about the auto door lock (walk away) issue that it has with key 1. He couldn't duplicate it. *it's one of those things when there's an issue, u take it to a mechanic and then there's no issue. So I told him that I'll just take a video and send it to him as it happens daily at random times. He said he wants to get a tech out to get their advice. I waited in the car as it was cold... while waiting I see this Asian lady (Cindy - Service Manager) come out and say LOUDLY, "IF THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR, WE'RE NOT KEEPING IT ALL DAY!" B**** you think I want to waste my time at Honda world with a fake issue??? Cindy has no business being a "service manager" with her unfriendly no customer service attitude. She belongs at a Walmart loading dock where she has no customer facing. This location needs more people like Justin Dinh to work here to obtain better overall service. He has a kind and friendly attitude, very calm and collected. One of his peers even stated he is the nicest person they have here. It shows. I dropped off my purchased Honda Civic 2025 at Honda World Westminster for a tire service on October 4, 2025, around 10:30 am Later, I received a call from them stating that I need to replace the tire because it has a puncture in the sidewall. I declined their service because it was too expensive. Around 5 pm, I called the service department to follow up on my car, but no one answered. Usually, they would call when the car is ready, so I called the receptionist and found out the service was closed early at 4 pm, and they were unsure what to do. The receptionist transferred me to someone else; I spoke to Ronnie and told him I was on my way. When I arrived, I talked to a few people and asked what I should do and who could help me. There was a manager named Vinh Nguyen, who I remembered finalizing my paperwork for my purchase. I spoke to him and expressed my frustration, but he told me he couldn't do anything because he has no control over the service department and I have to wait until Monday. Talking to him only made me more upset because he was unhelpful. I walked away and went to the other building, hoping someone could assist me. One person, Ronnie Williams from sales, saw me and helped. He checked his system, printed some paperwork, and was able to retrieve my car, even though my other key was left behind, which was okay since I used my spare key. He also mentioned to look for him next time so he can help me get the other key. Thank you, Ronnie Williams, for your help that day; the manager couldn't assist me. Much appreciated. Today I took my car to a local shop, and they were able to fix it without replacing a tire. read more
