VIRGINIA BEACH | Honest Pastures | why can we not have places like this literally everywhere? Mama loves a good sandwich and HP serves. I cannot get past the fact that I have to leave northern Virginia to get a good sandwich. We had the Reuben and the chicken Philly. Kids had the grilled cheese and chicken strips. All were a hit and the fries were delish. We will be back tomorrow for breakfast because it was that good. Kuddos to this place for welcoming families with young kids. Not only do you have multiple items on the menu for them but there are high chairs and a changing table. Crazy how those things are hard to come by.

Good vegan spot! Not far from the ocean front and a huge menu to choose from. Little deli atmosphere. Don't miss grab and go fridge with candy bars... incredible. I got a classic hoagie and was not disappointed. I want to come back to try some other goodies. Food came out pretty fast. Service could've been friendlier but hey everyone has bad days. Working in food service is hard.

I have never seen so many different vegan meat options in my life. Even if you are not vegan you can still have a tasty meal here. I did an early dinner with a Reuben Sandwich and side of Cauliflower "Onion" rings. The meat (non-meat) was sooooo good. My girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich with the pickled cucumber salad side that was also good. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming! Next visit will be to try breakfast. If any criticism it would be they close so early at 6pm but that seems to be all vegan places.

    LARGE - Philly...SO good!

Amazingly flavorful food and friendly staff!!! I also had the fried mushrooms which were so good I forgot to photograph them!!!

Heavy Eye Roll - Hammy & Cheese, missing fries that were supposed to be included per menu

We were excited to find another vegan restaurant that has a decent menu selection. Unfortunately, we may have visited on a day that their staff was having a bad day. The service was mediocre, as in they seemed annoyed that we were there, and should have been excited to have new clientele. As I have read through other reviews, I've seen a pattern concerning the male figure who also works there, bald with tattoos, having a negative disposition towards customers. This negativity sadly goes into the food that they prepare. As you will see from the photos I have included, the food was not great. The five dollar sweet tea tasted good, but should include free refills, since the cup isn't that big for a large. Other than the Na'Arby's sandwich, all the breads and meats were extremely dry. The Cuban needed more mustard or sauce of some type to help with flavor. The Sautéed Jerk Collards tasted OK, but we're very salty. Even though my daughter liked the Whatever! - Chickun Strips with fries, they were way overpriced for 3 small pieces less than 3" each. The Heavy Eye Roll - Hammy & Cheese was the most dry and difficult to eat, and was also missing fries that we were charged for but not provided. Last, but not least, a little good news, and so glad I ordered them. The Fried tofu bites and Honest fil-A sauce were the best out of everything. Now onto ambiance. We enjoyed getting to play a board game with our son while our daughter relaxed on the small sofa. Overall, we wish this place the best, but considering what the vegan movement is supposed to stand for with love and peace, they may need to focus more on those two aspects to enhance their food and ambiance.

I've been trying every plant based, vegan restaurant as they pop up and Honest Pastures has the best tasting food I've had yet. They score very high in the areas plant based places around here tend to lack in: flavor, quality of bread, execution. We had gyros and Italian subs and they were spot on. Soft bread, accurate flavors and good textures. And please don't underestimate the importance of the bread comment. SO MANY plant based places I've been fall flat on their faces when it comes to the bread. And it ruins the sandwich. This place has it figured out !Everything was outstanding. In addition, their customer service was excellent too. We were late picking up our order and they hung around until we could come and get it. 5 stars across the board we'll be frequenting them going forward.

Fabtastic vegan spot. I've been twice. This last visit, I tried The Hot Chick, rosemarry fries, the smore cookie, and chocolate chip cookie. My first visit I had a brunch platter (don't remember exactly which one, nothing noteworthy), and the person I was with got the french toast, which she raved about. Staff is friendly. Seating is available. Aside from menu items, they also have items for sale such as vegan cheese, desserts, etc.

First time here and won't be my last when I'm on this side of town! I've been meaning to stop by my buddies locally owned vegan spot and it did not disappoint! I got the gyro with air fried fries that taste like they were fried, you know I had to try all the cookies there as well, delicious! I have to bring the wife and kid here! Thanks friends!

They have an indoor dining area that is more like intimate and has a cozy feel. They have an outside area that you can eat at and have a great view of the waterfront. And of course they have the "Porch" area which gives that outdoor vibe but you're still inside of a fenced in area. My friend and I ate in the dining room area since it wasn't a wait. We ordered drinks, two crushes which were amazing and refreshing. It definitely gave island vibes. We started off with the crab dip which was incredible and flavorful. The bread with the dip was A1. I could eat the bread alone. Now for the actual dishes. She ordered the crab cake sandwich, she really enjoyed it. Not much filler at all. I ordered a variety. So I had the Cali Virginia Roll which was amazing!! I wish I would have ordered two orders. It was just more on the pricey side. I also had the fried shrimp which were HUGE. I didn't even finish it all. I cannot wait to come back and try everything again.

I gave up and went to the bar. No joke. Food was good but holy crap worst service.... Until the end for the burn. When we finally got water we sat with empty glasses... long enough for me to go to the bar and get refilled and still not see her. Even my son went to the bar for a freakn soda. All of a sudden a table of 6 sat next to us for her to attend and we got our plates removed while my husband was still pulling the food off his plate. Dishes weren't fully clean- I'm being told by my husband and son- and apparently a white hair and residual of soy sauce or something so dishwasher step up your game. I dunno man- 6 years ago we came and hated the service and the food was bland. We came today for our anniversary dinner with an attempt for redemption - service continued to suck, bartender was a bad @$$- food was better than last time. Oysters were clean- so maybe next time we will just sit in the bar. My kid said for the gen A - "overall bunions service; good food- vibe chill but What's the deal with all these flies inside !!!??? Bunions. I'm gunna rate this place a 6/7 ‍out of 10 but overall mid- def bunion service

My husband, best friend, and I went during happy hour, and I was impressed by how many items were on the menu. We started with the chips and guac (even my guac-hating husband liked it!) and the wings with the server's recommendation of blueberry BBQ sauce. It sounds unusual, but it was SO good. They only have chipotle blue cheese for dipping, and as someone who isn't a big blue cheese fan, I was surprised by how much I liked it. All three of us ordered the smashburger and fries from the happy hour menu for $12. This was a true smashburger with thin patties with crispy edges, not the thicker burgers a lot of places try to pass off as one. I've been thinking about it ever since. I'll definitely be back, especially since happy hour is extended until 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Next time, I want more wings and to try the tacos. Great atmosphere for a date night or girls' night out!

I brought a party of 5 to finally partake in the culinary excellence that Eurasia has to offer. As a collective we ordered- STEAK N EGGS w/ no egg : such depth in all aspects of every bite. The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied. As well as Chef Braedon for coming out to introduce himself and explain the magic he placed on our table. My friends and I will most definitely be back.

I ordered the Black and Blue burger with sweet potatoes waffle fried, and my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. I got my burger with a little pink, and it was cooked to perfection! Sometimes I am hesitant to get pink because it's been to raw. The burger was not only cooked to perfection, I really loved the bleu cheese sauce and grilled onions. The waffle fries with the cinnamon/brown sugar sauce were great as well. My son also really enjoyed his burger, but he did say his fries tasted like shrimp.
