When I went back to address the issue, I didn't get any real solution, just excuses. Brakes are one of the most important safety components, and it's unacceptable to have them done carelessly. If something as critical as brakes can't be handled properly here, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for service. I would not recommend Tyler Reyes, he is not a good mechanic. An oil change is the most basic service a mechanic can do, so if that can't be done correctly, it makes me question the quality and attention to detail on more serious repairs. On my appointed day they immediately started working on my car and by 3 o'clock they were calling me at my home to tell to come pick it up because it was ready! They only fixed what was needed. Some other things that I was told needed to be fixed by other people turned out not to be true and they knew that, so they didn't try to sell me on that. They are wonderful guys because very rarely do you find a place that doesn't make up other things to sell you on.

It turned out that the damage was extensive and that the best option was to replace the engine, which wasn't worth the cost. What I appreciated most about All Access is that they were honest and up front about the extend of the damage and the cost of the repair and transparent about the fact that anything less would not be worth the cost - even though they could have taken apart my engine for $800 and then told me the same thing. They also allowed me to keep my broken car at their location for a week while I figured things out. I truly appreciated their honesty and kindness, and if I lived in Fresno, they'd be my go-to for repairs!

Lazy workers charged me $280 to smother my parts in silicone. It was cheaper to buy a torque wrench and do the repair myself the right way, 0/10 would not recommend.

But Phil was calm and spent time to answer my questions about my battery warning issue. Seems he has nailed the importance of this small but huge aspect of customer psychology. For me, it's this initial contact that usually seals the deal in the decision to take the next step. Felt very comfortable after speaking to Phil that they would take a good look and confirm what I was experiencing with the car. Most people nowadays are reading up on the symptoms with AI, and a good shop imo assumes this interaction. Phil gave me a very reasonable quote and confirmed my hunches were on track. Took the car in first thing in the morning and spoke with a gentleman (maybe the owner) who took my report . No one rushed me, which is key for me. I understand that time is money, but so is trust. For most people, this is won or lost in the first conversation. It's tough because people are just not happy to begin with when they staring down a hefty bill, no matter what usually. EA Service nailed it. Felt totally comfortable the whole time that the car was in good hands, and they did why they said. Period. The price was below the initial estimate which was nice. Phil also did not up-charge me for a battery he ended up getting/needing from the dealer. Extra nice. For a first time experience I was very pleased, and I am pretty skeptical when it comes to shops generally. Compared to other experiences Phil and the shop hit every mark. Extra points for communication, which again is huge. Gave me back a clean car fixed right. Earned my business, and can't say enough about Phil, who if you read the reviews, is clearly a huge factor in the customer experience. Super good guy and communicator.
