Corned beef and pastrami sandwich was great. The clerks were nice and assisted with purchase choices.

I actually wish I could give them less than a star. Visited the store today to experience the most incompetent group of idiots that I've ever met. Went to the restaurant for a simple, regular cold turkey sub everything at cucumbers and green peppers. I've learned to add grill, cucumbers and green peppers from other stores, I visited another store and they offered them and I was like wow so I went to the app and I seen that there's tons of things that you can add of course there's an additional charge for those two things it's just $.35 each, which is well worth it. I've been visiting this store for over 10 years. I was going to the store every Saturday and the funny thing is when I asked for extra lettuce, they're quick to offer that and charge me $.35 but other top and so I go in today I go through the drive-through I'll meet the representative comes on and she I order she says oh no we can't add that. I said well why she said well we don't have it. I said OK I said you don't have it. She said yeah I said well according to the app you do she said well one moment so then she comes back. She said we have it, but that's not something that we add. I said well why why don't you have that is something that's additional charge and I'm happy to pay for it. She says no that's not what we add and she names the things that usually come on a regular so I said I am aware of that. I asked you to add those and I'm not sure as to why you don't but I'm happy to just order through the app and just pick it up cause I can do that too. She said we'll pull up. I pull up the Manager. Miguel comes to the Window another incompetent employee. It's sad because their main focus of the day is prepare food according to the customers request it's not a very difficult orders not technical. It was really easy order and he came. He said well no we don't offer. We could add it to a salad, but we don't add it to a sandwich. I said well you up charge me for other things like lettuce there's a $.35 charge. I said it's clearly in the app if I wanted to, and I knew you were not capable of doing it then I could've ordered through the app. He said we just ordered through the app then so I pulled off and I'll never visit that store again. I'll take my money somewhere else. Miguel and the staff incompetent unhelpful un knowledgeable never did anything to research. It never tried to figure it out until it's pretty sad avoid the store if you want your food to be made well and you want good customer service. read more

Service was horrible restaurant forgot my salad I called when I got to my location. I spoke with the manager named Jennifer and she said she would put my name on the list to get my salad. I go back to get my salad and they tell me that Jennifer quit and that they cannot give me the salad that I paid for. She's telling me I have to pay for it for a salad that they didn't give me and I found it to be very racist and very discriminatory as if I'm asking for something free when my total bill was $60.. never going back!!!! read more

Good corned beef. Get it warm. Mr. Sub (Italian cold cuts) was solid. Get it cold. Solid Chicago-style subs. Good service.

Very disappointed! I stopped patronizing this location over 2 years ago due to always recieving inaccurate orders. I am not going back. The best locations are wells st. Downtown and the location on River Oaks dr. These locations are truly resentative of the brand. Strong advise to the owner: Hire employees who really want to work. I am furious they do not carry cheesecakes anymore. I used to order them all the time, but now I have no reason to return.

1st time ordering online & I was supposed to call when I was outside. I did that & the phone kept going into vm. I ended up getting into the drive thru line because no one would come to the door. I sat in the line for forty minutes all for the young man to keep telling me how busy they were..I don't care, that's why I ordered online so I don't have to wait, at least not for 40 minutes..of course my order wasn't correct but my patience was gone..the crazy thing is I didn't mean to order from this location & was praying that everything was going to be alright.. no it wasn't..I won't return.. read more

I'm only giving this place a 1 star because they don't take any card without a chip now. So since I don't have a chip on my card they cant serve me. I grew up in Chicago and always loved Mr. Submarine sandwiches. Back in 2000 I moved to south Texas and lived there for 17 years. I only recently came back to the Midwest and when I saw the Mr. Submarine sign I couldn't drive by without stopping for one of my favorite sandwiches. I ordered the Mr. Submarine sub and all I can say is "Wow!! It tastes just as good as it did back then." The prices are reasonable, the service is great, and the food is so good. Slowest service of any place I've probably ever been before. Food is mediocre and your order is hardly ever right. Been to this location plenty of times hoping it would get better, but no such luck. You wait in line in the drive thru for a good half hour to get your food, and that's after wasting a good 5 minutes trying to get the employee to understand your order for a simple sandwich and fries because they don't seem to understand English that well.
