We visited for the first time this week. #1 Service. Nicest people working there that I can remember, from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. We ordered Pan Fried noodles with chicken. Amazing, our daughter, who is pretty picky was eating the dish like a last meal. Meat rolls were big and yummy, texture was spot on. Make sure to ask for a side of the hot mustard, it paired great. Our other dish was one of the combo plates. Garlic chicken and a "side" ( it was a big side) of the sweet and sour chicken. Again the texture of the fried chicken was amazing. Tasty food with authentic flavors - would highly recommend the Peking Duck! Prices might be a bit high, but worth it for the most authentic Asian restaurant in Billings (I've tried a few so I know). Very good food. A little salty, which is why I gave it a 4-star rating. Overall, really good food. Broccoli beef was very good. The cuts of meat taste like actual flank steak. Not that mushy, jelly-like stuff in the shape of steak pieces that Golden Phoenix and other Chinese places use as well. Orange chicken was very good. My daughter is 3 and almost ate the whole plate to herself. Kids are picky so that is a good clue as to it being good. Sweet and sour chicken was solid. Egg rolls might be the best in town and the cheese wontons have great flavor. Never ate in the store before but I've picked up orders for delivery and the store looks very nice. Super clean. Ordered take out and pre tipped 25%. It was ready on time and the food was decent but the images on the menu are misleading. One item in particular was the won to soup the wontons were tasteless. The portions were not what you expect from standard Chinese takeout as the cost was quite more than grand garden. I asked for the Mongolian beef to be max spicy and there was not one single pepper was to be found. Superb ramen. We ordered takeout while in town and ended up going back 3 times during our stay. The tonkatsu broth and char siu pork were outstanding. The boba was also top notch. One of the best meals we had in Billings. Highly recommend. read more

I wanted sushi for my birthday so we decided to give this place a try. Because Covid is still a thing, we got our order to go. We ordered a tempura roll, a spider roll and an order of the fried calimari. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was beautifully packaged and fresh. The sushi rolls were huge. The flavor was amazing. What surprised us most was the calimari. It was so tender on the inside with a light cripy tempura batter on the outside. It did not need any sauce. We went in for lunch and discovered that although their name includes "sushi bar" they no longer serve sushi. Instead they have ramen and appetizers. The appetizers were decent, we had sesame balls and bbq pork buns. The ramen was $18/bowl. It was just ok. The broth was good but the toppings lacked real quality. Imitation crab sticks? Service was good but for a $48 lunch, we both really wanted more. Think we'd rather go to Hokkaido for ramen, if any at all. read more

This used to be my go to Ramen place when they opened. I know a lot of people love the sushi, but I loved the Ramen. I loved it so much I would eat there at least twice a month. Today is my last day eating here. Nobody was in there except my family. The waitress couldn't get her crap together. Made our drinks warm when there's supposed to be ice. Asked multiple times for water and never got some so I went and grabbed them myself. Also had to ask multiple times for utensils....had food, but nothing to eat it with. When I looked for waitress she was sitting behind the counter staring at her phone. Too bad so sad. read more

Food is consistent and good for Billings quick Asian cuisine. Service, on the other hand, is a nightmare at best. Never order online unless you want a headache and a fight just to get your food. Even if you can speak Spanish to the staff, you won't get anywhere. Orders are consistently lost and staff is unwilling or not empowered to make it right. Made me wait for a general manager to show up from offsite even with proof of order and payment. It's happened more than once and is unacceptable. Go to Noodle House or Hokkaido for a consistent experience and equal or better food. read more

I have been in twice, mainly because of the ramen. First time I got the seafood ramen which was good. A few sea food I was not sure about but we're landlocked here. Pretty much all seafood is different. This time I got the veggie ramen and again yummy! I can't remember off hand what my daughter got each time but it was a thumbs up from her. In particular she loves the strawberry drink and must say, it has a lovely strawberry flavor. The staff has been very friendly and the decor is very nice. No gold every where and heavy. This place is light and airy. We really appreciate the upside down umbrellas and the cherry blossom "tree" in the corner. read more

I was excited to try this place because of the good reviews. Unfortunately I wasn't super impressed. There is no sushi 'bar'. And they don't serve alcohol. Sushi just naturally goes with Saki or beer! I had the spicy miso ramen. It was average. Not spicy at all. I asked for chili oil and it didn't bring up the spice even then. The people at the next table asked for it too. The pork buns had good flavor but eat them immediately. Otherwise they turn hard. Definitely not fresh. I didn't order a sushi roll as I felt the price of almost $19 was a little excessive. The waitress seems a little inexperienced and kept apologizing for things. Fantastic sushi bar, I would highly recommend coming here! Personally, this has been the best sushi I have had in Billings. The service was phenomenal! We were seated right away by the kind staff. The food and drinks came out super fast. They have so much to offer on their menu. I had The Bomb Sushi Roll, it was just that. It had a nice crunch on the outside and a sweet/tangy teriyaki drizzle that was delicious. I normally never leave reviews but this place was great. The servers checked on us several times to see if we need anything, which was greatly appreciated. The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty! Very cute atmosphere, clean, and well kept.
